Can't recommend Union Physical Therapy enough. Mitch is attentive, professional, and very good at identifying root causes of problems. I came in to deal with outer knee pain related to running, and after doing Mitch's prescribed exercises daily for a couple weeks, I am running pain-free. My previous advice from my doctor when I saw him about my knee was "take it easy for a month and ice it." If you're getting this advice from your doctor, do yourself a favor and call up Union. Their system for appointments is effective, I like the multiple reminders for my appointments and waitlist option. Tarah, the office manager, is also very responsive and helpful. read more

I've been to many PT places and this is the best. Very professional and well run. I've been working with Jessica for about six months on several issues and she's fabulous. She helped me strengthen a few weak areas and got me out of pain. She also prepared me for a surgery which helped a lot. I recommend Union PT! read more

After my shoulder surgery, my doctor and my friend recommended to go to union physical therapy. Michelle and Joshua have been working on my therapy. Yes, I highly recommend them!! My shoulder is almost perfect!! I cannot believe I can recover from the pain 10 to 0!! Thank you very much!! read more

Great place to guide me in rehabbing ruptured achilles tendon. Josh has been there since the beginning with Michelle filling in when he's not available. Both are very knowledgeable and have helped tremendously in my recovery. read more

I've been going to Union Physical Therapy for 8 or 9 weeks now. My PT Dustin has been excellent in helping me treat a bicep injury in order to help me get back to climbing. From the beginning of my sessions here, Dustin has made it a point to really pinpoint where my pain is coming from and has honed in on a set of exercises to help me treat that pain. Over the course of the past few weeks I've seen my injury heal well, to the point where I'm confident that I'll be able to start climbing properly again. The at-home exercises he's prescribed have been super helpful. The Union PT staff have been really helpful in scheduling appointments and have consistently notified me if there are additional openings in the schedule. read more

I used to love these folks, but my favorite PT is now booking several weeks out. This is frustrating, since I can't wait that long to get an injury treated, so I'm having to look elsewhere. Rather than stuffing each PT's calendar with patients weeks in advance, it would be great if they left a few spots open until 1-2 days prior, so that established patients could still get in with relatively short notice. read more

I've been at Union PT for a few months now and it's been a really great experience. My first round of PT before Union turned out poorly. However, at Union, I've actually seen steady improvement in my back injury and my physical therapist is very knowledgeable and has done a lot to guide me through the long and unpredictable process of rehab. read more

I've had a lot of experience with PT over the years and Union PT is definitely one of the best. I'm very thankful to Amanda, Kristen, Mitch, and Elisa for helping me overcome a lot of pain and dysfunction. They are all highly skilled and knowledgeable as well as friendly and caring. read more

I've been to Union Physical Therapy for two different issues and both times I've received excellent care. The PT spends the whole session working one-on-one with me, tailoring the plan as we go. I couldn't recommend this group more. read more

Very professional, clean environment with a dedicated, knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend a visit.

I highly recommend Union Physical Therapy. Jessica Jortberg has been fabulous to work with over the last few months. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She carefully explains what is going on and the plan for treatment and strengthening. Jessica is very supportive and cheerful - a joy to work with. The facility is very accessible and front desk staff very friendly and helpful to help with appointments and billing. read more

For better or worse, I have needed the services from Union PT multiple times over the years. I have worked with Mitch, Kristen, Sarah and Jessica. All have been very knowledgeable and they have helped me to safely return to the activity I love. read more

I have been going to Union Physical Therapy for the past few months and it has been great! I had trouble with stiffness around my hip joint area and was worried it could be something severe. I heard about Dustin through a friend and booked him way in advance. I'm very glad I waited! Dustin was very professional and had great bedside manners. After several sessions, I was able to build both flexibility and strength back into my problem areas. He was also able to help me with some other long standing issues I've had with my ankles, calf and hamstrings. Not only did he help me get back to where I was, I think I'm actually in better shape! The online booking system works great, with text and online reminders in the days before your appointment. I really recommend Union Physical Therapy! read more

I have been going to Sarah Kaiser and she has been fabulous. She is very knowledgable, caring, and has really helped decrease my pain levels. I look forward to every appointment here and would recommend it to anyone. Front desk is extremely responsive and professional, too! read more

I could not be more grateful to have Union PT close to home. Now, I would travel across town for them! As a runner for nearly 40 years, I originally began working with Amanda for help with my hip and knee. I saw amazing results and continue to do well. With the development of my sudden, near-frozen, shoulder problems, Amanda is helping me regain range of motion and reduce pain to navigate through this new chapter of my athletic and daily life. read more

I've been seeing Josh at Union PT for my neck and shoulders, and he is wonderful. He is so thorough and the exercises he gives me have helped a lot with my pain symptoms. I love that he explains everything he does and every exercise he gives me so that I know exactly what muscles are being targeted and how. The front office is also great. I got on the schedule sooner than I thought I would because of their cancellation list, and then they booked me several appointments for that month so that I could stay on their schedule. read more

I am back again-this time for pain in my hips. Elisa has been phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things. In the last few months, we have made incredible process on my strength and mobility. I love that Elisa always looks at the big picture and really works through the pain, the causes and the effects. She also pays attention to her home exercise program and what is and is not working. She revises it frequently to make it as effective as possible. I don't mind doing the exercises at home because I know WHY I'm doing them and I don't feel like I'm wasting my time. I will recommend Union PT to everyone! read more

I visited Andrew for my Achilles heel. When i first wen to see him, i could hardly walk more than a mile without pain and my Achilles would ache at night and in the morning. 6 weeks later I'm exercising regularly and have even done some short runs (very short, but still a huge improvement). What I liked best about Andrew's level of care was threefold: 1. The holistic approach was incredible. He worked on my Achilles, my calf, and then my lower back as he traced the root of the problem 2. Andrew was very methodical about describing what he was looking for, what he was focusing on, the treatment he was performing, and how it would help. It was nice to just understand what was happening and inspired a lot of trust 3. On avg, Andrew spent roughly 40-45 min with me each hour. In the past, I've just been jettisoned out to the exercise therapists and felt like the therapy was cut short. This was an entirely different experience. I'm not in any rush to need more PT, but when i do the only person I'm going to use is Andrew and Union Physical Therapy. -Collin read more

Elisa was my PT for back problems I have. Not only is she empathetic, she listens very well. She came up with a list of exercises for my specific issue & they worked very well for me. I still do them & find that I can tell the difference on the days I do not. On a different occassion I had to see Mitch for an inner ear imbalance & he fixed it in 30 minutes with these magical manouvers - just like that! For anyone who knows how terrifying the random dizzy spells are, this is really & truly like magic. Union PT worked MUCH better for me than going to the Chiropractor's (and I saw 2 of the most highly rated ones on Yelp for Seattle). read more

I have a long-time, nagging high-hamstring tear, and advance chrondromalacia in both knees from years of soccer/sports. I'd seen one of Union PT's therapists at a different location previously, and appreciated her thoroughness and her individualized orientation. So, I sought her out at Union and had a wonderful experience! The location, well-appointed equipment, holistic approach the therapists have, and the willingness of the front-desk folx to sleuth out appointments for me within a packed schedule made for a really positive experience. I'll be continuing to work with Kristen there, but recommend any/all of their PTs heartily! read more

I am a physical therapist, and this is where I go when I personally need PT. I know a number of PTs and OTs who go to Mitch as their personal PT when they are injured, which is evidence of how excellent he is and how we trust Union Physical Therapy. I had a right forearm and wrist injury that was worsening over eight years and limiting my ability to work, and they helped diagnosis and trip the injury so that I am back to full use of the forearm and wrist. They are also skilled with treating neck injuries. I appreciate how they offer one-on-one sessions with a PT instead of rotating patients through PTs plus rehab aides and how they provide hour long sessions. They provide thoughtful input on home exercise and alignment strategies so that I can get the most out of my time with them. read more

I've received care from 3 of the very comprehensive members of Union Physical Therapy and as someone who has sought help for over 40 years I feel like there aren't better caregivers in the Northwest. A special shout out to Elisa who is a CSI for the body, if you've got a complicated problem you need her care. read more

I went to Union Physical Therapy after spraining my ankle. I worked with Amanda, and she was amazing! Her knowledge, attention to detail, care for my ankle, body and overall health was so impressive! I really enjoyed working with her and trusted her completely with my recovery! All of the exercises were accessible on an essay app. They also took covid protocol really seriously, and I felt safe. My ankle is doing so much better and I have Amanda and Union Physical Therapy to thank! I would recommend them to anyone looking, and will go back to see Amanda if I ever need PT again. read more

Great, attentive physical therapists. Very nice people. Book a few appointments at a time as they get busy fast.

This place is excellent! I've never been to PT before and I, of course, had a very stupid injury, but shoot dang did Kristen help my healing process! Physical therapy is something that requires a lot of patience and work and commitment. But this place is very good at helping you get better. I made drastic improvements in between my first and second visit and I'm so excited to review this place. It's worth your time and money. read more

I initially visted Elisa Scherb at Union PT for a painful back condition, and after she worked with me for a few months, I was thrilled to see my back improving. I'm now able to get up in the morning without pain and can go back to all the activities I did before this happened. Elisa took a holistic approach to my back issues--she used exercises and manipulation to figure out where the problems were coming from, and then used creative methods to treat all the side effects I was experiencing. This was also a great learning experience for me, as I learned how my movement could be adjusted and improved to ensure that I can avoid this back pain in the future. Another important thing I noticed about Elisa and the practice they run at Union: the therapists really take time with each of their patients, and work collaboratively with them to help solve their issues. It was really refreshing to see this in practice and I honestly believe it works. read more

I was a sidelined avid rock climber and hiker before working with Kristen at Union PT. I had sciatic pain and loss of muscle activation prior to becoming a patient. She provided me with excersises that help me prevent my sciatic pain and decrease symptoms with unavoidable flairs up. Kristen's therapeutic techniques got me back on the trails and rock. I can't thank her and Union PT enough! read more

I dislocated my elbow from a climbing accident and have been seeing Dustin for a few weeks now. Couldn't recommend him enough. He's professional, caring, and genuine. The office is easy to schedule with and I'm very grateful to have had such a quick recovery. Thank you, Dustin! read more

I highly recommend Mitch if you need to seek physical therapy. He is focused on getting to the root cause of the issue so that he is not just treating symptoms. He brings a very balanced approach of manual therapy and strengthening work. I've been to a few different PTs over the years for back and shoulder pain, and have never received such holistic and successful treatment until working with Mitch. read more

I have been doing triathlon since 1992 - every year - racing sprint through IM distance. Over the years I have had my share of injuries that take me out of the race. I visited Andrew for pain, located in my knee, impacting the mileage I was able to log, while prepping for an olympic distance last summer. Andrew is an endurance athlete - he gets it. I was impressed with his knowledge and his process - he was able to get to the root of my issue in short order. He spent time making sure I understood the treatment - in detail - this made it much easier for me to be an active participant in my treatment. Within weeks I was running, adding distance and enjoying pain free running. I had a pain free (and fun!) race 6 weeks later. If you are an athlete and you need to be fixed, I recommend Andrew and Union Physical Therapy. read more

For Andrew Eisen, physical therapy is his craft. He is constantly striving to grow in his abilities as a therapist and healer, in his personal life, and as a small business owner. He desires excellence and it shows in his practice. I would send my own family to Andrew be seen and cared for. He knows what is in the scope of his knowledge and skill set and what is beyond his reach, and this to me is profoundly important. It demonstrates that his focus is patient directed and personalized. I have been a life long athlete (Crossfit, climbing/mountaineering, MMA/martial arts, soccer, and beer pong). My cache of personal injuries is a laundry list, and Andrew has been able to make a profound positive impact on my recoveries. Additionally, he empowers me to understand what's happening to my body and how to continue caring for myself. I whole heartedly recommend Andrew and Union Physical Therapy to anyone: they are a group of intuitive, talented and patient practitioners that are committed to the success of their clients. read more

Amanda and Kristen are the best! I've been a regular here for the last 7mo after slipping a disc in my lower back and then having knee surgery on my patella a month later (25F). Formerly an avid skier and runner, Amanda has been with me through some tough moments in helping me adjust and plan for a future of lots of biking and not so many high impact activities. Great location, team, and environment-I look forward to each appointment and greatly appreciate the dedication and support of the team. Injuries are tough to go through- make sure as you plan for recovery you surround yourself with this phenomenal team to make your comeback better and stronger than ever! Highly recommend. read more

If you have any need for physical therapy, there is no place better to go! I've been working with Elisa since May for back and shoulder pain. She has been very helpful in my rehabilitation and has provided me with a fantastic at home program to compliment the physical therapy sessions. I've been to a few PT places who are also great, but these therapists really know their stuff. I'm so happy this office was recommended to me! read more

Mitch is a wonderful PT that explains everything in great detail. He truly cares about his patients and focuses on the true root cause of the problem making sure you know what's going on with your body. He starts with the fundamentals and builds off of that. He actually brought out an anatomy book and showed me exactly where my problem was and told me how we were going to fix it by exercising both in and outside of the office. I would recommend any and all ages to his establishment. His office is conveniently located in Freemont just down the road from the Freemont Troll. His office is very clean and inviting. read more

Amanda is the PT to see if you're looking for methodical, attentive, and consistent care. I prefer a scientific approach to all things, and she did not disappoint (plus she's fun to spend time with)! I have a hip issue that took forever to be diagnosed, and she has been with me through every step, tracking my progress and recommending next steps, OPA's, acupuncturists, etc. I love the app she uses to communicate my PT exercises, and I always get a timely email response. read more

Elisa Scherb is the best physical therapist I have ever worked with. I went to her several years ago after a car accident caused several months of shoulder pain to the point I thought I may never return to the same level of athletic activity. Dr Scherb provided an evolving treatment plan that returned me to the same intensity of workouts that I had done prior to the accident. More recently, I had a low back injury that I have been working through. Dr. Scherb is well-versed in a variety of modalities that are helping me through this injury at each visit as well as a home exercise program that is strengthening core and pelvic floor muscles to allow me to run without back pain. She and her staff are professional and personable. I recommend her to anyone looking for an intelligent, thoughtful and capable physical therapist! read more

Only positive things to say about Union PT. I've been working with Dustin for ~5 months after feeling increase knee pain during marathon training. That is hard to find these days. read more
