Michael located the exact vehicles we needed, coordinated the transfer from a sister store, and provided timely, pressure free communication throughout the process. He understood the requirements of a corporate purchase and made everything smooth and efficient. I highly recommend Michael Troutman and Nielsen Ford to both businesses and individual customers for their exceptional professionalism and outstanding customer service.

Cross-sharing my review- also shared on google…read more I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer service I have experienced at this Ford service department over the years. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident--it has become a repeated pattern. I have made numerous service appointments only to arrive and discover that the necessary parts were not available. I will take some responsibility for not always calling the day before to confirm, but I think it is reasonable for a customer to assume that when a dealership schedules a service appointment, they have verified that the necessary parts are available. Customers take time off work and rearrange their schedules based on these appointments. One particularly frustrating example was when I scheduled an appointment to have my windshield replaced. I arrived for the appointment only to discover that they did not have the windshield--and the third-party company that was supposed to perform the replacement was not even there. I was completely floored. I have discussed these issues multiple times with both the service department manager and the store manager. Rather than addressing the underlying customer-service problem, I have repeatedly been given explanations about how Ford is known for parts issues or how parts aren't made the way they used to be. I understand that parts availability can be outside of the dealership's control. What is NOT outside of their control is scheduling customers for appointments when the parts are unavailable and then failing to communicate that before the customer arrives. Unfortunately, I experienced the same issue again recently. This dealership had been repeatedly contacting me since July to schedule two recall repairs. After finally scheduling the appointment, I also initially added a 90,000-mile service. A week before the appointment, I called and specifically asked that the 90,000-mile service be canceled while keeping the recall appointment. I was told that it had been canceled. I called again on Monday to confirm the appointment and coordinate the pickup of my vehicle. I then discovered that the 90,000-mile service had NOT been canceled--and, even more frustratingly, they did not have the parts necessary to perform the recall repairs. At this point, I have unfortunately learned from past experiences that I need to ask questions that I should not have to ask: Do you actually have the parts? Is the technician available? Can you actually perform the service on the date you scheduled me for? If I had simply dropped my car off without asking, I would have wasted even more time because the dealership had scheduled an appointment for work they were not prepared to perform. What makes this even more disappointing is the complete lack of follow-up. After this most recent incident, I specifically requested calls from both the service manager and the store manager. It has now been a week, and I have heard from neither of them. Mistakes happen. Parts shortages happen. Delays happen. What is unacceptable is repeatedly scheduling customers for services that cannot be performed, failing to communicate that information, and then not following up when a customer raises a legitimate concern. If I did not have recalls that need to be addressed, I would not return to this location. After years of giving this dealership opportunities to improve and directly communicating my concerns to management, I am severely disappointed that the same problems continue.

RARELY do I give 5 stars, but this establishment deserves it…read more All I was looking for was a weekend warrior inexpensive used car, I was a bit concerned as the inventory seemed to be very high end. The first thing I liked was in the advertisement, they included the VIN to make researching the vehicle easier. I found countless dealerships selling used vehicles that had once been leased, smashed to pieces, bought from a salvage dealership and put back on the market after a spit & shine. When we called the number of the advertised vehicle off of CL, a lady told us what dealership to go to and they would "bring it out of stock". We got to CarLink, it was busy but we were well taken cared of. The employee we did business with was named Victor and I strongly recommend you go and ask for him. We bought the vehicle on the spot after a test drive and countless questions, (along with a little negotiation), when we brought the vehicle to our regular mechanic a few days later in Queens for a once over, he was deeply impressed with the quality of our purchase. Victor took care of all the registration, title, temp plates, everything in a timely and efficient manner. I am a real person, this is a real review, feel free to message me. If you're smart, you will communicate with CarLink in Morristown, NJ and ask for Victor.

Buyer Beware I would…read morestrongly recommend doing your research before buying a vehicle from this dealership. I have serious concerns about the history of the car lot at this location. According to the information I'm aware of, people who previously worked at the car lot were charged with fraud, and the business later changed its name. Because of that history, I would be extremely cautious and would not personally buy a vehicle from this dealership. Do your own research, check the vehicle history, carefully review all paperwork, and verify who you are doing business with before giving them any money.

A sincere thank you to Jackie and the Mavis Discount Tire…read moreteam I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Jackie and the mechanics at Mavis Discount Tire in Morristown for going above and beyond when I brought my car in to be serviced. My regular mechanic was on vacation, so I decided to bring the car to Mavis because I wanted to make sure everything was checked, especially after noticing a coolant leak and an issue with the temperature gauge. What they found was a leak involving the radiator. If I had continued driving the car without addressing the problem, it could have led to serious engine damage and potentially left me without a car. I'd had some bad experiences with Mavis at other company-owned and franchised locations. I'm knowledgeable enough about tires and auto repairs and have dealt with enough tire and automotive repair shops over the years to know when I'm being taken advantage of and upsold with a laundry list of 'urgent' repairs, but the crew at the Mavis Discount Tire in Morristown has won me over with their efficiency, honesty, and fair pricing. I recently bought tires for my SUV on the tire manufacturer's website and was able to book an appointment for installation at Mavis Discount Tire. The service at Mavis Discount Tire was efficient and straightforward. They honored my appointment, which isn't always a given, and got me back on the road in about 2 hours, which was pretty good for a Sunday morning. They didn't try to upsell me with any unnecessary add-ons. They gave me a fair price and a realistic timeline and actually stuck to both. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the waiting area could be improved with complementary beverages for customers and the bathroom was out of order, but I'm here for tires and basic auto repairs, not for bad coffee or to use the bathroom. I'll definitely be back next time I need tires or other auto repairs. PRO TIP: Walk down to Dunkin (59-61 Morris St) while waiting for your vehicle for tasty hot and iced beverages and fresh baked goods along with free WiFi and a functional bathroom.

These people are honestly unbelievable…read more I originally brought my Jeep in because the dashboard lost communication with the vehicle's computer, which caused the shifter to stop functioning. They supposedly "fixed" the issue by replacing the battery, along with doing nearly $3,000 worth of other work, including brakes and maintenance. Except... 15 DAYS LATER, THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. So I dropped the vehicle back off because, obviously, the problem they supposedly fixed clearly wasn't fixed. After TWO DAYS after dropping my car off, I called & texted them asking for a status. No one wanted to answer me so I drove myself over there. I'm told in person with no remorse, that no one has looked at it, no one has diagnosed it, and apparently it's because I did an emergency drop-off and didn't have an appointment. This makes a lot of sense. I'm supposed to make an appointment for a problem that your dealership already charged me nearly $3,000 to fix. If the original repair actually addressed the problem, I wouldn't be back here 15 days later with the exact same issue. And to make matters worse, they won't provide me with a loaner vehicle while they figure out why my car still isn't functioning properly. So, to recap: pay nearly $3,000, get the car back, have the SAME issue return 15 days later, bring it back, wait two days just to be told nobody has even looked at it, and then get told I should have made an appointment. Absolutely unacceptable customer service and an even more unacceptable way to handle a repair that clearly wasn't resolved the first time. At this point, "what a joke" doesn't even begin to cover it. I paid for a repair. I expect the problem to actually be repaired--not to pay thousands of dollars and then be treated like I'm inconveniencing them by bringing the car back when the problem returns.
