Desperately needed to get my nails done and stumbled onto this salon. Was greeted immediately and…read moresat promptly at station 11. Came in for a dip powder manicure. The salon appeared clean and tidy. I'm not usually a fan of salons that make me soak my nails in warm acetone. It's just so harsh on my skin, so I was a little skeptical. I prefer the soaked cotton balls and foil method. It was still better than the peeling off method I've seen- yikes! I saw on reviews they have drinks available, like water, sodas and margaritas. I wasn't offered one. Maybe you're suppose to ask? Once it got down to it, my tech was very meticulous and really gentle with my nails. No flicking, tugging or pulling my fingers. She was very cautious with the electric drill and didn't cut me! (Big plus!) She listened to what I wanted and I'm happy with the shape and color. Afterwards, she gave me a brief massage. There is a 3% charge for debit and credit payments. May want to grab cash before going to save some money. My dip mani cost $45. Would say it's reasonable, especially for such a job well done.

But most importantly I also bring my bonus daughter and bonus son here too. My bonus daughter likes to sit in the adult pedicure chair to get her kids pedicure done and also gets a manicure as well. My bonus son loves to come with us and sit in the kids panda chair for a kids pedicure. For the most part, everyone is wonderful with my kids! They do have kids chairs in the waiting area as well as pedicure chairs. However, they are all old and dated. But they do offer complimentary nonalcoholic drinks and the kids LOVE that this is the only time that they get to drink Dr. Pepper since they aren't usually allowed caffeinated drinks. We have only had one negative experience with an older gentleman who did my bonus daughter's pedicure once and was very impatient with her. When it comes to certain parts of the pedicure, it will tickle (she's 7 going on 8) and she will look at me and laugh and move just slightly but she's a tiny girl and it is easy to ask her to sit still and hold her foot in place and she will stop. However, he growled at me and goes, "Mom, help me out here and make her behave." He said that several times and was very rude. It made both my bonus daughter and I very uncomfortable. However, the next time that we came, we had great service with a sweet girl who worked on both of the kids and I pointed out the gentleman to her. She said to always ask for a girl if you have kids because all of the women are great with kids.

So, I got one of the guys that does speak English to translate to her for me. The next time I was there getting my nails done she was doing a pedicure on someone and she and her customer were having a normal conversation and she spoke English well enough to carry on a lengthy conversation with that customer. So why was she acting like she couldn't speak English when I asked her a question? I don't like the games people play and I will never use her again. The reason I was trying to talk to her was to tell her she was hurting me because jerking my foot away from her wasn't a clear enough clue. Sorry, but acting like you don't speak English in front of some customers won't cut it when you know they are pretty regular customers. How rude! She is the one that sits next to the last stations of the nail area, on the left when you walk in the front door. I don't know why anyone would do that at a business. I guarantee they are losing customers over that. I'm sure I'm not the only one she does that to. I've used several other nail techs, but if I do go back, I will never use her again. I'm rating 3 because of her.
