I would give a zero if I could. Safelite cut the network cord while replacing my windshield in my car causing all HVAC, windows to lose power. I called the technician immediately. Was advised to go to a dealership, that a windshield replacement wouldn't do that. The dealership confirmed Safelite did in fact cause it and over $1,000 later Safelite will not reimburse because they didn't see the damage. The dealership service member explained to them on the phone what they did as well as write a statement. Safelite said they couldn't reimburse because they didn't fix it, even though I called them first to fix it and was dismissed. The windshield wipers they also replaced, flew off the very first use. read more

My initial quote for a replacement was 533 dollars and then the day before my service was scheduled they canceled my appointment and proceeded to tell me that it was actually going to cost just shy of 900 dollars to complete the service they spoke of previously. This appointment was scheduled over a month in advance and at no point did they reach our until less than 24 hours before the appointment was set. Do not use their services. read more

Brandon repaired 2 pickup windshields in about 1 1/2 hours at my house. He repaired my daughter's focus windshield last year. He is so fast, neat, and efficient and communicates really well on his arrival time. His work ethic is why I'll always have them do my repairs. read more

My front windshield was just replaced on my 2021 Highlander. The replacment went incredibly well but the day after the replacement the beauty piece on the driver's side of my windshield blew off while I was driving. I tried to notify the company but was unable to reach anyone. I had to order the piece from the dealer and pay for it myself. Sad becasue I have used Safelite many time and this time they didn't make this right. read more

I wasn't able to give the technician all the information he needed for our first appointment, so we rescheduled. I got the best prices for the windshield and replacement blades available. I paid over $350 for a new windshield that I was very pleased with, but the technician managed to get a liquid on my car that has now warped and ruined my driver-side mirror where it dripped as well as my whole car door panel(drivers side). Safelite then sent the same technician to my house the next day who claimed it was "nothing he could have done" and left. I called a manager, who claims it was "nothing they could have done" and ended the conversation. I now have a ruined side of my new car and a quote for another $300 to fix the mirror and door. I understand that you can't come up with an explanation for what happened, but I see my car to be in your personal care for the 1 or 2 hours you are working on it. As a business person, sometimes you need to value the customer and the care of their vehicle. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust my car in the hands of Safelite and I urge you not to as well. This was a very poor case of customer service and I expected much better. I would have liked to have seen them take responsibility for their actions and provide the customer with some sort of cleaning for my car or compensation. Do not trust your car alone with a Safelite of Lewiston representative, or your risk more damages to your car. read more
