However, getting glass replaced isn't like going out to eat. There are very few reviews! I know in 2006 I got the windshield replaced by Thru-way Autoglass in Syracuse, NY, and it was TERRIBLE (beveled in and they refused to make it right). So, I felt it was kind of a crap shoot with getting someone. I chose Sims Glass because of the proximity to my house and the cost (it fit within the insurance coverage). I couldn't have been more pleased! Within a two-day period I got both my Accord and Suburban windshields replaced. They used a quality glass, offered me a ride to and from their establishment, etc. It's small. It's unassuming. But the people here do a good job and take pride in their work and in their work product. THANK YOU!

I have a Subaru Forester and nearly every time they hand dry it they miss the middle of the hood. I had to wipe it myself with paper towels today. As another reviewer said they leave a dirty V in the middle of the hood. The wash or wax used spit out these spider like webs on the driver's door which I didn't notice until I got home. They wipe off with a fingernail but I have to do it. I've found their service has gone down considerably in the last few years. Perhaps old equipment but certainly poor employees when drying the vehicle. My Subaru Forester isn't a 1 ton pickup with a 4" lift so the hood is easily wiped down. I shouldn't have to run it through twice in 1 day but I will from now on and come back the next day and run it through again if I have to. I hate saying anything bad about them but I have to. I'll use another wash if I have to. I don't want to do that.
