I'm a UCSB student who recently moved out of a 2B1B unit in Isla Vista, and I called MasterCare for a move-out cleaning. Before the cleaning, the unit was pretty dusty, and there were stains in the toilet and kitchen that I had personally tried to remove for months. I tried a lot of things but just couldn't get those annoying stains off. A few days before my move-out, I decided to call MasterCare and schedule their cleaning service. The service was excellent. They sent a 2-person cleaning team, and the total cleaning took about 4 hours. They magically cleaned the stains that I couldn't manage to remove after months of effort (seriously, I don't know how they did it lol) They cleaned inside the windows, oven, closets, floors, ceilings, and even areas like behind the refrigerator. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly. After they finished, they asked me to check the unit to make sure everything looked good. When I checked, the floor was clean like a mirror(literally reflective lmao see photo I attached) (no exaggeration). The communication with the cleaning team was also very smooth. They were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job, honestly better than I expected. Given the quality of work they did, I think the price is very reasonable. (Some random and weird thoughts: I'm a CS student doing research in AI and robotics, and watching them clean actually made me think that it would be pretty hard to design a robot or RL algorithm that could match their level of cleaning expertise lol +1 point to the human team) After the cleaning, my property managers inspected the unit and said it looked great, so it seems like I'll be getting my full deposit back, which I'm very happy about. I also had great communication with Linda, the company's manager. She is efficient, responsive, and professional, and the whole communication process was very smooth. I cannot recommend this service enough. Not only were they exceptionally responsive, but they also were extremely efficient and accommodating to my schedule. I just moved from a place I had been living for 5 years and by the time they left you couldn't even tell. $175 to clean a tiny 10 foot area in one room. Nope. I called, got transferred to another steam clean service. So I feel this is just a referral service, not an actual steam cleaning service. This is the absolute best cleaning service you could get. Their response time is extremely fast and they get things done efficiently. My housemates and I were recommended their services by neighbors, including our own landlord to secure the most from our deposit back. The workers are extremely kind, so nice to talk to and did an amazing job cleaning every inch of the house to make sure the most for our deposit was returned. They make sure that none of your deposit is taken because of cleaning and if it was they come back at no charge to make sure you get the most back as possible. The owner was willing to work with us and extremely helpful while my housemates and I scrambled to move out. Had trouble setting up a date, we finally found one on a Monday afternoon but I found out the owner wouldn't allow cleaning on that day. I called to change the appointment time and was told I couldn't because there was a 24 hour cancellation policy. I asked where it said that, because they never mentioned it before. The person I talked to was very curt and I felt disrespectful. He finally got back to me and told me that they were able to find a different client so I wouldn't have to pay. But my gosh... if they have a cancellation policy I expect to hear about it up front ! I looked at their website but didn't see it there either. I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone based on their attitude, they made have a great crew and do a wonderful cleaning job but management... not so good! read more

MasterCare window cleaners do inside and out, screens, and the running track of your windows, at a very reasonable price. When finished, our windows look amazing! TLDR: Linda was so helpful in accommodating and was not giving us any up charges for our needs (mold) saying that that was just part of the job. 3 cleaners came and went off for an hour and a half and left this place better than when we moved in. They listened to our requests and asked questions when needed. And made sure we were satisfied before they left. Amazing thorough job I am so impressed. Will definitely be using this service again. Breakdown: Our countertops in our kitchen were so ridiculously sticky. From the day we moved in you could not touch anything without feeling the need to shower. We did our best throughout the year but all of our efforts did not compare to what master cleaners accomplished within an hour and a half. The bathroom had accumulated mold between all the tiles and the ceiling and they scrubbed it all away!
