It was a great experience. It was a wax, then exfoliation then facial type stuff. During the wax, she asked questions just at pulling time so I barely noticed the sting. She explained everything she was doing which didn't seem like much and I didn't pay attention enough as we were talking but later I realized that there was some picking and steaming and a couple masks and a spray. One week later as I write this, I'm still smoother than I've ever been. All the little dark spots are gone so I now know that it wasn't hyperpigmentation but Ingrown hairs. I'll be back to see her again.

When I asked is she next or does she have a time frame of when she will get to my daughter I was told no by ebony and that she can't tell me no time and that if I didn't want to wait I could leave. My daughter sat ther the whole time patientmy and so did I do there was no need to be handle like that. Very disappointing experience. I purchased an $82 Groupon for a couples massage, but when we…read morearrived, they insisted that we pay the tip before receiving any service and would not allow us to begin until we did. They also charged me approximately $15 in taxes, calculated separately for each person as if we had purchased two individual massages at the regular price not one couples-massage Groupon. I paid at the time because we were being rushed to start, but after reviewing the charges on my way home, I realized I had been overcharged.calmly called to question the charge, and the employee confirmed that they taxed each of us based on the regular individual price. After going back and forth, she became flustered, said she needed to contact the manager, and promised to call me back. I never received a call. It is not about the extra it is about the principle and the lack of transparency. My best friend and I tipped both massage therapists well, so being overcharged and then ignored afterward felt extremely dishonest. Please review every charge carefully before paying.

When I called to book an appointment the masseuse who picked up the phone kept cutting me off and wouldn't listen to what I was asking her first before I booked my appointment. I am a customer and customers questions must be answered first for clarification as it is rude to not allow a guest to ask for clarification in the first place. There are a few things I need to have clarified. 1. Are abdominal (belly) massages included with the massages? I need this included. 2. What types of facials and body scrubs are offered? 3. Will the massage therapists actually follow exactly what I tell them to do for the massage? Thanks. Please respond and answer clearly.

I purchased a hydrating facial for a family member as a birthday gift and boy was she blown away…read more Booking the service was an ease as I called in advance so I could grab a spot for a Saturday afternoon. The gentleman on the phone was courteous, friendly, and professional and made reserving the date and time a breeze. The day of the appointment we were greeted and asked to fill out a simple form. After my family member completed the form, she was taken to the back by a pleasant woman. I asked what time I should come back to pick up my family member and she was ready at the time they told me she would be. When I asked her about her experience she told me the lady was nice, professional, and knew her stuff. She also recommended some products for my family member. The really cool thing about the experience was that I immediately saw a notably nice different in my family members face/skin. Overall the vibe was cozy and warm. The space is nice and quaint and they have seamoss for purchase. I do recommend!

Was in the area and in need of a massage and craving a head spa experience. They took me as a walk…read morein without issue, but you can also book on their website. The facility is clean and welcoming. I opted to do their 3 hour package, which includes 60 min head spa, 60 min body massage, and 60 min deep facial for $238. You can't beat the price! The massage was great, she really went after my trouble areas and integrated a hot pillow and hot stones into the massage. She checked in with me whenever she felt me tense up to see if the pressure was ok. I felt so much better after the massage. The facial surpassed my expectations, it was multiple steps and included a very thorough extractions process that included both manual and vacuum suctioning device, ending with a hydrating calming mask. I did have some redness from some of the extraction points but that's to be expected and most of the redness vanished by the next morning. The head spa was also very thorough with massaging my scalp, neck, and shoulders. She had already figured out from the massage portion that this was a trouble area for me so I appreciate that she continued working on it, it felt like she was in no hurry and her prime concern was for me to leave feeling completely refreshed. I have porous curly hair, which creates a challenge for these types of experiences. Most head spas don't know what to do with hair that's not straight or wavy, spending the brunt of the time frustrated with the detangling process. I've been to head spas in flushing, Greenpoint, and Astoria, and this was by far the best handling I've encountered. Even though it took some time to detangle, she never voiced frustration over the challenge, and intrinsically knew not to attempt touching mid shaft to ends until they were wet and covered in product. It was very relaxing and wasn't a painful process (again, usually it's very painful because they rarely know how to detangle curls). It was a multi step process with thorough scalp attention. When it was time to dry my hair, I wasn't expecting anything other than a blow dryer, as most of these places just get your hair dry without any products or styling. I was pleasantly surprised to see some hair products, including some specifically for curly hair. It wasn't a proper blowout (which usually unless you're paying $200+ just for the the head spa these places don't give a blowout anyways), but she ensures that I walked out looking presentable by layering some product and doing some light scrunching. This level of care for someone with mixed textured curly hair speaks volumes as to the quality of service that is being offered. I will definitely be back. The value is phenomenal and an inclusive approach to their care has made me a loyal customer.

The neck massage was incredible and she was great with the hair treatments themselves. I would go back, but ask that she do equal parts head massage and head scratching, which I actually like but not for 80% of the appointment. I will be returning to give it another shot since it is on my block which make sit very convenient so would love this be my go-to place !
