The salon is clean. All the tools are being put in the hospital pouch. The table is clean and has sanitizer. All the tools are being taken away after each customer. The salon has good calming music, not too loud. The salon has a great selection of colors. I almost changed my mind couple times while looking at the color book. The price is very reasonable. Walking in to the high scale looking type of salon, I expected to pay a lot more but I only paid $55 for my gel mani with two designs and my toes polish changed with gel. Highly recommend!

In 60 years, I've never had a pedicure. But, on a whim, my wife and I walked in to Midland Nails &…read moreSpa on Friday morning. We got a chair right away and they were working on us within 15 minutes. We each chose one of the more expensive treatments - mine was aloe vera-based and the better half's was ginger -based. Both treatments included paraffin soaks and covered everything up to the knee. The young lady who took care of my long-neglected feet was energetic, friendly (but not intrusive), and did an excellent job. The massage chairs worked us over, my feet look better than they have in years, and we both decided to indulge in this on a regular basis. It's a little costly, we were there getting worked on for about an hour. And, in a piece of refreshing honesty, I was paying for both of us with new $50 bills and two got stuck together. As we were getting into the car, the young lady who worked on me ran at and stopped me, telling me what had happened and giving me my extra $50 back. This was an excellent experience overall.

I went today to get my nails done and it started out okay. I was a walk in and they sat me…read moreimmediately! I loved that. I showed the tech the color inspo, nail art(I never do nail art), and the shape from my personal photos. I said I wanted my square nails to be a bit rounder than they were in the photos. I believe the tech's name was Sam, started working and she started cutting them down. From the pinky nail the length looked great, so I said to go on. We got to maybe the end of my first hand and I wasn't a huge fan and before I could do more, she started cutting the other hand. When I examined I said, "they are a bit shorter than I was expecting, but I may be able to make them work." Trying to be okay with it, and her response was very abrupt and said, "you should've said you didn't like them before I began." I was uncomfortable and tried to assure her I'd make it work. I put in an AirPod and grabbed my kindle to read so that I could just calm down. She starts the nail polish and the little design. I'll post it below. The design is a trident and she did it upside down at first. I said something about how I wanted it a different way, BEFORE she put the top coat on and she looked at me and said yet again, "you should have told me before I started." I guess in my head it's common sense I'd want the design facing up not towards me. She finished, I paid & tipped even though I though she was unkind and didn't listen to what I wanted, and left. I got in my car and bawled. They did not look how I wanted, AND she was snippy with me twice. I got home and had my husband call to see if we could get a soak off and refund because i was so unhappy. I had him call because hours later i was still really upset. My husband called and I couldn't hear what was happening but my husband was trying to say I felt I had to be agreeable due to the reactions of the tech. I asked him to hand me the phone & I explained everything that happened and how I did agree because I was snapped at. They said I could come back and they'd refund and do a soak off(that's important to know). I got there before the time they asked me to come(6:45 is when I got there. 7 is when they asked me to come back.) I was not late, and they said when I got there, "we can cut the tips off and refund you, or you can soak off and pay $15." So in other words if I wanted everything off they'd rescind my refund. So I took the option I'm assuming they didn't want me to take, and now I'm refunded & have no top tips on my nails. I'm frustrated with the lack of accountability and that I am the issue because I didn't speak up, even though I did and was snapped at. Anyway here's the photos of what my nails looked like after they were done & when they only cut the tips off so I could get a full refund.
