Great experience overall, initially I went to the wrong lot. They have locations on both sides of the street across from each other. I called and asked if a car was available and the answer was yes, so I told the person I was talking to I'd be over in 30 min. The man I spoke with was Auggie and was also the person I met with/ handled everything. I believe I went on a Sunday, and agreed on getting the vehicle. Prior to the agreement, while looking at the contract, there was an extra 4k in charges for something I didn't agree to. Keep in mind, I do not believe it was auggie who drew up the paperwork, and he quickly corrected it within 5 min, 4k in extras, GONE! Great dude, no questions asked. Unfortunately I wasn't able to secure the vehicle that day due to my bank being closed so we agreed that Tuesday would be the day. Tuesday was a mess for me because I work 3 hours away and still had to return my rental car but auggie and his team were super understanding and were willing to wait for me to get to the dealership. They need to advertise the true price they are asking for the car. We went in today, picked out a vehicle and had our own financing. We were advised there were mandatory add-ons. A clear coat finish...it's a used car and it had some scratches and theft protection. If you refused that, then you had to accept a mandatory warranty or no deal. We walked out. I wouldn't recommend this place. The finance lady was being dishonest as she was telling us she didn't know what the bluebook was on the vehicle, but in the next sentence stated she couldn't sell the price for any lower. Maria and Luis were really amazing when I came in to buy my van. I came in wanting to look at a specific car and it was already ready by the time I got there to look at it. Before I even test drove it, Maria warned me that it was feeling a little jumpy and she wasn't sure what was causing that. So she would have the mechanic look at it if I decided I wanted to buy the car that day. On the test drive it did jump a little bit. It seemed kind of like the suspension, later we found out it was actually a misfire. They offered to fix it for me if I wanted to buy the car, and initially said it would be until Tuesday (it was Sunday). However, I live in Phoenix and was driving home the next day (Monday). I did really like the car. It checked pretty much every box that I wanted out of a vehicle and it was within my price range, I didn't think we were going to be able to do a deal because I had to leave the next day and they said they might not be able to fix it till Tuesday. Maria spoke to the mechanic and they were able to squeeze me in the next morning before I drove home. I had also requested that they replace a fuse while I was there, and they kindly did so. I was super appreciative because I got to drive a new car safely back to Phoenix without having to worry about it. Everyone was so nice and they were very patient with me with all of my questions. I even was texting off and on the rest of the week with questions and they still responded, even though they had no no need to do so anymore because I had bought the car cash outright, so technically I was no longer a customer they could benefit from. I began my search for a used Toyota Sienna just last week, perusing online listings posted by various local dealerships. I came across a used 2007 Sienna LE with 143K for $7995 at Unique Auto Center in Bloomington, which beat any other prices in a 50-mile radius by at least five thousand dollars. My husband and I had first checked out a newer and more expensive Sienna at a different dealership, but decided that we needed something in a lower price range. I called Unique Auto Center on the way there from the first dealership, and told them we're interested in the 2007 Sienna. I spoke with Auggie the salesman, who was very professional and efficient from the beginning to the end. He had the van ready to be pulled up for us to test drive right as we arrived, so we wasted no time in deciding whether or not we wanted to get it. We decided to purchase the vehicle since it was listed at such a great price and was in great condition for an older Sienna. UAC didn't offer a warranty since it's an older vehicle, but Auggie assured me that it's a solid, drivable van that their in-house mechanic checked over to make sure it's in good, working order. They also do mandatory oil changes for all vehicles that come into their possession, so it's nice that I don't have to worry about that. We put a $200 in cash deposit down (which is non-refundable if you change your mind) to hold the van until the next day when we'd be able to bring in the rest of the cash. We arrived the next afternoon to pick up the Sienna. We then met Charlie the owner, who was very gracious and kind. He had ordered a few large trays of enchiladas for his employees, and we happened to come in during lunchtime. He immediately insisted that we help ourselves to some delicious food, and we even got a couple of cans of soda. The food was so good! It's apparent to us that Charlie cares not only for his employees, but also for his customers. What a great boss! The entire purchasing process was smooth sailing with Auggie, and we're really glad we scored a great deal on the vehicle that we wanted. We were in and out in no time; we probably spent less than an hour in total there. Thank you for a great eperience, Unique Auto Center! I was interested in purchasing a vehicle here. Originally I had chosen to add extended warranty but then decided not to. Once I advised the dealership I did not want the $3,500 warranty they advised that the vehicle had to be sold with 2 accessories that were mandatory which were $995 each. The sales man said this came from upper management whose full names he refused to tell me and just said were named John and Jack. Seems like this dealership just wants to make the most money off people when selling a car adding as much as they can instead of best helping the customers with best suiting their financial situations when purchasing a vehicle. I saw other reviews about this dealership and saw other customers had the same issue with extra add ones. This is such an unprofessional auto place. The car we got was nice and clean and looked great on the outside but a few days after we left the dealer it started having mechanical problems that ARE NOT covered by the so called warranty that they offered. They also gave us the worst APR rate anyone could Possible ever hear of and asked if we were okay with a certain monthly payment and that was ALL and next thing you know they have paperwork ready with a terrible percentage on APR. definitely our fault for signing that but they are not looking out for you and are not interested in helping you once you buy one of their cars. Back to the warranty, Luis specifically told us that if we went with the warranty we could always take it off after having it for a minimum of 3 months which has been long ago considering we got this back in December HOWEVER ever since trying to contact him to remove the warranty so we can get our money back on that (given it hasn't done anything for us since the mechanical problems are not covered) we have been constantly ignored. We call Luis and he tells us on the phone he needs to contact who knows who to see where the check is for our refund notice it's been almost two months since we requested this. On May 10 my husband called to speak to him they said they were short staffed and busy and he wouldn't be able to speak to him till Monday so then i called 20 min a later and surprisingly enough they transferred me to him. Luis sounded helpful however it's all talk because nothing gets done. He said he'd take care of it and call on the 13th for an update and to text him with our info. I sent the text Monday comes around and NO UPDATE. I texted him again on the 16th to remind him and NOTHING. They truly don't care once they have the signatures for them to rip you off. read more
