Desperately needed to get my nails done and stumbled onto this salon. Was greeted immediately and sat promptly at station 11. Came in for a dip powder manicure. The salon appeared clean and tidy. I'm not usually a fan of salons that make me soak my nails in warm acetone. It's just so harsh on my skin, so I was a little skeptical. I prefer the soaked cotton balls and foil method. It was still better than the peeling off method I've seen- yikes! I saw on reviews they have drinks available, like water, sodas and margaritas. I wasn't offered one. Maybe you're suppose to ask? Once it got down to it, my tech was very meticulous and really gentle with my nails. No flicking, tugging or pulling my fingers. She was very cautious with the electric drill and didn't cut me! (Big plus!) She listened to what I wanted and I'm happy with the shape and color. Afterwards, she gave me a brief massage. There is a 3% charge for debit and credit payments. May want to grab cash before going to save some money. My dip mani cost $45. Would say it's reasonable, especially for such a job well done. read more

What I asked for vs what I got was not the same. My pedicure was so painful. Then He ripped off my pointer finger nail when taking old nails off, bled even and of course is still sore. He was very rough all around. And while the look of the nails are ok, not the worst design. They aren't what I asked for and They are not filed good either, sloppy hearts even. Everything was painful and less than good today. AND it was $166.86 for my pedi and nails!!! So high priced in general much less when things were so bad for my service today. Oh and part of my shellac toenail polish came off while walking around my house 8 hours later. He didn't even put a top coat on it apparently. Never going back for sure. Should have asked for my money back or not to have to pay so much even but I really was trying to be understanding. read more

4 of us came to eat in Odessa so we all decided to stop and have pedicures. I will just stick to Midland. They were not even able to paint our nails smoothly. They honestly look like my youngest daughter had painted them for us. I asked them to correct them twice, nicely, and they rolled their eyes and just added 3 more coats on top of the two I already had. I will NOT be returning. read more

Unique is now my go-to nail salon in the area. Customer service is still great. Becky who I think is the manager is super friendly & caring and knows how to properly run a nail salon! Henry was my first nail tech and did great- even greater with pedicures (and so is magic Mike haha)! Lily is my go-to for powder or dip. She pays attention to detail and really cares that I am happy with the shape. Very talented and friendly folks, I would definitely recommend. Went for a mother/daughter pedi day with my mom and sisters while I was in town visiting. They got us in fast, the place was nice and clean but the techs need some work. They rushed through my milk and honey pedi and did a terrible job painting, it was all over my skin. They had to get someone else to redo and the next person did a so so job. I still have paint on my skin and she actually had to go in and do work that the previous tech missed. They were nice but for the work given with the price you pay, I don't think I will be going back. Update: I had to come and take a couple stars away.. all of our polish is coming off the very next day! And I forgot to add, they had us leave the salon wearing those little foam shoes. I've been getting my nails done at this salon for years but i will never be going back. I usually get long detailed nails and never pay over $65 for them, i went in yesterday to get my nails done i got them short in hopes of saving some money but they were $72!! More than i've ever paid before and i am just appalled these are the worst nails i've gotten from them they're bumpy have air bubbles the tips were put on crooked and the tips of my nails aren't even painted. I asked them why the price was so high because i've never paid that much for my nails and i was told their prices went up mind you i've never seen their prices anywhere in that salon. They have different packewwawages for there pedicure I got the basic but definitely next time getting the milk and honey. There a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I come to Odessa a few times a year and always go here. I love the atmosphere. And that they offer fancy pedicures. With a glass of wine. I always tip good and help the business by taking a lot of pics. And always get a fancy pedicure which can cost as much as $70. And then do shilac polish on my nails. This time I wanted a fancy design with my fancy pedi. Bad idea! So I decided to do my ring finger with all rhinestone. As he's doing. They didn't have many sizes of rhinestones or many colors. And I explained to the guy how people have done the all rhinestone nails before and they fell off. He said his wouldn't. I also told him I don't like when they put clear coat over the rhinestones. And of course he didn't listen and did it anyways. Smh. My thumbs I had rhinestones around the edge. After leaving the shop and putting my thumbs together I realized one thumb was oval and one was squared. Came back the next day. They got me right in and fixed it. So I decided to change the design to chevron, which just means zig zag design. Instead of free handing it they put stickers on my nails. Never seen that at a professional nail shop. They looked cute so I figured I'd give it a try. 3rd day after doing my all rhinestone design. 3 came off. I came in a 3rd time to have them glue 3 more back on. Of course they said sit and we'll be right with you. I sat and waited and waited and waited. Now I went from happy to pissed! As I waited for so long I really got to looking at my nails and noticed my chevron design was lifting a lil bit. As I'm sitting there I'm thinking. Um it was your fault why I'm here and you can't take 2 min to glue a few on! By that time I was so pissed I walked out and left. So if your getting regular shilac you will be fine. But I wouldn't recommend any designs. They obviously don't know what there doing. I was a good out of towner customer. But after the experience and the way they treated me when I came back the 3rd time. Like I was a problem. Oh yea and charged me to fix there mess up. Wow! I will never spend another dollar in there shop!!! Good luck! Hope they treat you better. read more

Becky helped me out when I wanted an extra top coat on my hands and she did it with a smile! Very good place. Everyone there is very nice and gives you what you want. My guy actually cut my cuticles which is normal but no one ive ever went to has done that. So that was nice. He did really nice doing the picture i found on pinterest. I really love my nails. I wont give 5 stars only because him and the lady doing my friends took a long time. It took 50 minutes for mine but since its ombre i understood. However, whoever did my friends basic pedi took 30 mins. And her nail tech took another 50 just for dip. No acrylics or overlay. I came today and had Jenny and Lily. Jenny did an amazing pedicure. I really enjoyed it. I don't get polish but they still look and feel amazing! Thank you! Lily did my manicure while I got my pedicure. It was pretty good but there was still some skin left I would have preferred cleaned up. She would have cleaned it up if I realized while I was there but I didn't look closely until after I already left. The cause could have been the lighting or that they chatted the whole time I was being serviced by both if them. It's easier to relax for me with less chatting. I prefer a quiet relaxing environment. It wasn't bad. Just not the experience I prefer. It doesn't bother me enough to not go back. I'd definitely go again. It still was a really good experience and I can finish it up when I get home and I will most likely go back with my girls later. I'm just sharing my experience. I'd definitely give this place a try. Honestly, the best manicure I've ever received in my entire life! Everyone was friendly, and the service was amazing.

I'm torn between 2 and 3. My pedicure was fine, nothing earth shattering but no complaints. My manicure looks pretty terrible. Admittedly, I have "crappy" nails so I just asked her to file them short. Here's my beef: 1. They're not even. Some are square, some oval, some squoval. 2. She didn't push my cuticles back nearly far enough. Like, hardly any pressure at all. 3. She went to town trimming my skin. Not the cuticles, my finger tips etc. I flinched a few times because it hurt. Then, she took a good-sized chunk out of my thumb. I yelped. It hurts like hell. 4. The paint job is sloppy at the cuticles, probably because they weren't properly pushed back or trimmed, and thick in other areas. She kept touching my already painted as she moved along to the next finger so used more and more and more polish to fill in the dings. The reason I'm not doing 2 stars: it could be an isolated incident. The place was clean, I was greeted when I entered and the pricing was reasonable. read more

My husband and I came here for the first time for our anniversary. We were greeted promptly and were taken back immediately. Linda did my pedicure and she was fantastic!!! I have had knee replacement surgery so I have some pretty vivid scars on my legs. She asked me if they were tender. I told absolutely not and my favorite part of a pedicure was the leg and foot massage. She did not hold back. It was the best massage I have ever experienced. I honestly hate writing this because I used to LOVE unique nails, I've gone for 4 years and it's always been my go to. I honestly hope this review is helpful! The quality of the work at this salon has just kind of gone downhill in recent years. They used to all take their time and pamper you and truly do careful, great work. Unfortunately, the last year or so I've gone - the quality just isn't there. Sloppy mistakes are made, things chip quickly that shouldn't, I even had half my nail top coated and the other half not top coated at my last visit. They take there time and make sure they get things right. they dont try to rush you out the door just to get another customer ( i have seen a lot of that here). Everyone is super nice and make you welcomed. The pedicures are amazing they removed all my ingrowns which most places do not anymore. And an awsome message to boot.
