    Pork soup dumplings
    Jaime N.

The outdoor dining was nice to get fresh air and enjoy the weather. The Pork Dumplings and the beef noodle soup were good, only that the skin was a bit too thick and the soup's spiciness was medium, not mild. They could've put much less chili oil in the soup and just offer a bottle with more chili oil for patrons who want it extra spicy. This would allow for a greater number of people to enjoy the dish.

United Dumpling was great. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share, Five Treasure soup dumplings, veggie potstickers, shrimp and chicken truffle dumplings, mushroom tempura, crispy tofu, green beans, cucumber salad, sesame balls, and mapo tofu. My favorites were the tofu, the mushroom tempura, and the rainbow soup dumplings. Everything came out fast. Good for groups, vegan/vegetarian friendly. They also serve tea, wine, and soju. Definitely an easy go-to dumpling spot.

This review is very long overdue. A friend and I stopped here on a whim before we were going to head to the airport in SF. We're not from the Bay Area but found United Dumplings on Yelp!! We decided we wanted to split a couple of dishes. We opted for the pineapple fried rice and some vegetarian dan dan noodles. The order came out quite quickly and we immediately dug in. Everything was so delicious! I will admit, I didn't have high expectations for the pineapple fried rice. However, it was sooo good. It had a great balance of textures and flavors. The noodles were also very delicious! Sufficient sauce, but not too much. Everything was cooked to perfection and overall I had a very great experience at United Dumplings. I would definitely come again!!

Pleasantly surprised by the dumplings at United Dumplings! I didn't have high expectations for a dumpling restaurant in the Marina, but Grandma's Pork Dumplings ($10.95) were authentic and super delicious! It was a cold windy night, so I ordered mapo tofu ($17.95) and the vegetarian stir-fried noodles ($15.95). The mapo tofu was good, but lacked any sort of tingling from Sichuan peppercorns. The noodles were decent, though it did have cauliflower, which was kind of unusual. Food came out pretty quickly! I would definitely return to United Dumplings to try more of their tasty dumplings!

Amazing food and fast service. The small fried pork dumplings (both the regular and spicy version, which is not too spicy) are a highlight!

Busy street with many food options . Their hot soup noodles did the job on this cold night . Small restaurant but lots of door dash pick ups! We enjoyed our noodles . Grandma's dumpling was ok . Might have to try their other dumplings !

Delicious, fast, and friendly. We had string beans, veg soup dumplings, and veg dan dan noodles. All were perfect. I asked them about the dipping sauce for the dumplings, and she brought out the base so I could take a pic of the bottle (it was black vinegar, outstanding!). Will definitely be back

United Dumplings in SF never disappoints The Five Treasures soup dumplings were juicy and bursting with rich broth. The Sichuan chicken hit that perfect balance of heat and crunch , while the sautéed green string beans were garlicky and addictive. Grandma's pork pot stickers came out golden and crisp with a juicy center, and the Sichuan Dan Dan noodles finished everything off with that creamy, nutty kick

We happened to be exploring San Francisco and as one does when they are walking around, we got hungry and decided to find something nearby. I'm so glad we bumped into this place because it was good! We had no expectations and were pleasantly surprised with the fast service and good food. Everything we ordered was tasty and we all agreed we would return if we are ever back in the area.

Meh. It just wasn't memorable or delicious. To have a dumpling place in the city, is to say our dumplings are awesome. They can't because I think their dumplings are previously frozen. Just not fresh. Not soft and light. Just sub par. We won't return. Service was good.

We're in SFO for the weekend and in the Marina District. It is a vibrant place with lovely restaurants and we walked past this place earlier and decided to circle back for dinner. They have a nice menu with a variety of dumplings, rice, noodles, veggies, and some dimsum options. It's a very small place, like 8 tables inside and out type of place. Wait staff was nice and Ambiance was anything you made it to be. In our case, casual but the table.next to us were dressed to the nine. So it was great. Food was delish and prices were SFO average. Will return. The restroom was the only thing I took a star off for as I felt it was practically in the kitchen. Too close for my comfort.

AVOID THIS PLACE! The most rude and horrible experience at this restaurant today. The server in the picture was going out of her way to make us feel unwelcome and rude while still seating other customers after we've sat down. The restaurant closes at 2:30pm. We came in at 1:49pm, ordered right away and the food came out by 2:07pm. The dishes weren't placed on the table rather passed to us carelessly without a single word. When we thanked her, she simply turned her back to us and waltzed away. When we asked for a coke chili sauce, same thing, didn't utter a word seemed upset and just turned away. We were out the door by 2:30 on the dot. The lack of professionalism shown by the server was incredibly rude and soured our experience. We were super mindful to order quick and yet the server had such a nasty attitude. I've never been treated this was at an establishment before in my entire life. Unreal. We still tipped generously even though we were severely mistreated. There are many dumpling restaurants within the area with FAR BETTER service.

Pretty disappointed in this dumpling restaurant in Marina. I had high hopes given the great reviews but everything we ordered was just mid. The crispy silken tofu was very tasty but besides that everytign else - sichuan chicken, Chinese broccoli, Dan Dan noodles was just ok. The grandma pork dumplings were the biggest disappointment as dumpling is in the name of the restaurant but the dough tasted kind of glue-y, the shape was quite strange, and it tasted worse than frozen dumplings.

Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.

"Everything!" That's all one needs to say. At the entrance, clearly marked are signs reading, "Reservations" and "Walk-ins". Since we had reservations, we waited only a few minutes to get seated at the bar. The bar makes it easy to converse with your partner and to peer over as the fire from the range springs up from the kitchen. Our server brought us some "Free Bites" of roasted peanuts and smashed cucumbers. She was such a pleasant lady with quite the wit that made me laugh between courses. We ordered a full bottle of Negori sake. Note: if you do not finish the sake bottle, they cannot pack it to go for you, so drink up! Obviously, we couldn't order everything on the menu. For our first visit, we definitely wanted their special dish, Fried Squab. It was delicious! The meat was moist and the dipping salt with Sichuan peppercorn paired perfectly! Just don't focus too much on the visual... the head and claws. Hot Mustard Jellyfish Salad ~ I loved the "crunch" of the jellyfish and the hot mustard marinade was just spicy enough to start a slow burn up the nose. Beef Chow Fun Noodles ~ Delicious and so very savory. I was amazed at how flavorful this dish was without being salty. Clay Pot Rice w/Chinese Sausage & Bacon ~ Loved how the entire pot was seasoned nicely. The sauce did not only sit at the top, but penetrated deep down into the rice. XO Escargot w/Milkbread ~ I've only had French Escargot and these are just as good, if not better! Fish Fragrant Eggplant ~ Another savory and very umami dish. Red Bean Shaved Ice ~ Always a refreshing dessert. Dig in for the surprise in the center. We had such a nice, cozy dinner here. Even while at the bar, we never felt for lack of space. They paced the dishes out perfectly, so there was always room to eat and enjoy. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

The dumplings had a good amount of filling and were hot and fresh. The scallion pancakes had plenty of scallions which I appreciated.
