Space: Clean. Neat. Peaceful. There was classical music playing. Staff: Very polite. Honest. Helpful. Everyone worked at a calm and even pace. Service: I went in for an oil change. Ran me 32.00 after tax. Waited 30 minutes while Thomas did the oil change for me. Pulled the car out of the lot for me. read more

I showed up for a car inspection at 2:30 PM. Their website lists their hours of operation from 8 AM to 4 PM. I was told I arrived too late and everything was shut down. I was told I needed to arrive before 3pm but when I pointed out that it was 230, the guy just shrugged and kept eating and told me everything was shut down. What a ridiculous business and clearly lazy workers who just don't feel like doing their job. I won't be going back here and be taking my service elsewhere. read more

very nasty, rude people and terrible service. They have no idea what they're doing and I ended up having to take my car elsewhere. Avoid at all costs read more

I dropped in because of the great reviews and I can confirm that the mechanic here seems very honest and upfront about the work required and the expected cost. However I did not have my car repaired here because although they seem trustworthy and very professional by offering great advice, their repair prices are a bit high. If you dont mind the cost and are looking for a a trustworthy mechanic, then you found the right place. read more

I've been to this place a couple times - once for inspection, and once for an oil change - each time no problems. The guys were friendly and the price was fair. The third time I was there wasn't a good experience. I called the day before to explain the problem my car was having and they told me to bring it in the next morning by 8:30. I arrived just before 8:30 and was told they didn't have time to diagnose the problem and that they wouldn't work on the car. Bearing in mind they originally pointed out the problem to me when I was there for an oil change (even gave me a rough estimate on price). I took the time out of my work morning - during rush hour - to bring the car to them only to have them turn me away. Completely wasted my morning with no apologies. I won't go back to them. read more

I have been taking my cars to Tom, Rich and the gang for more than 12 years. It started with my VW bug and for the past 11 years my Toyota. They get things done. They fix what needs to be fixed, simple as that. They don't focus their energy on finding issues they can dogpile on your invoice as a primary business strategy. They're also mindful and considerate of the customer's time and are so very patient. It's also so close to the JSQ Path station, it's easy and convenient to get to them after you drop off your car. Did I say they just fix what needs to be fixed? They don't song and dance, because they're the real deal and they don't need to. Rich is a laugh. He and Tom are so affable and easy to talk with. They'll straight talk you and will let you know if something needs to get done to get you where you need to go. These guys don't judge, don't pile on, don't upsell, don't bs, don't swindle and give me the one thing I need more than anything - peace of mind. Before I go on a long road trip, they've got my back. When I changed my commute to a much longer one, they got my back. Finally, my car carries the most important people in my life, day in and day out. Simply put, I trust these guys at Summit with my family. Be a lifer like me, go to Summit Auto. read more

Always does great work on our car! Sometimes a wait to get car in, but mechanics we can trust.

Most of the customers probably just drive the car and have very little insight on what is happening under the hood. I called the service to ask for a price estimate for breaks replacement .. I also had a problem with a stuck caliper . The owner answered in a very evasive way, mumbled something about the price and said that the caliper must be replaced .. I asked "why without even checking you say that it MUST be replaced ?" ... if you google "stuck caliper" you will see that in most cases, it just gets released, re-greased , and it's good to go for another couple of years . After this question I started to feel that the person on the other side of The phone became nervous.. "we don't fix", he replied to me with an angry tone .. ok , I said , thinking that probably he wants to, you know, get his share on getting me the new part .. I am as the customer always looking for an optimal price. and I offered him to get the caliper myself... he replied "you don't know what part to get" - HERE HE WAS REFERRING TO ME AS A USUAL CUSTOMER THAT KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE MECHANICS ... also iit was said with this angry tone . . then I asked to break down the price estimate for the parts and labor .. before even naming the figures , he said - "you know this is an estimate, if I need to fix something else, besides the caliper I will do it too .." I replied that it's ok , but if the additional fixes cost more that 20% of the initial estimate he should let me know. That opened the pandora box ... The OWNER almost started to yell at me , saying , "take you car elsewhere, my customers TRUST me !!" I told him that I'm not his customer yet (at that point I started to understand that I will not use his service) .. and he gave me the final answer - "you ask too many questions" and hung up .. HONEST ??? I really don't think so .. GOOD MECHANIC ? - didn't have a chance to verify .. maybe since I see nobody complained here about broken cars .. although it should correlate with honesty and transparency. He is a "good smiling guy" that promises that "you car will be able to fly after the service" but then abuses lack of you knowledge about the mechanics .. maybe he cheats just a little bit .. who knows .. don't believe ? try and ask him questions :) read more

GREAT SERVICE! Rich is very honest! YES! AND HONEST MECHANIC! He takes the time to look things over to give you an honest assessment of your car. Mine was the catalytic converter (youch). Rich took the time to research the most cost effective way to fix my car correctly and he did as such! My baby is purring like a kitchen, my engine light is off and I can drive knowing the best work that could be done to my car had been done. Rich also believes in doing it right at the right price because he understands that a relationship between a mechanic and a car owner is very important and trusting. He has my trust. I had to replace the starter for 2000 Mazda MPV And I found them in Yelp app While I took my car there, they were polite and very nice, I asked one of the guys there what the price for it and he told me $ 5,000, and then laughed and promised that they would discount the price. The Car get out of the garage just after two days my credit card charged for $535.77. In addition to my knowledge and I also asked my mechanic in Maryland How much this kind of work should cost and he told me between $ 325 $ 400 max. So I asked for a discount and then the guy who said that is the owner of the garage and only if I paid cash so I will get the Tax off from the total amount The guy promised me the discount in the beginning and then told me why I asking for a discount, etc. They told me that my car a real pain in the ass and I'm not publish they forced me like that's not the way to do business. In addition he expressed his personal opinion on my new business which is really good joke and not professional by what he saw on the Internet. I went away very disappointed and after 1 mile of driving the car was get smoke, and then i notice that the water tank is leaking. Now the car get new problem after they replace the starter. And need to take my car to the garage again. Ripped off!! Low attitude!! read more

I've been using Summit for the last two years. I drive my car much so I mostly use Summit to change my oil and make sure everything is running right with my car. But what they don't do is charge you for unnecessary work. In the last three years that I've used Summit is that they've changed my oil and topped off the fluids. On the one occasion my car was misfiring they did just the work it took to fix the problem. Could I get my oil changed for less? Yes, but Summit does that, inspects my car (Volvo), and doesn't gouged me for anything else. read more

Nice and honest people who get the work done efficiently. They do not do unnecessary services and force you to charge extra unlike other places. I will never go back to a BMW service repair place as long as these guys are around. It took only one day for them to order a tire for me. I returned the next day and it was changed immediately. Yes I saw the big hole! read more

Rare that I walk out of an automotive shop and feel both educated about my vehicle and not ripped off. Guys here are great. Have a pleasant attitude and work fast. They do get very busy I've called an hour or so after they opened and they were totally booked. They work under a daily first come first served basis so get there right around 8. Big fan and plan to use this place as long as I'm in this area. read more

Stopper by late notice a few weeks back to get my car serviced. Fit me right in and was very surprised at how reasonable their pricing was. I will recommend and go back read more

Rich, Tom and his brother (whose name escapes me at the moment) are BMW experts. When I still had my 528iS, they took good care of it, at a price 2/3 of what the dealership charges, including routine maintenance such as Mobile 1 oil/filter changes. Now that I'm a soccer Dad and drive a Toyota Sienna minivan, I still have them maintain and repair my vehicles. I recently had the a/c serviced and they charged me about 30% less than what Hudson Toyota was asking, and I have supercool air. read more

These guys are pretty much everything you want from mechanics. They are experts and love working on cars. They are thorough, good with pricing and advice, and don't do unnecessary work. I travel a good distance just to bring all my vehicles to them. There is only one negative: they don't have a parking lot and they have a steady clientele (like me) so you HAVE TO CALL IN ADVANCE to make sure they have space and time to fit you in. Other than that I'll be using the guys for all my car repairs as long as I live in the area. Talk to Rich. He knows his stuff and explains everything well. read more

Finally an enjoyable experience with a mechanic. I'd been having AC issues for over a year without resolve. Rich was great - I felt he was honest throughout the entire process and he was very knowledgeable about my car. A couple weeks later and his suggestion/fix is holding up. My AC is working like it's brand new and my car even seems to be running smoother. The prices here are fair - come here instead of cutting corners when it comes to your vehicle. Can't recommend these guys enough. Thanks Rich! read more

After a long run of terrible mechanics, liars and straight up thieves, I found these guys through Yelp and took the chance... Success!!! Rich and his two partners are great! They diagnosed the problem on my old Subaru, ordered the parts and fixed it in record time. They were very honest about my car and what should, could and shouldn't be done to it. There was no up-sale pitch at all which was very refreshing. I will be bringing all of my vehicles to them from now on. Highly recommended!!! read more

They should name this place 3 Crazy Koreans and a wild Puerto Rican. I love this place and have been through 4 totally different types of cars. The mechanics are trustworthy and fun. I have been using them for over ten years and never had a single complaint nor did I ever hear one. They are so friendly and warm you forget that you are dealing with auto mechanics. read more

Rich and his people are always great to work with. I AM that girl who doesn't know her gaspipe from her elbow wrench, and mechanics see me coming a mile away. Rich has a way of explaining what's going on without talking down to me--not a note of condescension. And he goes out of his way to NOT do unnecessary work; to NOT have me spend money I don't need to spend. read more

These guys are beyond amazing. I wish I'd found them years ago. They are fair and honest, qualities you don't often find in auto mechanics.

Was referred by a friend and was not disappointed. Rich simply does not do repairs unless it is crucial. Had a light on and he explained the reason and recommended no to fix as it is not important and will be expensive. The light went off in its own a couple of days later! read more

Quick turn around for my state inspection, everyone was pleasant and accommodating! Prices were clearly posted which I appreciated since it's so easy to feel like you're being ripped off at a mechanics. I will absolutely come back and recommend this place to friends! read more

I have been going to these guys for major repairs since 1980. I brought my 2006 Honda Pilot in this month because there was a small leak someplace where it was losing coolant. After they checked out the lines they could not locate the source so they placed dye in the coolant system. They told me it was ok to drive around for a couple of days because the leak was not major. I did so, brought it back, they placed some sort of light under the car and was able to find the leak. It turned out it was slowly seeping through the radiator. Radiator had to be replaced. After driving the vehicle for at least 2 weeks now no issues at all. It was a big job but I thought the price was reasonable. If I would have brought it to a dealer I cannot imagine what the cost would have been. I will not go to anyone else for big auto repairs. read more

Honest, friendly communicative people who do good work. They have repaired my car twice and I've thoroughly enjoyed the process. Car was done when they said it would be. And I've walked out with a bill considerably smaller than what I would have paid at the dealer, with nothing unnecessary added. Highly recommended. read more

Useless place - avoid this place at all cost. This place just wants you to bring your car in so that they can bait and switch you. Thanks but no thanks.... read more

I'm a chick. Don't know a thing about cars. Luckily having such a great mechanic like Rich, I don't need too. He's honest. Doesn't try to up sell. Tells you what it is and how much to fix. Doesn't deviate. Been going to him for years. Won't go anywhere else. And he makes my car purr. read more
