Just a quick positive update to our 5-star review for Mr. Windshield. We just sustained sizable impact damage to the windshield of our other car that required total replacement. We took it to Mr. Windshield and they ordered the part and installed it all at a very reasonable price. The new windshield looks as good as new, you would never guess it was a replacement. I cannot thank Charles at Mr. Windshield enough. I am new to town, and experienced my first cracked windshield due to thermal fluctuation. I called first thing on a Monday and Charles answered all of my questions. They ordered the windshield that day, picked up my car at work the very next morning, replaced my windshield, and returned my car the same day. Charles answered all of my questions being new to the Pacific Northwest and freezing temperatures. The quality of work is exceptional. The warranty is for the life of the vehicle, and Charles' customer service is the icing on the cake. They also came in $150.00 BELOW the 5 other places I called in town who would not have been able to help me until a week later. Great service !!! read more

So when I went to the Mr. Windshield approximately 10 months ago. Unfortunately I got another rock chip and had to get my window replaced by Safelite. When the safelight worker came to replace my window he noticed 3 different locations where Mr. Windshield had damaged my car. Both spots at the base of my window at the corners, and a scratch at the top of my window so deep it got to the metal and has began to rust my car. This is completely unacceptable. I should have figured they did other damage than the auto start antenna they ruined when removing my window without checking for attachments first. This makes 4 things damaged on my car for one window replacement. I would reccomend avoiding this shop completely, they try to hide what they screw up and so a poor job anyways. Their adhesive was already starting to break down in less than a year. read more

I have used this Mr. Windshield twice, once this fall and this past week due to daughters' vehicle windows getting smashed & broken into - not cool Moscow Charles was wonderful, getting the vehicles in quickly and going above and beyond to get them fixed. He even drove out and picked up the most recent vehicle as it was undriveable with the smashed windshield at no extra charge. On top of that he contacted the MPD with additional evidence he found in the car. Definitely recommend. Courteous, fair, great work and excellent customer service. read more

Beware of the Mr. Windshield Clown Commercial on local Moscow, Idaho television. Owner Zack Garner is not clowning around with his lack of customer service and intimidating behavior. My automatic car window mechanism broke. I took my car to Mr. Windshield at 1304 W Pullman Road, Moscow, ID. Zack the owner told me he would have to order the part and the total cost of part and labor would be $225. Once the part arrived 5 days later my car was in the shop all day for the repair. When I went to pick up my car the other repair man was there, Zack was gone. The bad news was that Zack broke the automatic lock mechanism while repairing the window mechanism. I was told that Mr. Windshield would order the other part and repair the lock at their expense since they broke it. Another 5 days before my car window and lock mechanism were repaired. At the time of billing, Zack told me the cost was $275. I challenged him by reminding him that he quoted $225 originally. He became disturbed and told me how much work he put into the repairs. I reminded him that I did not break the lock mechanism and the quote was for the window mechanism repair only. Zack became very agitated and argumentative. I felt that Zack strong armed me into paying a final amount of $250. About 2 weeks later I noticed the rubber gasket/weather stripping on the repaired door was falling loose from both ends of the gasket. My car is in excellent condition and the weather stripping was not in bad shape prior to Zack's "repairs". I took time off work to stop by Mr. Windshield again. Zack growled and asked "what do you want?" I showed him the gasket/weather stripping. He was obviously irritated and proceeded to shove and push the gasket into place. That didn't work so he pulled the part out of the door. Then Zack went into the shop and put some glue or epoxy on one end of the gasket and bracket. While waiting for the glue to dry, I suggested he help the other customer that came into the shop because I was in no hurry. Zack helped the other customer. In the mean time another employee was cordial and spoke about Zack's Clown Commercial on the local TV station. The other employee told me it costs Zack $2000 for each commercial. Soon Zack was done with the other customer, he stomped outdoors to my car and started pushing the gasket/weather stripping back into my car window area. One end was still loose and not adhering properly. I pointed that out and that is when Zack started yelling at me stating that the gasket was warped from weather. I stood up for myself and pointed out that my car is in great shape and none of the other gaskets/weather stripping were loose or messed up. I said that after Zack had removed the gasket a number of times it was no wonder it came loose. Then I asked if he was going to fix it correctly since I didn't break it and he did. He yelled at me, "you are the worst customer I have ever had, get out of here, never call me, do not email me, never come back!" I was dumbfounded. Zack was still yelling at me as he stomped back into his shop. Thus, I will never go back to have Zack fix his shoddy work. He breaks parts while trying to fix other problems then gets mad at the customer. Very poor customer service. Zack is not the cute clown as his $2000 commercial for Mr. Windshield professes. Customer beware. Mr. Windshield does not keep their word for repair quotes and tries to make the customer be the fall-guy and blame the customer for Mr. Windshield's lack of professionalism and not taking responsibility for their actions. No wonder Mr. Windshield is not BBB accredited. read more

Excellent service. Charles (who I believe is the owner, not 100 percent on that) was very helpful in scheduling an appointment and replacing the shattered windshield in my civic. I had a rock chip my windshield and Mr. Windshield was able to get my car in quickly. While they were fixing my chip they noticed my tire was low on air. They offered to fill my tire up but then realized they were missing a part on their air compressor to fill my tire. Instead of sending me on my way with a low tire, one of the owners (I believe it was an owner - if not an employee) went to a nearby store and bought the part they were missing and brought it back and filled up my tire so that I left safely. This is the definition of customer service going up and beyond what is expected. They will have my continued business. read more
