Sam basically said I was lying and it was my fault for the peeling on 4 of my nails each time I went. I got a French tip both times in the last 10 days using a base dip and schlac on top and it was faulty. I have been going here on and off for 13 years. She said I have never seen you before. Several of them were yelling at each other. There is no telling what they were saying. I will never go back there again! Jade never showed up! read more

Always quick, affordable and friendly! Having trouble with ingrown toenails? Come here and they will fix you up!

I'll start with the good: the facility was clean and they used plastic covers over the foot tubs. It was busy and I was offered a bottled water. Unfortunately, this was a very poor shellac pedicure experience. I could tell before leaving that my nails were uneven with unclean edges. Almost every nail had bubbles in the polish or grooves where something hit the polish before it dried (the tech's finger, edge of the light, etc). The tech seemed to be having a hard time, so maybe he was new. When I asked if he could redo a few of the nails, he agreed. However, the owner (maybe?) intervened and said they would only fix it for a fee. She didn't even look at my nails before saying so! I was so surprised. I think she was just ushering me out because they were busy. This occurred one day before leaving for vacation and by the time I stepped off the plane (a 4-hour ride to Mexico and less than 24hrs later), one of the polishes had already come off my nail. I've never had that happen with a pedicure before, shellac or not. That they wouldn't fix a job done poorly is very disappointing. read more

Seen this place on the way to toys r us... walked in and svc was pretty quick with a packed house... The lady that greeted us at the door was VERY nice... the lady who painted my daughters nails was also very nice... The store should get a 5 star, but i gave a 3 star becase i paid $35 for a pedi and dont get me wrong it was good.. but the nail tech didnt clean my polish off the tips of my toes, and idk if he cut or filed my nails all uneven, nor did he paint my whole nail... its like theres a border around some nails. read more

I've been going here for over 10 years... & I will never ever go back. I went in this past time and was treated AWFUL. The specific person I'm talking about is either the Owner or Manager. She was frustrated/stressed because the salon was busy (Friday night) She yanked on my fingers & wrist aggressively, she yelled at an employee in front of everyone, she complained about doing my nails the entire time, & she made ME apologize to the people waiting because SHE was behind. Completely unprofessional, rude, & inconsiderate. Definitely NOT a place to go to if you want some relaxing "me" time. I refuse to go back & support a place that treats customers & workers this way. Pathetic. read more

Awesome nail salon!!! I'm new to Midland, and after trying 3 other nail salons in the area this is absolutely the best!!! Jade (owner) is absolutely fantastic at what she does .... but I'd venture to say that no matter who does your nails there, you will be very satisfied! It's very clean, & they use the plastic bags to line the bowls of the pedicure chairs ..... The pedicure chairs!!!! They have brand new pedicure chairs & they are wonderful. Staff are very friendly, very welcoming... and everyone speaks English clearly. Prices are compatible with other nail salons. They will even serve you up an adult beverage if you are so inclined!! I highly recommend This place!! read more

I went in last week, 3-3-22 asking for black and grey the young man rushes through my fingernails after a much enjoyed pedi (same guy) I paid $127 and gave him a $5 tip just for my nails to peel. I called and they say come in-today they want to blame me because he lost his next customer. Um not my problem. Good quality gets you customers that continues to visit. I got my nails fixed after my fit; I paid for the shit I had already sorry if someone was listening You were good til you all jump on me AND I hope some of the young girls left and the other lady I told mine bubbled read more

I went to get my nails done here and I have gone several times in the past, they usually do a good job. Today I had a guy named Peter. He complied with my request but rushed through my nails. He didn't clean the nail bed, or cut my cuticles for a clean overall look. Do they even do that anymore? Is there a place that takes pride in the quality of their work? Because THIS PLACE ISNT IT! The pattern is uneven and I'm not happy with the overall look. I wanted French almond and I got crooked French idk what. I had long natural nails and he cut them off. I asked for tips and dip and he wanted to apply acrylic. No thank you. I got the dip I wanted and asked that my toes match in color. Did that happen? NO. So I have pinkish nude fingers and bare naked toes with white lines on them. I could've done this at home and for what I paid I should've complained and stayed longer. I don't have all day to sit there and wait for them to get it right when they should've got it right the first time. What's the point is having pics and showing them if they can't do it? Just say that. I was there for almost 3 hours. And let's not even talk about how they charge for every little thing. So because he cut all my nails off and I needed a set, I got charged for that. Ok, understandable. But I asked for French tip so that was an additional $15? So if I didn't ask for a design I was just going to have plastic tips on my fingers? My toes look so bad, but that was $35 plus $15 because I asked for a French tip? After looking at the price,'I tried to see what the breakdown was and Peter kept exiting the screen so I couldn't see the charges. I honestly don't even know why I paid anything. I will never go back there and tell my friends that go there to go somewhere else. It was a terrible experience. read more

Update. I didn't get a back massage while I dried. Big mistake. HUGE (dramatic Pretty Woman walk out) Big tip gone and positive review edited!! Great nail salon I found while in town for work. The atmosphere is nice and there is an intentional focus on cleanliness, even the pedicure buckets are bagged for each use. I am getting a shellac manicure and the paraffin pedicure. It has been wonderful so far. The space is definitely big enough for a girl's pampering day but make an appointment if you have more than three people because it is a popular place. Also happy to report that they give complimentary neck rubs while your toes dry. My only complaint is the the constant effort to upsell you on additional services. read more

I went in for a pedicure, a gel pedicure which is $55.00. LAN screwed it up. She didn't bother to file the nails correctly. The big toe on one foot was filed so poorly that it was at an angle and all jagged. I went back after discovering this huge problem and they looked at me like I was crazy. A woman with an enormous attitude took a file to it making it even SHORTER than it was and now the nails are different lengths! I asked her to put the color back on the damaged nail and seal it and she said that I was fine and walked away. Are you kidding me! I'll never go back. These people have SUCH attitude. There is a nail store on every corner, they need to be aware of that! I even spoke with the owner. The could care less. read more

I loved my pedicure with Jenny! She was very gentle and detail oriented. Very pleased with her relaxing service!

This place needs to SHUT UP ABOUT SHELLAC!!! I DO NOT WANT SHELLAC. They are mean and racist!! I went there on my birthday and told them I just wanted acrylic and no shellac. She kept showing me the book with shellac colors and Told me to compare. Once I was adamant about not wanting shellac, they paid less attention to me and were rude. The lady who did my nails and my wax was careless and insulted me. I'm guessing they thought I was cheap but I still ended up spending $140 there! My cuticles were bleeding when I got to my car. I went inside to tell them and she laughed, wiped it off, tapped my hand and said "happy birthday". She was way way too rough, and when I told her to take it easy, so asked if I've ever gotten my nails done before. Been getting my nails done for 20 years now. They've never bled like that before. DO NOT GET WAXED HERE. She was rough and did a terrible job. Now both my eyebrows are uneven and I have to grow them out to get them reshaped. What terrible service. read more

In 60 years, I've never had a pedicure. But, on a whim, my wife and I walked in to Midland Nails & Spa on Friday morning. We got a chair right away and they were working on us within 15 minutes. We each chose one of the more expensive treatments - mine was aloe vera-based and the better half's was ginger -based. Both treatments included paraffin soaks and covered everything up to the knee. The young lady who took care of my long-neglected feet was energetic, friendly (but not intrusive), and did an excellent job. The massage chairs worked us over, my feet look better than they have in years, and we both decided to indulge in this on a regular basis. It's a little costly, we were there getting worked on for about an hour. And, in a piece of refreshing honesty, I was paying for both of us with new $50 bills and two got stuck together. As we were getting into the car, the young lady who worked on me ran at and stopped me, telling me what had happened and giving me my extra $50 back. This was an excellent experience overall. read more

It took me a long time to find a salon that I loved when I first came to this area. After trying every salon that anyone referred me to, I kept coming back here! The only reason I didn't stay the first round was because they had a limited selection of dip colors, and I mentioned it to them as well. The next several times I came in I noticed their collection of colors just kept growing! So ask and you shall receive!! All of their chairs and tables are brand new, the staff is friendly, the salon is always clean and my nails always look great when I leave! Lately Randy has been doing my nails and I would recommend this karaoke loving party animal to the next lady too!! Give them a try, trust me, good nails are hard to come by in this town!! read more

I have gone to quite a few places to get my nails done ever since I moved here about 3 years ago and this one was awesome! I wish I got they're names but the guy who did my pedicure did an amazing job. He was very nice and I felt so relaxed and he actually took his time. I didn't feel rushed at all. When I was done with my pedicure I got my nails done and the lady that did them was so nice and funny and did a great job! I wanted a certain design and she told me she didn't know how to do it and didn't want to mess it up and got another girl to paint on the design. I loved how she was so honest with me. My nails came out amazing and exactly how I wanted! I would definitely go back. The staff is so nice every single one of them! read more

4 of my nails broke in less than a week and all the others were lifting. They offered to fix them but this was my second attempt and both ended with me having messed up nails. What a rip-off. Went here with a friend and got a basic manicure. Nothing fancy, just a simple manicure. My friend was getting an acrylic set. The lady was rude, short, and did my manicure as fast as she possibly could because she seemed pissed off I didn't want Shellac or Powder or a set of fake nails. Her English was terrible and couldn't understand anything I asked her to do... my nails are so badly damaged from consistent years of wearing shellac and powder dips that they are paper thin and hurt. I'm trying to grow them out healthy again and I wanted her to use a ridge-filling base coat to help hide my damaged nail-bed or use something like an OPI Nail Envy nail strengthener... she just kept telling me to go "pick a color"... most frustrating I didn't want a color! I was done in less than 10 minutes and my nails STILL HAD DIRT under them! my cuticles looked terrible and it was a waste of time and money. Never going back there. They never cared to ask me if I liked my nails, they were too busy playing on their phones. The place was not busy and I was rushed through my manicure for no reason. NEVER again. Waste of $15. read more

I hate wearing a mask as much as anyone else but still do so as a protection for others around me. As I understand it, mask are required while inside all businesses in midland. Not so at midland nail salon. I was seated next to a chair for a pedicure (which was not 6' apart) beside a lady with no mask. There was also a lady having her nails done that didn't have a mask on. I said something to management but they didn't seem to care. I won't go there again since they feel the safety of others isn't important. I recommend others avoid this Salon fir their own protection!! read more

Can I just say... this salon is by far the best I've been to in Midland. I've been to others and it was okay. Jack did my pedicure. He's friendly and was very sweet. The only one who can take my ingrown out without making me cry. The massage was very good. The atmosphere of the salon was very comforting and beautiful. I don't think they knew I was Vietnamese. Even though they did spoke Vietnamese amongst each other they never spoke ill.We got there an hr before closing. Didn't rush us into picking a polish or type of pedicure. Offered us a drink and had a good conversation. Pedicure was not rushed and you can tell he cared. As a nail tech myself, I highly recommend this salon. Well definitely come back again. Thankyou for the great service. read more

I love this place. Hong is my favorite! I love her! She takes great care of me. My nails look fabulous and she doe such a great job.

In the past I gave a five star rating. I have been going to Lily for over two years and she's been amazing. I went to my appointment last week and Jade came over to talk to me. She told me (in whispered tones) that Lily and Tom were off sick and so she was going to do my nails. I figured that was fine and I got my mani and pedi done and left. Later that night I received a Messenger message from Lily. I told her that I hoped her and her husband would be feeling well soon. She then told me that they were fine but that they'd left Midland Nail and Spa a couple weeks before. I'm so disappointed that Jade would outright lie to me about them leaving. Lily and Tom are now at Collagen Spa and Nails 432-684-9999. read more

Thought I'd try this place for a pedi. Glad I did. They seemed really busy, but they were very nice and welcoming from the second I walked in. I thought I'd be waiting a while before they got me in, but I was sitting in a chair with my feet in the water within 5 minutes. They did an awesome job, didn't cut any corners, didn't rush, have a huge variety of pedicures and other services. I'll definitely be back! read more

I went in to take my acrylic nails off and get acrylic overlay and shellac put back on. The girl who did them was in the first station to the left when you walk in. She was pregnant but I felt she didn't care at all. Which I understand not wanting to work when you're pregnant but this was so bad. The acrylic is really thick and I asked her to cut my cuticles and she cuts them AFTER the acrylic! So now it looks like I needed a fill and just painted over it. She made them really short and I wanted to keep the length. She charged me $60 when I've gotten it for $40. And I think it was really unprofessional when I called and asked if I could get it fixed and they said no. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

Great experience getting a shellac manicure last night! There were a ton of color options to choose from. My stylist was very friendly and sweet, along with the other stylists I talked to. This nail salon is fairly clean. They use plastic covers over the pedi tubs and new tools which they sterilize in the back. They were fairly nice and even offered us bottle water. My friend and I went in the morning when they opened and weren't busy. We were the first ones there. We got regular pedis with dipped nail manicures which came out to be $65. However, my friend and I had just walked in and we were rushed to pick a color and sit in the spa chair. The lady (I think her name is Kimmy, not sure) that was doing my nails rushed the entire time. She continued to talk to the manicurist next to her and other workers instead of focusing on doing my nails right. I got my nails done today (it's been less than 2hrs) and you can already see the "nail growth." The manicurist put a clear polish on my nails and then dipped them in the colored powder. I've had some salons dip nails in a base powder before dipping in the colored one so not sure which is the correct way. The lady didn't go to the end of my nail bed and didn't dip the entire nail. Also, their dipped nail colors are a lot darker in the books than what they come out to be. I wanted to match my mani and pedi colors and felt they rushed me to pick a color just so they can get on with it. I feel like I'll need to redo this in a week or so since my regular nail is already showing. I don't think my manicure was worth the money I paid since it already looks 2 weeks old! read more

$73 for simple pedi and shellac manicure, was rushed even though they weren't busy at all. Definitely won't be coming back.
