Turns…read moreout, they "certified" the vehicle even though it had aftermarket parts on it that eventually caused complete failure of the tail lights and brake lights. Whether they missed it in their "rigorous" 172-point CPO inspection, or they noticed it and certified anyways, I'm not sure which is worse. Despite this, Schumacher has refused to cover the costs of the repairs, even though they sold it to me in this condition in the first place. Stay FAR away from this dealership, especially if you're buying Certified Pre-Owned. Once you're out the door, they do not care about you one bit.

Why? Because Angela will be upfront with you and do everything she can to make everything go smoothly. I emailed her what I wanted then we spoke on the phone. She explained to me that if I was set on color and options, there was no timetable available as to when I would get something. But if I liked something available that was in transit it would be a lot quicker. The first one she showed by had pretty much everything I wanted so I took it. She emailed me all the forms I needed to fill out, explained what the fees were and went to reserve the vehicle. Everything was done in less than an hour. Angela kept me informed by email anytime the status of my vehicle changed. When it got closer to delivery, she made sure I was prepared with everything I needed to bring to make it go smoothly. Thanks to Angela, Noah in Tech & Anthony in Finance delivery was a breeze, even with me being under the weather! Although I confirmed with Angela that removed and deleted everything I needed in my trade in while I was there, night came and it occurred to me I forgot to remove the SD card from my dashcam..... Sent Angela an email and the next business day I get a text with picture that it was done. I've never had a bad experience at Lexus of Route 10. From my very first visit everyone I've ever dealt with here has always made me feel like a valued customer.

Sales, Finance team and decent people in administration only reason for the single star - Sales experience is good (because YOU are paying and they need your business - all good) 2. This dealer sells Lexus cars :-) THE BAD (and WORSE) 1. Indifferent Customer Experience Leadership - they are paid to dispute and stall not provide service and to dispute every item very politely) . 2. More than a few detached advisors, enough to make those who do their jobs look bad - a lot of them upsell (alongside the Customer Engagement/Experience Folks) 3. Disputes to any feedback that requires them to actually provide customer service are automated across platforms (hence reference to names in the "response" to this review mentions names that are not referenced in this one!) Data to support this review: a. 6 years of CONSISTENTLY and ONLY servicing the car purchased at this dealer resulted in ~150% MARKUP on the Cost of Ownership (based on Lexus's own data for a vehicle of similar year/mileage) b. Over $22k charged for maintenance on a low mileage (less than 25k miles) Lexus-CPO vehicle purchased and exclusively serviced at this dealer for less than 6 years of ownership. c. The most expensive repair made was for an issue which went from "nothing found" to "watching" to a "must have repair/massive" aligned perfectly to when the vehicle was under warranty (issue identified) to when the warranty ran out!! Oil leaks don't repair themselves- oil leak was reported with pictures and names of advisors who were the reason for the dispute were shared in real time. d. Lexus makes exceptional cars and did its part during the dispute discussions sharing truthfully that they are dependent on the dealer in the partnership, hence the review. What other reason to infer from my experience and a lot of others in the many reviews, this dealer is great at SALES but not so much SERVICE. There are other dealers in this area that are exceptional in SERVICE - choose one of them instead.

I still let them do an oil change. When I picked up my car and asked why they kept calling me, I got a bunch of shrugging and "oh, they call me all the time too." I explained it was inconvenient and meant taking another day off work. Still nothing. As I was walking out, the advisor (Kevin Regan) muttered "sorry but yeah I'm not sorry" under his breath. I actually turned around and asked if he wanted to say it to my face. He postured, got aggressive, then hid behind a repeated "have a nice day." Not one other person in the office said a word as he waddled off. I own five Toyotas. This dealership just lost number six.....and the service on my entire little fleet. If Kevin had an ounce of people skills and offered an apology, a 15% token coupon, anything I wouldn't have flinched. Even after moving away, we would often make the trip back just to have them inspect our car because we knew they would give us honest advice. A while back, a chain oil change shop told us we needed new brake pads. We came here for a second opinion, and they explained that the rust we were seeing was normal and would wear off with regular local driving. They were right. A year later, another shop again tried to sell us brake pads during an oil change. We immediately brought the car here, and after a thorough inspection, they told us the brakes still had about 2,000 miles left. That level of honesty is rare. Instead of recommending unnecessary repairs, they only suggest work that actually needs to be done. Their prices are fair, their workmanship is excellent, and most importantly, they genuinely care about their customers.
