And to know it's coming from the owner Ifran there's no resolving or changing it. Paid just to get my car out of their garage. Who knows what else they would have done to it to up charge me. Don't trust them with my car anymore. Either they don't know what they're doing and expect you to pay for their mistakes or their greedy and will bait and switch you once they're in possession of your car. Nasty work.

He wants $575 for labor and $245 for parts plus tax and if I use a Cc 3% surcharge. Of course I use my Cc can't use American express only visa. Another new mechanic pulls his car behind my car as to trap me in. So I can't leave without paying him his padded bill . I am so shocked I have been a customer since 1985. Pretty decent experience here--had an issue with my car stalling, and they took a look at and…read morereplaced my battery, which I expected and was at what I'd consider a standard or reasonable price --not an amazing deal, but not a ripoff--fair price for work done. They did further recommend that I replace my tires--I can't tell if that was upselling or legit--I had a recall and asked the dealer to take a look; they said I should replace them relatively soon but that also it could wait a bit. The other thing I found irksome was that I got a parking ticket notice in the mail a few weeks after the battery replacement that was clearly received while the car was here and parked on their block. I will say to their credit that they acknowledged it right away and paid it without fuss (or to be specific, reimbursed me, as by the time I received the notice the ticket was close to overdue, forcing me to pay it immediately online), but I still found it to be a nuisance. Whether the ticket was a rare occurrence for them or just a built-in expected cost for parking on city streets, I feel like they should have been aware and paid the ticket without my having to get the notice and call them to deal with it, wait to be reimbursed, etc. They did follow up a couple of times to ask if repairs were acceptable and car was running well. So I'm legitimately torn. Many positives here--it feels hard to find an honest and efficient mechanic--I will probably return the next time I have an issue, but I wouldn't say I'm fully devoted yet, as one would like to be for their car repair, and would pause and consider another option if I can find a better local rec.

While my tire was being serviced, they left a deep scratch on the passenger-side door panel of my brand-new 2025 GMC Acadia. I was quoted $562 to replace the damaged panel. Also, there was oil fingerprints all over the front bumper and inside of the car. As I entered the car after the service was complete, the car had a very strong unpleasant odor, wich made the experience even more uncomfortable. I am extremely disappointed with the way my vehicle was treated. In my experience, this was one the worse shop experience I have had in Town of Washington, NJ. I strongly recommend taking pictures of your vehicle before leaving it with this shop and considering other options if you can. The waiting room is dirty and dusty ... this place is not good anymore even in case of an emergency. Pett's Tire Auto Center in Washington, NJ is a terrible place. I would not recommend it to anyone.
