They failed to communicate this change in plans, leaving him stranded for hours when he could have easily arranged for help elsewhere. She works in the central mountains with no cell service during the week and was really concerned about getting new tires for her truck with her being gone. So she called dad (me) in a panic. I called Gill's to see if they could get her in quickly and diagnose the problem. They got her in, in about 15 minutes. We needed to get new tires anyway, so we got some on order. It took a day or two to get the specific tires we wanted in as it didn't matter. My daughter would be out of town in a state truck. She was due back on Friday. Thursday afternoon I got a call saying there was a mix up at the warehouse. They sent 4 tires but one was a different size. I started figuring out how to get up there to help my daughter out but Kerry Betts stepped in. He sent a truck from Lewiston all the way down to Boise (5-1/2 hours) to get the right size tire to make sure my daughter had something to drive when she got back in from the field. I a world where it seems like people don't seem to care as much for others as they used to, it was very refreshing to see this. We ultimately came to a deal that they would make sure that the check engine light, abs light, brake light, and tpms light would be fixed for an agreed upon price for the vehicle of 4000 dollars. They told me it would be fixed by Wednesday. We accidentally took the key and brought it back to them at 9 am. I needed the vehicle for work later in the week. Needless to say the things did not all get fixed. We scheduled a time to bring it back to them for getting the other things fixed and were told two days to fix it. Then the excuse we got when we went to pick it up was it was too hot outside to fix it. We brought the vehicle back again. I told the owner that I needed the vehicle back for work. He kept saying that he was slammed etc. the reality is I was told 3 days and they had it a total of six. I went in today and was told they had done extra to the vehicle. This is a lie. Our deal was that all the lights on the dash would be off and fixed. I asked for a day that it would be fixed and the owner clearly did not like that After an altercation I was told to leave. I will be taking them to small claims court for the difference of what it costs to fix the check engine light from the exhaust and the brake light.
