Very disappointing experience. I purchased an $82 Groupon for a couples massage, but when we arrived, they insisted that we pay the tip before receiving any service and would not allow us to begin until we did. They also charged me approximately $15 in taxes, calculated separately for each person as if we had purchased two individual massages at the regular price not one couples-massage Groupon. I paid at the time because we were being rushed to start, but after reviewing the charges on my way home, I realized I had been overcharged.calmly called to question the charge, and the employee confirmed that they taxed each of us based on the regular individual price. After going back and forth, she became flustered, said she needed to contact the manager, and promised to call me back. I never received a call. It is not about the extra it is about the principle and the lack of transparency. My best friend and I tipped both massage therapists well, so being overcharged and then ignored afterward felt extremely dishonest. Please review every charge carefully before paying. read more

A solid 3 in my books and I do recommend the spa. My fiancé and I went for the massage and facial package. This is our combined rating. The massage was 45 mins and the facial was 45 mins. The massage was a solid 7/10 - the masseuse talk and disrupt the relaxation of the process by asking random (unrelated) questions, which both of us found odd. My fiancés masseuse made a comment that he needs to get more massages, which was unnecessary and could be recommended afterwards, not during. Otherwise, friendly masseuse and efficient in their work. The facial was nothing to write home about - a standard facial that you can do at home frankly, as extractions are not included. I got frequent facials and this one was underwhelming and not worth the time. Overall, some things to improve on: the noise during massages and facials. The women were loudly talking outside of the rooms at various points - it took away from the ambiance. They also do tend to upsell quite a bit, although not in a pushy way. Stumbled upon this spa place through Tik Tok. We had to book ahead of time with your credit card on file. They do charge if you cancel within a certain time frame. Overall rating: 3/5 Ambience: I was surprised that the exterior was aesthetic. You had to walk down the stairs to get to the actual place. The couple room was a pretty tight squeeze. I really really wish the doors or walls were actually from the ceiling down. During my facial, it was so annoying that customers outside were just so loud. It was supposed to be a relaxing moment... Price: They offered a first timer deal of $59 per person. We thought it was pretty reasonable as it was more expensive on their website. Service: It was a nice 40 ish minute signature facial. However, you have to beware because they will push the seaweed mask to you... I eventually gave in thinking it would help my skin tremendously but it was about ~$20 extra dollars. I went with my friend and we got a couple room, however I felt like I wasn't getting the full experience with my person leaving the room to always be grabbing something. But overall, they were professional and super welcoming. They continuously offered a towel to me during the facial. They also explained each step to be during the facial. I bought a 90 min couples massage & facial (45 mins each) on Groupon for roughly $175. The Massage was ok. The facial was good. The place is aesthetically pleasing, clean and cozy. The staff is nice, however it was annoying that the massage therapists kept pushing, during the beginning on the massage, for us to upgrade to deep tissue massages. We were already asked at the front desk, upon arrival, if we wanted any upgrades and declined. They shouldn't be asking AGAIN once the massage starts. I don't like the way they operate on the money end of things. The fact that they make you pay tax once you get there doesn't make sense. I've never experienced that whilst purchasing a Groupon. Also, I understand that tipping should be on the full price of the service, but once it came time to tip, the total came out to $190 per person. That means I'm tipping on a $380 couples massage that I paid $175 for. I highly doubt that they discount the service by that much. If the Groupon stood at $175, and there was no "in house" tax tacked on, and the cost of the massage reflected the real price I'd say it was worth it, but after paying the tax + tip too expensive for the services received. And if In fact it is $190 pp for a 90 min. massage / facial combo (with 15 of those mins sitting with a mask on your face), then again not worth it! read more

Edit: The manager came and reimbursed me for the poorly performed facial and replaced my microderm treatments with hydrafacials instead. My most recent facial was ok, but their hydrafacial machine isn't the same as the ones used in a real medspa or dermatology office, and kept sputtering fluid everywhere (including up my nose.) So after several visits, a couple mishaps, and a decent attempt at customer service, I'd give this place a 2.5-3 stars. For the price point I would expect at least a slightly higher quality of service. read more

They get one star for being super friendly and likable but that's where it ends. They told me the lash lift would be 45 mins, it ended up being 90 mins and they left the chemicals on my lashes way too long that my lashes have rolled into my lid and are crimped, going in all different directions. I think the technician didn't think it was working and left it on longer to see if it would curl and then over curled. She kept telling me it would be fine and that it looked good. And now it will last even longer (but lash lifts only last for the life cycle of the lash before it falls out, so she didn't even have a basic understanding of how it works) She put a serum on it that turned my lashes crusty and started breaking off. Im looking into finding someone who can correct it for me which will cost way more. Im so bummed. Please do not go here. There are so many reputable lash lift places that cost more. As someone who prefers the more natural look, I got the "Natural Look" service. My technician Joo took her time in figuring out what would look best for my eyes and my preferred outcome. When you're doing these extensions, that's important because who wants to come out with whacky lashes? As someone who wears little to no makeup, these lashes open my eyes up and completes the look. She gave me some tips on how to maintain, consistently checking in on me if I was feeling comfortable. Overall, I was treated very well from beginning to end. The service was perfect and worth every penny. The spa was clean, well light, and extremely inviting. The retention of the lashes has been amazing a month later. I found this spa on Groupon. I came here as a last-minute birthday gift to myself. I did the couples massage. Upon starting the massages they started trying to sell to us and upgrade our massage while the session was going and I was trying to relax and unwind from a stressful day. It was very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. The room was bright and freezing cold, they used gloves which were also uncomfortable and the lotion was super cold. She also got lotion all over my hair, when it was time to pay they forced us to give each person a 20% tip. Tip payment and the amount should be optional. Overall it was hard to relax and I felt like they were greedy about the money and didn't care for the service they were providing. I will not return again! read more

Had a decent experience with their eyebrow lamination (though my skin was sensitive to the chemicals used, didn't have this experience with other salons in the past). The overall shape was good and the hairs have stayed largely in place after ~2 weeks. The only real downside was the excessive peeling and redness, but I chalked that up to having sensitive skin. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said about my eyelash lift. My eyelashes were so frizzy and curled into eyelid folds, which makes the eyes look smaller. My eyelashes now resemble clusters of spoolie brush hairs (clumped together and very short).The first red flag was that the technician didn't ask for the type of curl I wanted. I've tried to mitigate the results by keeping my lashes hydrated with castor oil, but it seems as though the only real solution is to have them grow out. Stay away from these guys for lash lifts - they don't know what they are doing. read more

Called to make an appointment and was given the Groupon pricing. Location is beautiful however they don't mention until you arrive that it's a mix of individual and cluster lashes. Once my lashes were complete they started falling off once I got outside. I walked back in to let the technician know and all she did was take it out instead of reapplying the set of 3 clusters that fell out. It's now two weeks after my application and half of my left eyelashes are gone and my right is very thin. On average 2 clusters per day have fallen out. Extremely disappointed. They also don't tell you they charge extra for using your card. The receptionist just charged the extra fee without explaining what is was for and seemed confused when I asked about it. Not very professional as I could've just used my cash and saved the extra dollars. read more
