I got to my appointment and they looked at my vehicle and noted that I did not include in my appointment request to have a sun shade on my front glass, I actually didn't ever really think about it being such a great part of the window until they pointed it out. 'No problem' they said, we can get a front windshield with the shade from our warehouse - the price will be slightly higher (less than $20 more) in a day or two. They fixed the windshield with the glass with the shade which I am grateful for - I know I would have missed that shade if I didn't have it. They washed all the windows in my vehicle and vacuumed! Amazing customer service!!

Now rather than filling a little star-shaped rock chip, I'm replacing the entire windshield. To be fair, I'd forgotten about the rock chip when the car went through the car wash. If you need to replace a windshield or fill a rock chip, you can book an appointment easily online with Safelite. Very efficient and fast service. We were there before the place opened, just before 8 a.m. on a weekday, as the appointment was at 8. Do you need new wipers? They have them. Do you also need a special coating on your new windshield, so that water just runs off it, they got it. Just pay more. They are probably competitive to other places for new windshield wipers unless you do them yourself. We waited for the car in the waiting room, but they didn't take long to have the new windshield in place. We were advised not to go through a car wash with the new windshield for the next 24 hours. No worries there.

Was advised to go to a dealership, that a windshield replacement wouldn't do that. The dealership confirmed Safelite did in fact cause it and over $1,000 later Safelite will not reimburse because they didn't see the damage. The dealership service member explained to them on the phone what they did as well as write a statement. Safelite said they couldn't reimburse because they didn't fix it, even though I called them first to fix it and was dismissed. The windshield wipers they also replaced, flew off the very first use.
