RARELY do I give 5 stars, but this establishment deserves it. All I was looking for was a weekend warrior inexpensive used car, I was a bit concerned as the inventory seemed to be very high end. The first thing I liked was in the advertisement, they included the VIN to make researching the vehicle easier. I found countless dealerships selling used vehicles that had once been leased, smashed to pieces, bought from a salvage dealership and put back on the market after a spit & shine. When we called the number of the advertised vehicle off of CL, a lady told us what dealership to go to and they would "bring it out of stock". We got to CarLink, it was busy but we were well taken cared of. The employee we did business with was named Victor and I strongly recommend you go and ask for him. We bought the vehicle on the spot after a test drive and countless questions, (along with a little negotiation), when we brought the vehicle to our regular mechanic a few days later in Queens for a once over, he was deeply impressed with the quality of our purchase. I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 from CARLINK and, within nine days of ownership, discovered several issues that I immediately brought to the dealership's attention. Because I wanted an unbiased opinion, I paid an independent repair shop to perform a thorough inspection of the truck. Based on that inspection, I brought my concerns back to the dealership. The passenger-side exhaust manifold is leaking badly enough that exhaust fumes enter the cab. I was told the ticking was "normal for a Ram" and that the general manager, Robert, said his personal truck does the same thing. While I knew the truck had a ticking noise when I bought it, I was never told that exhaust gases could enter the passenger compartment. I didn't think much of it because they told me it's a normal thing. I also reported rear wheel bearing noise, play in the front intermediate axle, and an intermittent issue where the infotainment screen goes black when shifting into reverse. I was told the wheel bearing noise was "normal for a used vehicle." The only repair the dealership agreed to make was replacing two broken exhaust hangers at the rear of the truck. I paid full market price for this truck. I wasn't looking for a discount, and I wasn't expecting a perfect used vehicle. In fact, this was the first used vehicle I've ever purchased from a dealership because I believed buying from a dealer would give me more confidence than buying from a private seller. Instead, after paying for an independent inspection and reporting these concerns within nine days of purchase, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. I expected a dealership to stand behind a vehicle when multiple mechanical issues including what I believe is a safety concern involving exhaust fumes entering the cab, were identified almost immediately after the sale. I gave CARLINK (Robert) every opportunity to make this right. If they choose to address these concerns, I will gladly update this review to reflect that. read more

Don't like the way they do business. Went to see a car but Robert wouldn't let us test drive until we agreed on a price. The price at the dealership was different than the price online. They try to manipulate you into agreeing on purchasing a car before you can test drive and gave some asinine excuse that every time the car is test driven, they need to detail the vehicle again. I love the way the car drives very clean under the hood everything was brand new no smell in the car of smoke or anything. Very fast car as well. Its a little smaller than my subaru but handles well. This dealership falsely advertises that it works with all types of credit. They'll reply with some nonsense about the down payment changing. That's not what happened. Ashton the "Internet Sales" clerk responded to me that no car in the dealership was available to me. That's prima facia evidence that they absolutely do not work with all types of credit. That would be accurate wasting a prospects time was "working" with their "credit." Moreover, the scam takes special forms if you happen to be disabled or receive Social Security. Being in Social Security or being disabled is a bar to their alleged flexible credit terms. The place takes advantage of people on disability. Something else they'll "work" you with. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Where to start? Don't bother making an appointment here. They'll sell the car you are interested in to someone else as you are ON YOUR WAY to the dealership. That's right. I was half-way there on a Friday in insane traffic. Yet, they sent me TWO e-mails and TWO texts to reconfirm my appointment the days before and I replied YES to all. I left my job an hour early cuz it's an hour drive for me to get there. My hubby got there an hour before me cuz he knows if we were to buy it's a long process so he wanted to get things started before I get there. We even brought the extra key to my car and the Title we were gonna trade it in with, that's how prepared we were to buy. So, my hubby shows up and to his surprise the car we are interested in an older couple just pulled up from the test drive AND proceeded to start the paperwork. So, my husband sent me a text and informs me not to rush there. This place does not care about customers!!!! It's strictly JUST a business for them to make that commission and whoever gets there first gets the car. Oh, they'll hound you alright with texts and e-mails to confirm an appointment, BUT fail to reach out to let you know that the car you are interested in is about to be SOLD and give you a heads-up. And to add insult to injury, the "manager" Victor, tells my husband if he still wants to test drive the car. Are you kidding me??? And he made it seem like we are just getting upset over nothing. So, in other words, Victor wanted us to just hang around until the keys were handed over to the other couple right under our nose to let us know it's SOLD. Wow! We have bought multiple cars from other dealerships before where they didn't go ahead and sell it as we were on our way there. That's disgusting business. It was a good experience until getting my vehicle home. Upon pulling my $40k truck into my garage I noticed what appeared to be a film on my truck. I rubbed my hand over the truck and to my surprise, there was over spray covering the ENTIRE vehicle. And some very bad body work on the rear of the truck that wasn't noticeable in the sunlight. The LED lights in my garage showed it all off.. NOW I don't know about you, but I never run my hands over a freshly cleaned vehicle - it's bad for the paint!! Upon calling the dealer and speaking to my salesmen, I was told that they're a "used car facilitator" NOT A DEALER. And unable to mediate something like this. Something like this should've been taken care of before a sale. I was under the impression when I chose to do business with this facilitator, they were above typical dealership practices. Nope. You sign, they want nothing to do with you. Now this establishment will not remove this overspray from my vehicle and am left to fit the expense of having it clay barred to correct the paint. Consider running your hands all over their cars before purchasing. Not happy and would not recommend. Edit: sub-par response that the vehicles are sold as-is. Again.. how often does anyone run their hand across a freshly cleaned car? Hmm?? No one. I suggest running your hands over every single car in this lot before you even consider test driving anything. BUYERS BEWARE! Very Shady business! My Grandfather just made the mistake of purchasing a Car from these crooks. After bringing the Car to a local & trusted mechanic several issues we're brought to Carlink's attention. My Grandfather was re-assured that all issues would be fixed. After finally purchasing the vehicle and several issues later it turns out they never changed the fluids, brakes are still an issue, one of the tires replaced on the Car had a huge tear in the bead and some sort of glue/cement was used to keep the bead ( tire went flat a day after buying it). Carlink also sold the Car with a recall notice on it for a defective airbag, turns out they used a Carfax report from the previous year which never reflected the Airbag issue. My Grandfather went to return the vehicle days later to Carlink, Upon arrivng at Carlink They treated the my Grandfather's Car like a fresh trade-in, offered him half of what he paid days ago and ran a fresh Carfax report which showed a recall notice. My Grandfather was told by Carlink that " This vehicle should never have been sold in the first place! and there is no way we can buy this vehicle back from you" I've had dealing with Car Dealerships like this before, These people are you typical low rent scam artist scumbag dollar hungry Car Salesmen who take absolutely no pride and offer no integrity in their work. I bought a used vehicle from CarLink in August 2023, which I had shipped to me. The vehicle still smells like an ashtray, despite me asking if there were any smoke odors in the car prior to purchase. I've steam-cleaned and deodorized it twice and the smell is engrained in the car. I had asked about any engine leaks or oil spots, or other issues with the car to which the salesman, Hali Garcia ensured me there were none. CarLink's claim is that "each car is gone over and thoroughly inspected" and a "family business". I took the car to get inspected and learned that to pass inspection it needs new brakes, a new valve cover gasket and PCV valve, and a tie rod. When I contacted Mr. Garcia and informed him of these issues to ask for CarLink to help make this right, I basically got a "too bad" response and verbatim comments from him were "the warranty wouldn't have covered those items anyway"; "it's not catastrophic"; and "it doesn't matter what you 'feel'". Thankfully I have the email chain to support everything in this review. $2,000 in repairs just to pass inspection is bad business. DO NOT buy a car from this dealer or trust Hali Garcia or you will get burned and totally misled. I'm not sure how these guys sleep at night. read more

I feel taken advantage of. I was never told the car I purchased had been a rental. Apparently that's a problem when you go to insure it. Of course I didn't find that out until it was too late to take it back. I HAD asked if there was a carfax... If there were any accidents... The salesman showed me the Carfax on the computer screen that said it had no accidents. Why would he NOT be upfront and say that it was previously a rental? He's in the car business. There is no way he wouldn't know that THAT fact might be an issue. The program that lead me to view the car (the Buyers Edge) tried to mediate but there was nothing to do. We put $1000 into this car after we bought it over priced to get new brakes new struts in a coil which fell out from the bottom of the car. After multiple calls they have now gotten a lawyer against me despite I'm working with the bank. To top it off my son took the car to Florida and it's a lemon.
