Whether they missed it in their "rigorous" 172-point CPO inspection, or they noticed it and certified anyways, I'm not sure which is worse. Despite this, Schumacher has refused to cover the costs of the repairs, even though they sold it to me in this condition in the first place. Stay FAR away from this dealership, especially if you're buying Certified Pre-Owned. Once you're out the door, they do not care about you one bit.

The finance guys sit in better offices than the sales people For a reason and is the last opportunity to squeeze everything out of you. They are pros at maximizing profit for their owner. They will talk about their family and yours as though they are your next door neighbor but it's just luring you in before yanking the hook. Just remember that any prices that end in $ - - 95 is that way for a reason, especially when they offer a $500 on the spot discount off the regular price. Others may not admit when they have been scammed. I am not too proud to say that I was duped by an experienced pro. What they don't know is that I too have many friends and will do my utmost to warn them of this shady practice. Word of mouth is a valuable tool For the consumer. The so called detailing service before delivery would leave the Japanese people at Lexus shaking their heads if they knew how their cars are being sold here. I came home and found stains on the driver seat that was not touched, trash left inside the car, folding seats not secured in place and crud all over the hatch. Apparently, no one looked under the hood either. Fluid levels should have been checked and latches should have been lubed. We go to a Lexus dealer expecting a higher level of service, detailing is not just a car wash with shiny tires.

Not one other person in the office said a word as he waddled off. I own five Toyotas. This dealership just lost number six.....and the service on my entire little fleet.
