Unique Maintenance - After shot of the bedroom carpet - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Santa Barbara, California

We had a very good experience with Unique. Their staff/workers were very nice and professional and courteous. The price value for their services was good and they did a very good job on our French limestone floors and our shower floors. We would definitely recommend these folks to our friends and family. read more

Professional, courteous and efficient! Carpet got wet from a plumbing issue and Josh took care of it and set me up with a fan to dry it out.

We had our Saltillo tile cleaned (which covers our 2400 sq ft home) and we're very happy! They were accommodating when we needed to reschedule due to last minute sickness in our house. Still got us in quickly the next week. Very professional and efficient - did a great job. Arrived ahead of schedule and got to work right away. Will definitely use them again! read more

We have been working with Unique Maintenance on our clients' homes for over 5 years. Working on high-end estates with specialty finishes requires a knowledgeable and professional vendor you can trust who is able to complete the work to our clients standards - Unique Maintenance always delivers! They provide excellent customer service and have keen attention to detail in all services they provide - but I have to say their stone cleaning and restoration is one our clients are always very happy with! We hired this company to clean our floors at our landlord's request when we moved away. They called us to try and come 2 hours earlier than our scheduled appointment, which we were unable to do. Then after making us wait an hour for our appointment, they called to tell us they would be another hour before they could come clean the carpets. We never ended up seeing the final product, so we can't vouch for that, but punctuality is not their strong suit. read more

I hired Unique maintenance to restore my old dirty slate stone floors. I was in a time crunch as I was having photos taken of my property. They did an amazing job bringing my stone floors back to life, truly a night and day difference. I also had some questions about additional work that needed to be done and they were very accommodating with recommendations and job quotes. Unique maintenance is a family owned business that really cares about their customers and community. I would recommend them for just about any maintenance need. I give them 5 stars and would used them again and again. Thanks again for all your help! read more

I have used Unique Maintenance to clean my own home and recommend them to my clients (I am a Realtor) when they are preparing their homes to sell. Unique Maintenance does it all: deep cleaning, windows, tile, grout and floors including steam cleaning carpets. My clients have been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and with their pricing. Their customer service is also top notch and I particularly like working with Josh. I will continue to use and recommend Unique Maintenance. read more

I had not used this company for any work at my home in Santa Barbara and actually had not heard of it until I went on the web looking for someone to come over and clean, polish, and reseal my travertine stone floors which is in my foyer, hallways, and kitchen in the downstairs. I was actually a bit dubious because I had not heard of this company, although I found out it has been in business for over 34 years in Santa Barbara, and I knew no one that had used them. I have to say that I am glad that I decided to hire them to do the work. They did my downstairs stone floors, the tumbled marble floors in the master bath area, and the stone front entry steps to my home. They were courteous, clean and careful, and wasted no time by working diligently to get the job done and it took them two and half days to do the work. The floors look great, the cost was very competitive, and they did the work for the estimate we negotiated. I whole heartedly recommend them if you need help with just about anything at home as they provide an array of services associated with the maintenance of your home. read more

This is the best team I have ever hired. they cleaned the air ducts, the dryer vent, windows, kitchen floor tiles, and cleaned and polished my kitchen countertops. I am extremely satisfied with their work quality and care taken in their job. Highly recommended! read more

The owner was so rude answering my basic questions on the phone that I didn't even end up using them. He told me my apartment was a "small deal" to him and when I asked his pricing and what kind of carpet cleaning services they offered he laughed at me and said "what kind of question is that"? Needless to say there are too many other companies in town that are professional and kind...I will take my "small deal" elsewhere thank you very much read more

Last winter, when Unique was doing our carpets, I complained that our forced air heating system wasn't working well. Henry, the owner, was there and he suggested it was a clog in the heating vents. His people "vacuumed out" the heating vents in the house which had become clogged with all kinds of "stuff" over the years. It could have been messy but it wasn't and the job was done well, at a fair price and on time. read more

Please research Unique Carpet Care before you call them to clean your carpets. They are rude, highly unprofessional and the owner himself will bully you if you ask for modifications on your carpet or rugs.Total nightmare with this company. We should have known when they arrived an hour late. There are other companies out there that will be professional and do a better job. read more

Steer clear. This guy, Henry, is a scammer. Have never written a review like this but hopefully you won't go down the road we did. He's great at selling and then it's a disaster. He's after fire victims and any other big money he can find, especially those with great insurance coverage/payouts. Two of our Montecito neighbors called on him as well and none of us would recommend. Came to restore our tile floor and we paid him on the spot. When he left, we realized there were a few areas that had not taken well in the kitchen and called back to inquire. Sent pics as well. He was not happy. Said he gave it two coats and that was the best it would be. When we looked back at security camera, he had brushed over the area actually just once and quickly so it did not leave the coating finish we were sold on. Was then too "busy" to rectify. Can get rude very quickly and does not shoot straight. Consumer beware! We had it all redone by another group and now have clean, refinished and well-protected floors. read more

I have been using Unique Maintenance for 3 years and have been very happy. In August I called another company who was advertising for less expensive ,when they came in they where not professional and the price when almost the double that what they quoted me on the phone. When ever unique Maintenance give me a quote on the phone they respect the price and do their job very well. I will recommend them very highly. Best carpet cleaning EVER ! I have 15 yr old Oatmeal colored Berber carpet that has been well stained by our golden puppy. Daniel was easy to communicate with, worked harder than any I've ever seen, took my whole house coupon and didn't say that the stairs were extra like the others do, was completely polite, professional and cleaned up every drop of water. He pre-vacuumed & also put a fan on to dry while he worked on another area. My carpet looks NEW ! read more

We have been using Unique for many years and they are the BEST! We have tried other carpet cleaners and they just can't compare. I asked my husband why he thought that Unique did a better job of cleaning and he said that they spend much more time at the job. We also had a 16 year old Lazy Boy chair cleaned and it now looks like NEW! Unique is always prompt and their employees are very professional. read more

They took two days to call back, and after finally returning a call, couldn't even confirm the appointment. My mother called them again to confirm, even repeating the fact that we only needed one room cleaned. The person on the phone said that was fine and they would be here around 8:30. They waited until nearly 9 am the day they were supposed to be here just to call and say that they won't do anything less than $125. Not using them again. read more

It looks like nothing was even done. We were recommended to go directly with Winston, I guess partial owner. Our carpet is only 3 years old and, yeah, it has some wear on it but nothing more than normal. We don't have young kids and have 1 dog who is very clean. The whole appointment took less than an hour and we were told that was as good as it was going to get. What a complete waste of money...I mean when I say no difference I mean not even in the slightest. Not even the normal dirt in high traffic areas, let alone not a single stain came out and there were only a few. I am still in shock. I had my carpets cleaned once a year when my daughters were young and messy and it would come out practically spotless. Unbelievably bad job...and out $110 buck for 2 small rooms emptied of furniture and 1 with barely the furniture left in so very little floor space to clean, and no hallway. I know they had a commercial job that afternoon so maybe we just got jipped because short on time. So disappointed with them. read more
