Buying a car sometimes can feel stressful, but my experience with Jesus Caldas was wonderful start to finish. He was very patient with me. Realized the yelp rating is not that great but at least for me......... Pretty good dealer... lets switch the word. Excellent dealer or people. I was always a fan of Volvo and Polestar and just got Polestar 4 which happens to be my 5 th Volvo/polestar. I always bought it from my local Volvo/ Polestar... but they did not have the exact spec i wanted. So I came to this dealer and what a wonderful to Work with, Ryan. He is what a gentleman. I switch cars quite a bit so, this is my 4th car in 2 years. So, i go to dealer alot! But never met a sales person who is as polite and not very pushing you to the edge. Besides my Lexus dealer guy, he is one of the best sales person I met. Thank you read more

Purchased a CPO 2022 XC90 T6 Inscription on 1/12/26. This was by far the most pleasurable car buying experience I've had in the last 20 years. Ryan E. was a pleasure to work with: knowledgeable, honest, professional, and no bull. We were in and out including test drive and finance paperwork in 2 hours. We'll definitely be coming back to Ryan and Prestige for our next Volvo purchase. Thank you to the entire team! read more

I came in literally off the street with no appointment and had the good fortune to be paired with Ryan. He helped us narrow down our options to help us get the car that we wanted in the color we loved at the price we needed. The team at Prestige was great in terms of making the financial part of the process transparent and simple. We drove off the lot with our CPO vehicle that same day. I would absolutely recommend working with Ryan and his team to connect you to the car you want. read more

We had a great experience at Prestige Volvo. Our sales consultant, Ryan, was excellent throughout the process. Highly recommend.

I bought a used Polestar 2 from Prestige Volvo. Ryan Entwistle was my guy throughout. Super knowledgeable about EVs, great communication, patiently answered my many questions (as a 1st time EV owner). He prepped me for the transaction before I came in so it was easy and quick to get through (although the dealership staff were so cool I could have hung out all day absorbing their knowledge and looking at the many other awesome cars). I couldn't recommend Ryan and Prestige more highly. Check them out if you're in the area (or even if not, I came up from DC!). read more

We recently purchased our second Volvo from Prestige, working with John Uly this time around. The process was smooth, painless, and efficient. We communicated the cars we were interested in prior to arriving, made some minor tweaks upon meeting John in person, and the cars were lined up waiting for us to decide. read more

The whole buying process with my sales consultant, Ryan Entwistle, and the Prestige Volvo team moreover was nothing short of an exceptional buying experience. As a car enthusiast, I hate the dealer runaround just as much as anyone else. However, Ryan is a bright and adept sales person, asking questions to figure out what was important to me, and what wasn't. He made paperwork a breeze, kept everything organized and on track, and I never felt that my time was wasted, or that I was under pressure to make a decision. Upon delivery, Walter helped with onboarding with the features of the vehicle, and the whole process was completed in about an hour. Thanks to the team over at Prestige Volvo for setting me up with my new EX30. read more

I was lucky to work with Ron Landstrom. He was the best. Prestige had a big inventory and great range of options. I found them online. Since they had the best selection I was shopping from out of state. Ron walked me through all of the details and took the time to do a live call and review of the car. I felt like I was there in person and couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. Thanks Ron! read more

He made sure I brought everything I needed ahead of time and was respectful of my schedule, ensuring I didn't spend more time at the dealership than necessary. Ryan Entwistle answered all of my questions promptly, even via text after work hours, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend working with Ryan if you're looking for an easy and efficient car-buying experience. read more

We just picked up our 6th lease from Prestige Volvo and had the best possible experience working with Ryan Entwiskte, who manages their Polestar line of cars. Ryan is highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the Polestar models, is detail oriented, operates with high integrity, and is generally an extremely nice person. Having leased a new car for myself and my wife every 3 years for the past 15 years, I can confidently say that Ryan provides the best car buying experience I've found in NJ. read more

We bought a 2019 Volvo XC40 (VIN: YV4162XZ6K20000...) from Prestige Volvo in East Hanover, NJ, trusting the Volvo name for safety and reliability. What we received was a lemon that nearly became a coffin for my family--three times. Within weeks of purchase, the vehicle began to shut down while in motion, displaying a false collision warning and cutting fuel to the engine. This terrifying malfunction occurred multiple times. The last incident happened on July 20, 2025, when the car stalled in live traffic on Route 4. My wife was forced to evacuate the disabled vehicle--a life-threatening situation in which she could have been struck by another car. Thanks to the swift response of the Paramus Police Department, she was not hit. Prestige Volvo's response was unacceptable. After a "free" software update, the problem reoccurred within four days. When we brought the car back, they attempted to charge us $750 for diagnostics, then offered to buy it back at a considerably lower price than what we had paid--despite the vehicle being nearly inoperable. Factoring in towing and other expenses, we took a significant financial loss, with no accountability on their part. Given the severity and frequency of the malfunction, it's hard to believe this issue wasn't present at the time of sale. This was a dangerously defective vehicle that should never have been sold. I'm writing this not out of frustration, but out of a sense of ethical duty. If I can help one family avoid this experience, it's worth it. Please think twice before trusting Prestige Volvo with your safety. read more

Cannot express how thankful I am for such a smooth process in purchasing my car. Ryan entenwistle was my salesman and had been working with me for over a week to find a car that would meet my growing family's needs. He was incredibly patient, kind, and informative in helping me navigate all the options. He was never pushy but always so professional and polite. He genuinely just wanted to make sure I found a car that would check all of my boxes. The rest of the staff from the receptionists to the finance manager, and even Romell who taught me how to use the app were so kind. Thank you to everyone at prestige Volvo! read more

Had a flawless experience buying a certified pre-owned "25 XC40 at Prestige Volvo - I'm based in Brooklyn, but it was well-worth coming into Jersey for the selection and the customer service. Ryan E. was awesome and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish, even doing his best to get ahead of any needs to ensure that my vehicle pickup was seamless when I came back for it. read more

Ryan gave us the absolute easiest, hassle free experience of all time. We were trying to take advantage of the EV tax credit and found a car we wanted on the other side of the country. Ryan was completely professional and finished the deal quickly and without any hitches. We know this is pretty rare because we bought a second car at the same time from another Volvo dealer (would have bought it from Ryan at Prestige if there had been a C40 available) and it was a hugely stressful bungled up mess. The difference was night and day. read more

Prestige Volvo has consistently performed well for us over the 21 years we've been dealing with them. They've serviced my '04 XC90 and my wife's '07 S80 right from original purchase, and we couldn't be happier with the results. After all those years, each car continues to handle superbly in terms of accelerating, braking, steering. Neither has ever required major repair, which speaks to build quality as well as quality and competence of Prestige's service dept. (Also, to be frank, our willingness as owners to adhere to Volvo's recommended servicing schedule.) We plan to keep the '07 for now but I just replaced my '04 XC90 at Prestige with a certified, pre-owned '22 model - and now have updated technology which wasn't available in 2004, including the all-important BLIS system which I believe was invented by Volvo, and their 360-degree view system among other safety features embedded in their cars. In fact, long ago we chose to become Volvo owners first because they've long been the leaders in safety - but also because their cars handle so well, are nice to look at stylistically, and because the interiors are so intelligently designed from both practical and aesthetic perspectives. All that said, what really motivated me to write this review was the quality of service I received from Ryan Wasik in sales at Prestige Volvo. He is a consummate professional in the way he approaches his job, first asking questions to determine what a client wants in a car, and then, in my case, what factors might complicate the transaction. I am a dual resident of Massachusetts and New Jersey, with MA as my primary, legal state of residence. Before I could ask him about potential problems living mostly in one state while purchasing a car in another, Ryan, anticipating the issues, began discussing them one by one - and ended by assuring me he'd done this before and that there were no insurmountable issues. He further assured me that I wouldn't need to involve myself in the nitty gritty details, but that he would personally make sure we ended up where we needed to be. (That turned out to be accurate. Amazingly, I don't think I spent 5 minutes on state to state paperwork or phone calls during the entire process.) After a nearly effortless transaction I took possession of the car, but not before Ryan showed me everything I needed to know about operating it, and worked with me in setting up climate, entertainment and communications systems. I found it all logical and intuitive, but mostly was highly impressed with Ryan's product knowledge. I chose to do this new auto purchase 300 miles away at Prestige - rather than locally near my main home in Massachusetts - because of my years of good experience with this dealer when we were full time NJ residents, and especially considering their rating in the top rank of Volvo service departments nationwide. (Prestige will service the car when we're in NJ each year.) To wrap up this review I'll say that Prestige Volvo is as professional, well-managed an organization today as I found it when a new client over 20 years ago. Highly recommended. read more

I'm not here to throw shade on anybody's business that's not definitely what we about or spread lies in any capacity , this business is very good when it comes to sales , when it comes to service not diligent at all , we purchased a Volvo xc 90 back in August , going November sent my wife for the service which she did afterwards she came back with a check engine light that won't turn off coming from dealer very own body shop service making buzzing sound and check engine on without even notifying what or why on the spot it happened oh I'm pissed off I'm about to have a heart attack but I'm disappointed in myself for always being busy and not being able to attend to this things myself, my only advice to people is this when buying a used vehicle from this dealer make sure you have a extra bucket of cash for waisting because it will be very much needed they aren't diligent at all or care wether or not circumstances involve any negligence on their part or not either way I am certain no one will ever be satisfied with this kind of business behavior and this the kind of conduct and negligence that promotes the downfall of other enterprises in the past, in reality I regret my choice in its entirety sincerely ‍ read more
