Half way to Colfax our tire pressure light came on and we could see we nearly had a flax tire! We found an air machine at the local petrol station and we filled'er up! When himself got down by the tire he could see we had picked up a nail! We found the nearest Les Schwab, and Rick, the nicest fella came out to see what we needed. I explained our situation and that I need to get to the wedding! He said, "not a prob, we will get u fixed right up!" They immediately got our car in the bay and are getting us fixed up!! Here's the thing about Les Schwab, I had inadvertently take. The paperwork out of our car! However, they had our history and records of purchase from our shop in Ellensburg! They found us, and we are covered, cause that is Les Schwab! They stand by their work! Sometimes it might seem better to get tires from other places, but I'm telling you from years of driving cars and many issues with tires over the years! It is worth every penny u spend to be able to walk into any shop and get your tires fixed at no cost to you!! thanks so much guys!! Amazing, 20 minutes and we were back out the door!!

It turned out to be no more than 5 minutes before they got us in, and they immediately got to work. Jose and Sorren talked us through the entire process, and made it all simple to understand. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes, and they did way more than just our oil change! They added transmission fluid, coolant, filled our tires, and cleaned our window! I will absolutely be coming here for the rest of my time in Pullman, and will recommend it to anyone who needs an oil change.

I pulled up to Take 5 on a Thursday afternoon and all 3 bays were open with people waiting for a car in all of them. After pulling around the building I went to back and fill to easily make the turn into the middle bay (dually means I can't really be turning after I go through the bay door) and the guy who would be taking down all my information attempted to walk up to the drivers door in the middle of this. After the second back up so I was ready to pull in, I rolled the window down. He was friendly and greeted me, but made me feel rushed despite no one else being there. He asked me for the odometer reading and I gave it to him but he fumbled the numbers because he wasn't ready, which was odd but not a big deal. During this interaction and before I ever entered the bay, I asked if they had full synthetic 15W40 as I'd like their Mobil 1 FS oil change option, and he assured me they "probably did, either rotel or Mobil 1." Then, he said "ok and we'll have you in the middle bay today." Again just weird, but ok... and I'm not loving the dismissal and non-answer. So after entering the shop and before anything had been touched I asked again, do you have the Mobil 1 Full Synthetic as I would really not like Rotel. He dismissed me again and asked for name, etc so he could fill out his screen. Now the oil was being drained. Turns out, they don't carry Mobil 1 FS for 15W40!!! Which is the normal oil for most diesels. And after he punched everything into his computer I was asked if I knew what weight for this truck so not only were my questions dismissed but blatantly disregarded. Oil is out of the car already now and to their credit, the guys start trying to come up with a solution. In the midst of all this, I told the short guy who was basically in charge of the communication this whole time (and I really am sorry for not getting his name) that I have an aftermarket air filter, I know it needs replaced and I'm doing that myself tonight -- please don't even touch it or worry about it. He relays to the guy working on the vehicle that yeah she said we're replacing it. That guy comes up and asks "uh, it says you have a ram air filter?" ....Yeah, I know, I said DON'T touch it, I'm replacing it myself. As they start to problem solve, the shorter guy again comes over and goes "don't worry, we'll call O'Reilly's and have it here in 5 minutes." I tell him that they don't carry the Mobil 1 full synthetic for 15W40, I know that, but any FS will do I would just really not like Rotel and I thought that'd been made clear but the oil is drained now so here we are. The guy apparently disregarded and didn't relay this AGAIN, because another guy goes to fetch the oil from O'Reilly's himself and finds they don't have Mobil 1. Shocker, really. At this point they want me gone and, before the short guy comes to talk to me, they begin to fill the oil filter with Rotel FS 15W40. The guy lets me know that that's what they're going to do is change my oil with the Rotel. Now, at this point I've seen it poured into the filter and make its way under the car -- I clarify it's full synthetic at least and he says yes, so I said I guess that's fine. At this point it's already in the vehicle. So, did I technically consent to the Rotel after being disregarded five other times? Yeah, I guess. Clean Rotel is probably better than dirty Mobil1 and I won't dispute that. And I'll be beating myself up for not standing up for myself more but at a certain point it becomes tiresome to have everything you say completely ignored. The fact remains that I was recommending this place to everyone after our experience a couple weeks ago but in one fail swoop they've made it so that I'll never return. Women of Pullman, I was really hoping this place would be different but I guess here's your notice to be wary...

I would strongly caution anyone considering Heritage Auto Repair…read more We brought in our 2018 Nissan Murano because of a screeching noise. Heritage diagnosed the problem as a serpentine belt and tensioner and charged us over $560 to replace them. The very next morning the exact same noise returned. When we contacted them again and sent a video, they told us it was actually a wheel bearing issue and quoted another $1,150 for repairs. At this point we lost confidence and sought another opinion. A different shop diagnosed the actual problem immediately: the transfer case, which explained the noise and the acceleration issues. So to summarize: * Heritage charged us $560 for a repair that did not fix the problem * They then misdiagnosed the issue again as wheel bearings * The real issue was the transfer case, which they completely missed What is most concerning is that they were prepared to perform another $1,150 repair that would not have solved the problem either. Good mechanics diagnose problems before charging customers for unnecessary work. This experience felt like guessing at repairs while the customer pays the bill. I would recommend anyone experiencing drivetrain or noise issues get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here.

Whether it was meant as an internal note or a joke, it is beyond unprofessional and extremely insulting to see this attached to my customer information. This experience makes me question what kind of internal dialog they have about their customers, and unfortunately, it has completely changed my opinion of this business. I recently got a vehicle running after 6 years and took it to Meineke to check the brakes for safety. That was mid last week and I called today to learn it will be end of this week before it's looked at. That's 8 working days for a simple brake safety check. That will take an hour or less, even if the system needs brakes bled. Hmmm. Ok, to see if this is specific to Meineke or unavoidable right now, I called Schwab to schedule the same thing. They gave me a time appt in 1 day. They also double checked my records, gave me a rough estimate and discussed probable problems getting a vehicle back on the road. They put me in touch with a brake specialist, not the person at the front desk. They made sure they will be ready with inventory in stock. I changed the appt to Les Schwab. I do understand current workloads but waiting longer than 7 days for a TEST is a signal they don't really want to earn my steady business. Maybe they have too much business. This was my first experience with Meineke, closest to my house, and I get lots of advertisement from them. They are off my list.
