Went to their website and created a profile with all of my information and insurance. Before scheduling my first appointment, I called them multiple times and left messages (can't get ahold of anyone) asking if they could confirm the cost using my insurance info. (I checked with my insurance first and they confirmed that this provider was in network, but told me to have them verify appointment cost). Never heard back. It shouldn't be this hard to get in somewhere read more

Going here for PT for shoulder pain. Michael is really good. Set me up with exercises that have been helping me ease the pain and get me stronger. Facility is spacious, clean and good amount of equipment to work with. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good physical therapist. read more

I've been in ongoing therapy at Salmon Bay Physical Therapy for years now, working through stubborn lumbar and SI joint pain. What has meant the most is how consistently my therapist shows up for me -- even on the days when I feel discouraged. My therapist adjusts my plan, reassures me, and reminds me that healing isn't linear. The progress has been slow but so meaningful. I'm moving with less pain and more trust in my body. Her patience and dedication have carried me through some really tough weeks. This clinic deserves every star. read more

With multiple locations and multiple skilled physical therapists, Salmon Bay is our go to for physical therapy. My husband and I are 79 and 75 respectively. We greatly value our mobility and independence. Salmon Bay therapists have guided us over the years to recover from injuries and surgeries (2 hip replacements last year). I have worked primarily with Andi but have happily worked with other therapists at Salmon Bay, as has my husband. We have always received great care and attention, lots of instruction on the body mechanics involved and the exercises to strengthen and recover, with lots of encouragement and motivation. We highly recommend Salmon Bay Physical Therapy. read more

I recommend Salmon Bay Physical Therapy highly. Andi Love is my personal PT. She is highly professional, knowing exactly how the bones and muscles working together. She was very attentive to a patient's needs, and very easy to talk to . She was quick to identify my bad postures, and gave me home-exercises which improved my my bad habits in order to eliminate or reduce my physical pain. She always explained in a very convincing way the benefits offered by the exercises. Right now, I could walk upright with confidence without much reliance to my walking sticks. I could stand up from a crouching position without the help of my hands to pull my body up. The pain of my legs were practically gone. Thank you, Andi. Fanny read more

Grant has been working with me on my recovery from a total knee replacement He is very knowledgeable, patient, fun, attentive but most of all his work on my knee has been extremely successful. My surgeon is impressed. The office is pleasant with easy parking. Now I am going to have Grant work on my balky shoulder. read more

I was exceptionally pleased with the care and attention I recently received from Salmon Bay PT. My PT, Mikey, was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, and worked with me effectively to assist me in accomplishing my rehabilitation goals. I especially appreciated that Mikey took time at the start of each PT session to check in, to explain where we were at in the course of treatment, and to answer my questions about my progress. While future PT isn't exactly something a person looks forward to, if I am in need of it, I will 100% be returning to Salmon Bay. read more

SBPT is quite a long commute for me. But I've been delivering myself to their care for over 10 years. Why such devotion? The honest reason is the treatment I receive is so good I can hardly believe it. My therapist, Andi Love has this remarkable talent to diagnose my ailments precisely, and prescribe very specific exercises to strengthen me in a way neutralizes the pain and weakness. It doesn't happen overnight, but it always happens. So I can always count on getting results. If you are looking for effective PT treatment, I heartily recommend this place with no reservations. read more

I kid you not....if you need a physical therapist, go to Salmon Bay Physical Therapy! Grant specifically was more than amazing. He really makes sure to take the time to not only understand the problem you're having but he is dedicated to finding a solution that works for you. Another thing I really appreciated, was he took the time to explain things to me in ways I understood. He truly goes above and beyond for his patients and you will not be sorry going here. Lastly, the clinic as a whole is very welcoming to all people. They have a great front desk crew that will also go above and beyond to get you in and answer any questions you need. So helpful!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Truly a wonderful place to go for physical therapy! read more

The care I have gotten at Salmon Bay P.T. has made a huge difference in my mobility as I edge ever-closer to inevitable knee surgery. Grant is a great physical therapist who has helped me from the beginning; so supportive and upbeat and knowledgable. I have worked with Jacob, too, and am impressed by how he listens and responds in creative ways to my challenges. Can't imagine a better P.T. place. read more

I've been going to SBPT for over two years now after tearing my ACL and then meniscus in back to back years. I've spent that time with Grant Hennington (who I wholeheartedly recommend), but having been here so often I've also gotten to know a lot of the other PTs by face and demeanor (if not by name). As a whole, this is an OUTSTANDING clinic that cares deeply about their patients and staff in equal measure, and provides thoughtful and effective therapeutic care across the board. I would strongly encourage you to look into SBPT if you're facing any type of recovery that needs the specialized attention of a physical therapist. read more

Highly recommend this PT clinic. Talented and skilled therapists, (mine is Claire Storck), provide challenging exercises, motivation, guidance and targeted massage. I've learned how best to tape my knee and to strengthen from my gluts on down so my FOOT surgery rehab can progress efficiently. The entire staff; including front desk are friendly and helpful. The clinic offers many classes; ski conditioning and Pilates to name a few. read more

Salmon Bay Physical Therapy is such a great place for all your PT needs. Scott is such a great physical therapist, he's helped me recover from some rotator cuff pain that made it hard for me to work. Not only that, he listens to all my symptoms and thoroughly explains how all the hands on work and exercises will help me longterm. I would definitely recommend SBPT! read more

Had an ankle injury that I have had 2 surgeries for. I didn't go here for that [unfortunately]. However I was a little too reliant on my cane and messes up my shoulder. That's what I came here for. Because this is a satellite injury on an L&I claim it took over a year to get in to get it worked on. After just 2 sessions the difference has been notable. I've been going for over a month and only have a few appointments left, and look forward to having most if not full use of my arm/shoulder again. What I am not looking forward to is leaving them. I love how friendly everyone is and how dedicated to making you better they are. If I ever need PT again this is where I will go. read more

I have been a client of Salmon Bay PT for about two years. I had originally had fell off a latter about 14feet up in the air and when I lost my balance, I dropped with only flip-flops on & the floor that I fell onto was cement. Well I crushed both of my heels and was an able to walk for about a year. Thinking I new how to walk properly, I would rehabilitate my ankles on my own. Well what a mistake that ended up to be. I just ended up with more problems. Since my doctor had recommend Salmon Bay and Tucker to help improve my way of life he has been wonderful. All of the staff really listen to what your needs are and help with correcting your own issues. I highly recommend Salmon Bay Physical Therapy! Thanks a bunch to all of you, David Anderson read more

Kandace Shoell has been beyond brilliant, helpful, and supportive. She works from deep knowledge of up-to-date research on the body's pain system, including chronic pain, as well as body mechanics, and is also extremely kind, compassionate, and supportive. PT Claire is very kind and listens attentively to my feedback. She is cautious when appropriate, but also pushes me to do more. She trusts me to do well on my own, which may not be a good pairing for someone who is not motivated on their own, but she may be different with someone who needs more supervision. I only know how she acts with me. I really like her, and the staff has all been very kind to me. I went last summer, and again this winter, and would go again if necessary. read more

I primarily worked with Andi, but I was impressed with everyone I worked with on the staff. They're professional and thoughtful and were very outcome-oriented, which I liked. A different PT place I went to in the past was happy doing the same thing week after week as I didn't get better. I certainly don't hope to need PT again, but if I do I'll go to Salmon Bay. read more

Grant Hennington is awesome! He listened and understood my problem and created interesting exercises to help reduce pain and get me on my way to full recovery. I did my ACL reconstruction rehab at Salmon Bay last summer/fall and am now taking my daughter there for Scoliosis PT. If physical therapy is something you need, you'll be in great hands at Salmon Bay. The pros: - times that work with our schedules - easy-to-follow instructions and take home exercises - good-natured therapists who are encouraging, empathetic and kind - sessions are designed around your specific needs, are clearly explained and never feel generic or irrelevant - progress and goals are laid out and help with motivating home practice - there's always a parking space available - very comfortable environment - super important in those early days when you may be more flail than grace Cons: - me writing this review may mean less appointments available that work with my schedule read more

The care and treatment I have received at Salmon Bay Physical Therapy has been top notch, not only from my physical therapist Tucker, but the entire team which includes the front office staff!!! I am recovering from surgery and Tucker is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, understanding and encouraging. These are important qualities when you are in recovery. He also has a wonderful sense of humor which greatly helps to keep my mind off any discomfort or pain I may feel during therapy. This is by far the best physical therapy experience I have had to date. I feel challenged in a positive, healthy way and I would highly recommend Salmon Bay Physical Therapy to anyone. Great location, hours, very clean, comfortable and free parking. read more

I highly recommend Salmon Bay PT. I broke my tibia and fibula in March and spent about eight weeks of rehab with the team at Salmon Bay. I saw Tucker, Andi, and Chris because of my changing schedule and really liked working with all of them. One of the best parts of Salmon Bay is that it offers full hour long appointments and the PTs spend the entire hour with you, instead of being handed off to an assistant. During my hour long appointments, we would focus on increasing joint mobility, working and strengthening and balance exercises, as well as helping the skin and muscle tissue recover from the surgery. The team was encouraging and kept me focused on my goal of running by August. I took my first run around Green Lake the other day! read more

Salmon Bay Physical Therapy is one of the few therapy places left where you will receive one on one treatment by a physical therapist your entire visit (no aides working with you)! I have been to many different Physical Therapy facilities, and I have never gotten this one on one treatment every visit. I suffered a severe pelvic fracture over 3 months ago. Andi, the PT I see there, has figured out how to help my pelvic pain go away. She really knows her stuff. She has done remarkable things to help me heal and also help my pain go away. No other PT has been able to help me. I will never go to a different Physical Therapy facility! This is it! read more

Salmon Bay Physical Therapy is a small, clean, ambitious clinic with a friendly, enthusiastic staff offering personalized service. If you are looking for professional, affordable, individualized treatment and results I highly recommend it. Thank you Salmon Bay Physical Therapy! I lucked out when I found this place. I was totally bummed out about my injury. Around July 1st 2013, I climbed (and fell) resulting in a pretty serious compound fractures--breaking my tibia, fibula, foot, ankle and Pilon--a peculiarly necessary piece looking like a mortar and pestle that fits into your ankle. I also had extensive nerve problems, cartilage and tendon, scar tissue, severe swelling and other troubles resulting from injury immobilization and surgery. My Orthopedic surgeons said this was the second most difficult operations they perform (and it felt like it.... ) Then around eight weeks post-surgery they wanted me to shop for a physical therapist. THAT is the all-important phase when your rehab really begins, when your physical therapy starts. I arrived at Salmon Bay Physical therapy clinic--hungry for knowledge and recovery. Amber and Chris immediately made me feel at ease and "got it" my problems were quickly analyzed and we got going on a program to get me going. Impressively they understood the psychological and well as the physical aspects of injury (you are scared, hurt, and wary of moving something that your first instincts tell you not to move because of pain, etc... THIS is IMPORTANT! If there are two things you really need in this condition - it is encouragement and encouragement. Chris's enthusiasm for was contagious and I could tell he loved his profession. I realized the uphill battle I face getting "back on the horse" but the crew at Salmon Bay PT has definitely been a HUGE help. I could tell they wanted to get me up moving and exercising and hopefully back in action. I am currently working with Lisa another fabulous Physical Therapist. I am starting to bare some weight now and taking some small steps, which feels fantastic! Good luck to you. read more

I worked with Scott at Salmon Bay Physical Therapy to rehab after knee replacement surgery. He was very kind and encouraging. He started me out slowly and kept challenging me a little more at each session, but not too much that I couldn't handle it. I would gladly return to Salmon Bay if I need to in the future, and highly recommend Scott. The atmosphere is pleasant and there was always parking available. read more

I did something weird while working on the plane and pulled my neck muscle. This caused migraine like headaches for 10 days and I couldn't do a thing. Katie is my lifesaver! I felt tremendous relief after my first session and after the a couple of weeks I got back 50-60% of my neck movement. I only wish I went to her sooner. After 4 weeks of PT, I am almost back to normal :) :) read more

This is a great place. I've had physical therapy before but never anything this good. So far I've seen two separate staff members and there is no disconnect. This makes it easy to schedule and stay on track. I look forward to going and the exercises and therapy are spot on. Not much more to say except thanks! read more

I recently completed 8 weeks of physical therapy for sciatica at Salmon Bay with Tucker and would really recommend Salmon Bay P.T. Nice friendly atmosphere, convenient neighborhood location with easy parking. I thought the sciatica would never go away but Tucker developed a therapuetic exercise program which really helped. Just don't ever tell him, "That was easy!" because you'll get harder exercises! Just kidding, but seriously, Salmon Bay will help you resume your normal activities. read more

It's difficult to say enough that is positive. I was hit by a car in 1998 and have had surgery and numerous levels of care for sciatic pain since then. I've seen many physical therapists and back pain specialists, but in pairing with my doctor and Salmon Bay Physical Therapy, I found more relief than I'd ever had. The entire staff is courteous and professional, and their level of expertise and explanations of what they were doing was impressive to me. I have a good basic knowledge of the central nervous system and appreciated being treated as a professional and being given as much information as I could digest. My back always felt better after treatment, and the effects have been long-lasting. I would refer any family member or friend to them without reservation. If I go back to therapy, it will be with these people. Tim Freeman, Ph.D. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Andy Love, one of the owners of and a brilliant physical therapist at Salmon Bay PT even before it was founded, when she was working at a ProFormance Rehab in Seattle. I was referred to her by my doctor after having visited multiple physical therapy specialists when I was desperate to put myself together after a car accident. I was so impressed by her highly competent and effective approach, not to mention her warm and cheerful personality, that when Salmon Bay PT was founded, I followed Andy and became her eternal patient. Over the years, time and time again, Andy has taken me out of challenging situations. Salmon Bay PT is not close to my job place or to my home, and still I am happy to drive extra to reach this place where everybody is willing to go an extra mile for me. read more

I was very excited to receive a doctor's referral to Salmon Bay after I read the positive Yelp reviews, and I felt very optimistic going in to my initial appointment. However, the reality fell short of my expectations. Things started well with a very cheery greeting at the front desk, but the appointment itself was disjointed at best. This was an initial consultation for treatments following an injury, and without clearing with me in advance of the appointment, they made their intern the primary person on my case. During the appointment the supervising physical therapist, who failed to introduce himself, was largely quiet other than nodding approbation at the intern as she gazed at him expectantly after she tentatively performed each step, or briefly speaking to her as I if was not even present. While I appreciate that everyone needs to get experience at some point, I think I should have been asked about this in advance. For an initial consultation at least, I really would have preferred to receive the hands on experience and advice of one of the on staff experts. Otherwise, one might as well go in to an outpatient clinic at a school for a discounted fee. I am not critiquing the intern who seemed very nice, and I would certainly have been willing to let the intern get practice during subsequent visits, but this seemed wholly inappropriate as a starting point to build on for success. I personally did not have confidence in the tentative examination approach combined with the impersonal attitude of the supervising therapist, and I felt like I left with few explanations and a general feeling of unease in the process . It is a shame, since I really thought they would be able to help me based on other reviews. I know what a positive impact a good physical therapist can have on injury recovery, having consulted with a different clinic several years ago for a different injury. read more

I was seen by PT Grant Hennington and was completely impressed by how thorough and professional he was when accessing my injury. He tested range of motion, my strength, running gait and asked about my pain levels all while listening to my perspective and journey as an athlete.
