My wife and I tried this place for the first time. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks and a…read morecouple of appetizers. We hadn't even opened our menus yet and they had brought over some complementary tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was very good, with a nice spice kick. I've become a bit of a Mexican food snob over the past 20 years or so, living 20 minutes away from Central Falls makes it pretty easy to do that. Noting that, we didn't have the high expectations for this place; I've tried so many places that look similar to this that were very disappointing. Well, that's why you don't judge before trying a place. Everything we got was incredible. We started with two Palomas, a grapefruit and tequila cocktail, so tasty. Then we ordered the Mini Chimis, four mini chimichangas, two chicken, two beef, served with a tasty cheese sauce on the side. They come cut in half, so it's eight decent sized pieces. Then we ordered our second cocktail, the Oaxaca martini. Delicious! This is probably a good time to say that the bartender who took care of us did a really great job. He was very personable and efficient, and the drinks were excellent. The other appetizer we got was the octopus ceviche. This was the star of the show. I've had many ceviches, and have made it many times, but this was by far the best I've ever had. The seasoning was ridiculously spot on. I think it was around $25, but I was really taken aback by the size of the serving. It was huge. We brought some home. The food all came quickly, and there was a mariachi band! There were quite a few cars in the parking lot, so we expected it to be packed, but it's such a large space with different rooms that it didn't look full at all inside. As if you couldn't tell, we will definitely be back.

I really enjoy their elote, and the chips and dips are pretty good as well. I did not take a picture, but I did order a pineapple plate that came with chicken and rice served in half of a pineapple. Honestly, it was not worth the money at all. There was barely any food, just half a pineapple I did leave that day with a bit disappointed. The food is good overall, but I have not tried anything that really stood out. I would mainly go for the drinks, guacamole, and chips. Location: This location is in Seekonk and is in a pretty secluded area with free parking. It is definitely a casual place to go with friends and family, and it also works well for a casual day out. Service: The service has always been good. I have not had any issues any of the times that I have gone.

The homestyle corned beef hash was also very good...definitely home made and real corned beef, not the imitation stuff from a can you get sometimes. This was one of my favorites but our last visit definitely was a miss…read more We visited on a busy Saturday night. We sat at the bar and was given chips and salsa pretty quick. I ordered a spicy margarita and my wife got a soda. The bartender has such an amazing personality and made a fantastic spicy margarita with their homemade spicy tequila! The complimentary chips and salsa are always night but the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. We did order queso and it was good but a bit too watery. I ordered sweet potato tacos and was very disappointed that it was filled with fries and not sweet potato. The flavor was great but the menu should reflect that it is fries. My wife got a burrito without meat and they filled it with cauliflower and broccoli which wasn't good. It didn't say that on the menu so it was again, disappointing that it came with that. Overall the service was a 5 but the food was about a 2. So disappointing because this used to be one of our favs.

But we wanted to see if we could find something closer and that could maybe satisfy our taco cravings. We came around 3 so it was just winding down the lunch crowd. We had 2 orders of steak tacos, an order of calamari, and I ordered the chicken mole. The steak tacos come with 4. We asked for some spicy hot sauce and they brought us some house made stuff. Hot. Fantastic flavor. The chicken mole was a thin cutlet of chicken breast. I was a bit bummed because I usually get it with bone in thighs or legs. Buuut the cutlet was super tender. The molé sauce was amazing. Best molé I've had yet. Had a bit of a kick to it The calamari app was in the top 5% of all the calamari apps we've ever tried. Will definitely get them again if I'm here. I liked the interior decorations and this place had ample private parking.

Went here last week for cinco de mayo. I knew it would be busy but decided to give it a try. They…read moresaid it would be a 30ish minute wait. Understandable. BF and I got a couple margs and waited outside. 40 mins goes by so I go in and check. They say it'll be another 20ish mins. 30 mins goes by and they say another 30 mins. Pretty hangry at this point. Again, I get its cinco de mayo. We finally get seated more than an hour and a half later. We order the guac and tortilla chips as an app. Guac wasn't bad. Chips were stale like they were out all day of cinco de mayo. My BF orders steak tacos as his entree. I order the Cochinita Pibil. "Slow cooked pork in achiote. Served with rice, beans and tortillas". We finally get that 30 mins later. His tacos were subpar to say the most. Quote "I wouldn't get tacos here again". My dish was the BLANDEST meal I've ever had in my life. It tasted like nothing. I was visibly upset when the waitress finally walked by 15 mins later and told her I couldn't eat it. She asked if I wanted something else so I told her I'd just have the steak tacos because I was starving at this point. She then asked if I wanted a box for the entree I originally ordered and I said no because it didn't taste good at all and neither of us would eat it. She began to walk away and I politely asked if she would still charge me for the cochinita pibil and she said yes so I told her I wouldn't want anything else and to just give us the check once my bf was done with his meal. She didn't pay attention to me the rest of the time we were there. She did end up charging us for that bland plate. Pretty sad. I regret not asking to talk to someone because I guarantee no one in that kitchen would have enjoyed it either, as they were all Hispanic from what I could tell. I myself am Central American so I know authentic dishes. Sad to say I will not be going back there. Good luck!
