Can't say enough about this business. Beyond outstanding…read more My husband is employed in fire and safety at a huge race venue. He is always on the look out for honest, reliable, people whose passion is motor sports and own auto and RV repair companies. Boy did he hit the mother lode working in this industry. After the shop we usually used for RV repairs went out of business, he was referred to D&R by a friend at the track, who received his referral from a race team owner. We made an appointment, and were greeted by Victor. He really took the time to look at our concerns. No rush, with clip board in hand documented every one of our RV concerns. Asked us if we any upcoming trips and what kind of time line we were looking at for completion of repairs. We were in no particular hurry. But did say we would like to pick it up in about 3 weeks. We needed brakes all around and a couple of new airbags, along with a few much more minor repairs. Work was completed earlier than we thought and were thoroughly pleased with the motorhome. Prices were very reasonable and we feel very confident in the work that was completed. We returned the RV for more work several months later. This time we had the pleasure of working with Daisy, again clip board in hand, documenting all of our concerns. We had a bouncy floor near slide out. (Water damage?). We also had an engine check light that kept coming on randomly. When we purchased RV used (from a race car owner/friend), he told us this was an ongoing issue. He told us he had taken the RV in for this several times when he owned it. Never could pinpoint the cause. Said everything checked out motor-wise. Rafael & Daisy, the owners of D&R, sat us down and talked to us about what could be wrong initially. Squishy floor could be water damage, could entail slide removal ($$$$). Total mystery why engine check light keeps coming on until further investigation ($$$$). We left there sorta feeling sick to stomach. Glad we were braced for worst case scenarios. Picked up RV couple weeks later. Squishy floor was simply the floor board in that area had become slightly warped. All was needed is lifting tile and screwing that layer back down. No water leak or damage. You could not even tell the tile had been lifted. I'm really finicky & absolutely no signs of repair. No bounce. Showed us pics of repair work. Wowed! Engine check light concern was addressed. Engine components were checked out. Everything was working properly. Rafael told us we could spend thousands to get the light to go out but he thought it would be a waste of money. In his experience, he has seen this type of issue happen, owners spent thousands on new computer, etc. only to be, simply, a faulty relay switch. Told me to turn on engine but to wait to start motor. I was not doing that. Could be motor/computer communication issue. I'm happy with this. Have used this rig and have seen no performance issues. When we have visited this shop, we are always greeted warmly. Daisy & Rafael are a true pleasure to hand our money over to because we know their work is quality and complete. Sure owning a motorhome is not a cheap form of recreation but it's sure the best when everything is working properly. Thanks everyone at D&R!

J Ledlow Automotive shop & Mobile RV repair - Jimmy fixing my cable

PLEASE BE AWARE!!!! ZERO STARS…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with JL Automotive and Mobile RV Repair. On June 12th, Jimmy came to diagnose and attempt to repair the AC on my RV trailer. He charged me $369.53, which was acceptable. It turned out that I needed a new AC unit. Jimmy was very friendly and made it seem like he had my best interests at heart, which was unfortunately not the case. On June 19th, Jimmy took a deposit of $1,340.35 for a new AC unit and promised to have it installed the next day or the day after. However, it soon became very difficult to get a hold of him. When I did reach him, he made excuses about needing to clean out his storage and move his trucks. After that, I didn't hear from him for a week despite multiple calls and texts. I eventually had to threaten to inform the police to get a response. Jimmy's wife then texted me from his phone, claiming he was in jail, which seemed suspicious. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but still received no response. After more threats of involving the police and my lawyer, he finally replied, saying he was in court. I tried to work with him again, which was a mistake. Another week went by without any communication despite numerous attempts to contact him. At this point, I had enough. I informed him that this was my final straw. He responded with a sob story and suggested I do what I needed to do as he would walk away from the job. Foolishly, I gave him another chance because I desperately needed my AC installed and had already paid. I even offered to pick up the unit and pay the parts dealer the balance, asking him only to install it. He refused with another excuse and stopped responding again. I finally decided to take my business elsewhere and informed Jimmy that he would be hearing from the police and my lawyer. His final reply was that he had woken up late because it was his birthday, which infuriated me as it seemed he had used my money to go out and party. I eventually had my AC installed by another company, who informed me that Jimmy had a reputation for taking deposits and disappearing with the money. I also learned from parts dealers that Jimmy is known to be very shady. I wish I had known this beforehand. I hope this review prevents others from experiencing the same ordeal. Jimmy is a terrible person and it is sickening that he is able to run a business. I will do everything in my power to ensure he doesn't do this to anyone else. I have all receipts, messages, and call logs to back up my claims. (Many more call logs, too many to post) (Yelp won't let me post photos in chronological order. Please see google review if needed)

The only thing good was they asked to bring it back but it should have been fixed the first time around Update* In response to the owners review, your response and or repair method don't add up, the owner wanted me to paint the whole car for a small scratch on the corner? Then what is the technique blending? I don't know many people out there will paint a whole car (minus door hood and trunk if you want to be technical) for a small scratch on the corner Now if you said spot painting will make blends visible then why the top portion of the cobra the blend is not visible and only the bottom? The reason I posted this now is because the cobra got scratched again (same area) the collision center (a good shop) repaired it and I can't see any mismatch in color, Again I'm not sure if you guys overlooked, but the top of cobra is correct with good blending the bottom doesn't show blending at all.
