(She has kept the same plates since her first car.) Unrealized by her, the Performance Ford salesperson (Andrew) then proceeded to give her paperwork to sign indicating she was applying for NEW license plates. They allowed her to leave the dealership with her new car and her old license plates, despite this contradictory paperwork. About two weeks ago, my wife got a parking ticket indicating she has "fictitious plates" and now must go to court to resolve this miscommunication and misunderstanding between her and the dealership. When we reached out to the dealership to ask for a letter or some communication from their end, that this was clearly a misunderstanding between both parties, the manager (Timothy Sweeney) first declined because they didn't have access to "official letterhead," then proceeded to delay, and finally (after repeated follow up), sent an email without the essential letterhead. The letter did not speak to any of the miscommunication or take ownership for Ford personnel transferring her old plates to her new vehicle. It's very clear that Performance Ford takes no responsibility for any of their own mistakes. A little bit of courtesy could've gone a long way towards keeping a customer. We will never buy from them again.

Whether they missed it in their "rigorous" 172-point CPO inspection, or they noticed it and certified anyways, I'm not sure which is worse. Despite this, Schumacher has refused to cover the costs of the repairs, even though they sold it to me in this condition in the first place. Stay FAR away from this dealership, especially if you're buying Certified Pre-Owned. Once you're out the door, they do not care about you one bit.

This second time it was not as bad, but still not clean. A couple days later got a low tire pressure and ran out of fluids in the car. Since I work 3 miles from where they are located, I called them figuring that since they serviced cars they might be willing to put the put the fluids in and put the air back in the tires. Instead of providing any customer service for their product, they recommend I either go to a gas station or drive back to the dealership approximately 45 miles away to get this issue resolved.
