    $3,000 for two 1st class tickets from Tucson to Providence yielded: a) Lost luggage, b) no hot food, c) movie system didn't work, d) even 1st class has to pay $5 for internet each leg. e) even though my luggage was lost, when I signed onto delta baggage website to receive 2,500 miles, they system said "you luggage was delivered on time" LOL Since I have over 750K lifetime miles on a competitor, I will stay with them. Delta blew their chance with me.

I travel for work as a field service technician and fly frequently, averaging around 100 flights per year. Because of the nature of my work, I travel with a 100-pound toolbox that is securely configured using Milwaukee's Packout system. This exact setup has been checked successfully at airports all across the country, including on the American Airlines flight I had just arrived on into Tucson. When I arrived at the ticketing counter around 6:00 AM to check my baggage for departure, I was immediately told by the ticketing agent that my stacked toolbox system would need to be separated. I calmly explained that the boxes are specifically designed to lock together securely and that I routinely fly with this setup without issue. Rather than handling the conversation professionally, both the ticketing agent and the supervisor repeatedly insisted that "every other airport in America is doing it wrong." That response was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Not only was I being spoken down to as a paying and extremely frequent traveler, but the staff also openly insulted baggage and ticketing personnel at virtually every other airport I have traveled through, including fellow American Airlines employees who had accepted this exact baggage setup without issue just hours earlier. I fully understand and respect that policies exist and safety comes first. However, there is a professional and respectful way to communicate policy differences to customers. Telling a loyal customer that every other airport in America is "wrong" is unacceptable customer service behavior and reflects very poorly on American Airlines' professionalism and consistency. Experiences like this are exactly what make loyal travelers reconsider who they fly with. After this interaction, I am seriously debating whether I want to continue flying with American Airlines moving forward. TUS is a nice airport but to have such disgruntled people at the point of customer service is beyond me. Unfortunately, this has really impacted how I feel about Tucson airport in general. Do better American Airlines staff!!

This was no easy task, considering all the paperwork that the state of Hawaii needs to secure a direct release for a dog onto the island. We drove from N. Idaho to Seattle with our five dogs, so that we could fly from Seattle to Honolulu for the agricultural inspection and then on to Hilo. Our dogs did amazing with much appreciation and thanks to the care and support from the folks at Happy Tails. Chris N. And Katie took care of getting our dogs from the hotel to the Seattle airport and on the plane to Honolulu. They were very caring of our dogs and understood how precious our dogs are. In Honolulu the team that works with Happy Tails watered and walked our dogs and took great care of them getting them from one flight to the agricultural inspection and then onto the dogs second flight from Honolulu to Hilo. They had an excellent pilot and he enjoyed listening to the dogs sing in the plane (We have huskies and malamutes). Everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend Happy Tails enough for anyone who needs to transport a dog, especially long distances!! They are exceptional!
