Too busy on her phone! Sarcastic and belittling!

Rude attendant. Stated weather delays from SFO to Tucson. No weather sorry, checked the weather reports and satellites! Airlines always lying!

It's easy to navigate the terminals and bags are returned to baggage claim in a reasonable amount of time. The airport is kept clean and there's a good selection of vendors gate side for an airport of this size. The only thing TUS needs is a few more direct flights to other cities, but that's more on the airlines than on the airport itself. As a private pilot, the facilities air side are quite good as well. If you're visiting Tucson, welcome to our city! Be cautioned of the city's (not airport) new speed trap along Valencia Rd. as of May 2026. It's a seven lane road posted at an abnormally low 30 MPH. It's best to avoid Valencia Rd. completely and head straight out Tucson Blvd. to reach your destination within the Old Pueblo.

It's a pretty small airport,, literally just a handful of airlines or so that people will know that flies from here, and then maybe a couple of local airlines. Since it's not a huge airport that does help with the going in and out of the airport at least, from the security line checkouts to the different gates, as they're basically all in the same place. As far as restaurants and stuff inside, it's definitely more of a drinking airport, as most of the places in here aren't going to have diverse flavors or anything and mostly just bar type places. Don't have much more thoughts about the airport. It's fairly smaller compared to most, but that's not always a bad thing as it's a straight forward line in.

He has Addison's disease and it's hard for him to cope with stress, and I wanted to make sure that the transition would go smoothly. I found Happy Tails online and all the reviews were great so I've decided to contact them. Kim called me right back. She sounded very positive and helpful which made me feel very comfortable. Every time I sent her questions, she answered my right back. The day before we were flying out, there was a change with our flight and I was getting stressed out about it. I reached out to Kim and then she clarified that everything is OK. I also had a payment issue at the check. The lady told me to pay at the check in even I already paid to Happy Tails. I already I gave her the authorization document, but she was very demanding and I wasn't sure what was going on. I didn't want to waste my time so I paid, and contacted Kim right after. She told me that I didn't have to pay at the check in, and she would refund me from Happy Tails. I was able to pick up Freddy without any issues at Honolulu Airport, and Freddy came out just fine. I really don't think I could have done it by myself. I made a great decision to work with Happy Tails.

I reached out in late February to inquire and got a response fairly quickly. They had an A+ on BBB and I looked at reviews in addition to their website and some competitors. I went with Happy Tails from my interactions with them. I was extremely happy with the prep materials and contact ahead of the trip and regular contact during the cats' 30+ hour trip west. I thought the price was fair for 3 animals and the distance. I would use them again.
