I came in with a nagging right knee injury as a result of weightlifting/squatting, after a referral from my PCP officially diagnosing me with 'bursitis'. I started working with Brian, who identified a series of weaknesses on my right foot and leg, which is unsurprising considering the amount of injuries I've had on it. It helps to know your coach has plenty of experience weightlifting/powerlifting as well. After a couple of months in PT, I'm happy to report that the knee pain is gone and I'm back to squatting! Christina Palumbo is incredible. For the first time in my lifetime playing sports/being active, I somehow ended up with an out-of-the-blue injury - a hip strain. One morning, I went out for a run and was in such bad pain mid-run that I struggled to walk back home. The pain never went away. It hurt anytime I tried to run, and there was always some level of discomfort, even walking. I had no idea where to go or what to do, but I decided to start with GO PT after some online research. I called and spoke with someone about my situation. She recommended seeing Christina, who is not only a great therapist but also an avid runner. I can't say enough about my experience. Christina was excellent from start to end. Because we didn't know what happened (we think it may have been a combination of unique circumstances), Christina was fantastic about helping to rule out what it wasn't as not to perpetuate additional problems. She also had a game plan from day one, which started with gradual movement/exercises, followed by increased activity with incremental runs, eventually getting me back to 100% again, which happened within a month and a half. Based on how I initially felt, I still can't believe Christina got me there so quickly. She also gave me some good tips to help prevent something like this from potentially happening again. If you're ever in need of PT, give GO PT a try and ask for Christina. read more

My introduction to GO PT, specifically Brian Marsh, started early last spring. I had been in excruciating pain for months (entirely due to my own stubbornness and unwillingness to take time off work). The pain eventually decreased, but numbness and tingling started from the top of my right glute going down the back of my leg to the bottom of my foot and then terminating an inch or so back from the second or third toes. On my initial consultation with Brian, I described everything above and he had an answer for me in moments. He started working with me that day, and then 2 days a week for the next 2 months. Some days were tough, but Brian picked up on that and would be sure to distract me from the pain via conversation and humor, all while making sure I was finishing the regimen. I don't know how typical my results are, but I am now completely pain free and have had no further numbness and/or tingling. I do know that having performed quite a bit of research before going to PT that there are a lot of people out there with similar issues who have been to see PTs who couldn't help them. After having completed the research and prior to my time w/GO PT & Brian, I was resigned to the fact that I would likely have to live with this for the rest of my life. Thankfully I got over that, got myself into PT, and met Brian. Cool guy, great PT. If I ever end up with any other issues, I'll be going to him. Everyone else I met while n the care of GO PT was fantastic- the front office staff were friendly, professional, and able to multitask extremely well. Checking multiple people in while taking phone calls and processing payments isn't easy, but they made it look that way. If you're in pain, you owe it to yourself to address it. Andrew Wilson has been able to help me with several injuries, old and new. With each visit I've gained strength, had pains resolve, and have become a better athlete. He has helped me immensely in transitioning to barefoot/minimalist running. He's highlighted dysfunction and taught me stability. I have been impressed with his diagnostic ability and efficient treatments. I'll mention one injury in particular. I went in with back pain which I thought was primarily due to muscle imbalances from my 6 year old T-12 fracture. Andrew found a different story: scar tissue from a mole excision, that I'd considered a cosmetic issue, was causing me a lot of pain and dysfunction. With some myofacial release and an acupressure cup, the pain was essentially fixed in a single visit and I was left with an entirely different understanding of my posterior kinetic chain. I loved working with Michael and GO PT. I came to Michael with a torn labrum and little faith I would be able to do my "normal" activities, let alone reach the goals I have for myself (pull-ups, yoga, swimming, golf, etc.) Michael kept the hope and with consistency we were able to go from barely functioning to stronger than ever. He helped my recovery at my pace, and his PT massages were excellent. I feel confident in my shoulder post-injury and have since corrected and strengthened how I move in both arms. From the beginning, Go PT made it easy to schedule appointments and process insurance. They consistently followed up if anything wasn't perfect (as it sometimes goes with insurance) and made it easy for me to fill out paper to re-qualify when I needed additional care. I can't say enough great things about GOPT. I've had my fair share of injuries and have gone to several other PT clinics for knee, shoulder, and ankle problems and most recently to rehab a broken leg. The therapists at GOPT are some of the best that I've ever worked with. They are friendly, professional, and will do what they can to ensure that you are making progress towards your goals. I left my last physical therapist with skepticism about being able to find someone that cared about my improvement and could provide me with the care that I was hoping for. I found GOPT through their website and loved how easy they make it to evaluations and appointments online. I mostly worked with Becky to get me back to high level activity after breaking my leg, and then through a second surgery. She used a combination of manual therapy and exercises to get me where I wanted to be and consistently checked in with me to make sure we were checking off all the boxes I wanted to. Mike is a fantastic therapist, I cannot recommend him (and GO-PT) highly enough! We first began working together shortly after I had orthopedic shoulder surgery in late September. I was scared and confused about the pain and new sensations I was experiencing, and his competence and gentle, caring demeanor were immediately apparent. So was his knowledge. His non-prescriptive approach allowed us to try out different stretches and exercises to minimize unnecessary pain while ensuring that I healed, and achieved my treatment goals. Thanks to him, I not only have full range of motion in my shoulder, but I can do full pull-ups! This wildly exceeded my expectations of where I thought I'd be 5-months post-op. Outside of my shoulder, Mike and I have also worked to quell lingering issues with plantar fasciitis and chronic foot pain. I was walking less and was desperate for solutions. Again, his approach, attitude, and devotion has paid off. I feel SO much more confident in my ability to handle hiking trips and an upcoming mountaineering trip with the advice dispensed and progress we've made in just a few months. I can't recommend this practice highly enough. I went to Mike for shoulder pain that didn't seem to be getting better on its own. He immediately zeroed in on the issue, patiently answered my questions, and came up with an exercise plan I could easily follow. Over the following months, I made tons of progress, and all the while he helped me adapt the home exercises to my progress and my week-to-week situation. (A common one for me: "I'm traveling for two weeks. What should I avoid doing, and what are the bare minimum exercises that I can pull off in a hotel room?" That helped ensure I would actually do *something* while traveling, and I never felt judged for asking to pull back when I needed to.) Don't let the sports medicine specialization put you off if you don't think of yourself as athletic - I'm a wannabe strength trainer and jogger at best, and was totally comfortable. read more

GO PT is just plain amazing. I saw Mike for my shoulder injury and I couldn't have hoped for anyone better. He has a deep understanding of the human body and explains whats going on amazingly well, uses scientific data and statistics for every decision and explains his choices with reasoning. I'm truly grateful for the hard work he puts in to stay up to date with research and doing everything possible to help us. I had a shoulder dislocation a couple years ago which then didn't happen for 2 years after which it suddenly happened a bunch of times really easily again. I went to see a couple of doctors and also Mike at GO PT. My doctor was recommending surgery but it was Mike who finally convinced me. He came at me with stats and data and showed exactly why it made sense for me. It was really easy to share my doubts which really made me comfortable with the choice. I particularly liked his drive to understand where I'm coming from and then sharing all the info he could. After the surgery, I loved that he was pushing me to get in a better shape as fast as I could. He always kept me motivated and excited with upcoming physical plans and setting fun goals like snowboarding/boxing/swimming again. I was teaching fitness and dancing regularly at the time I suffered a hip/glute/back/neck injury being rear-ended. I had sought out a laundry list of providers for help, but was only receiving generic blanket treatment, resulting in months of frustration (and pain!). I finally found GO PT -- treatment is serious here and tailored exactly to what YOU need whether you've had surgery, been in an accident, are an athlete, have a work injury, or just want to live your best life without nagging pain. Specifically, my PT Mike (the owner) is incredibly passionate about the human body and dedicated to finding the root cause of your issue, and is especially devoted to getting you back to your normal activities. He is very personable, aware, empathetic, skilled, and a great teacher. He even watched videos of ballet classes that I sent him so that he could tailor my sessions to the movements I wanted to get back into. Who does that?! Mike also recommended working with Christina on occassions that he was booked out, and she was absolutely lovely to work with as well. I'd recommend any of his staff from what I've seen. GO PT accepts most insurance, validates parking (free!), has easy online booking, is clean, modern, and has a very friendly, down-to-earth environment. Appointments are an hour long to give you a full opportunity to voice exactly how you're feeling, give time for education, manual therapy, and exercises on the floor. You'll always be sent home with clear exercises and techniques specific to your injury and the tools you have accessible at home or in your gym. I found GO PT on the web and consider myself very lucky to have done so. I actually began getting PT before seeing a physician, recognizing that my hip issues might benefit from PT. Soon after starting with Gene (several months ago) I was diagnosed with hip arthritis and PT was the recommended course of action. I have been seeing him twice a week this entire time and the benefits have been tremendous; not only do I have much greater and more comfortable mobility, he has worked with me on balance and strength in addition to range of motion with my hip. The team at GO PT is professional, helpful, friendly and easy to work with. I have felt 100% comfortable with my sessions during the time of Covid. Gene has been a superb PT for me, and my only regret is that due to an impending move I will no longer be able to work with him; thankfully, he is helping me to identify a PT in my new home city. I had the pleasure of working with Arianne Mason for my post elbow surgery rehab after fracturing my radial head in a bicycle accident. After my surgery, I was very concerned about my arm's limited range of motion. Arianne was great at motivating me to do my best during our stretching and exercises and at communicating my at-home exercises, which resulted in my regaining full mobility, range of motion, and leading me on the path to increased strength. I have nothing but the highest praise for Mike. Earlier this year I hurt my shoulder while rock climbing. I initially thought it was minor but it didn't go away and deteriorated until I had trouble with daily tasks. I went to see Mike in order to see what's up. During the first session, Mike gave me an excellent explanation of the various factors at play in my shoulder. Instead of just diagnosing me, Mike explained all the possibilities and how the routine he'd like me to do will help me. The routine immediately had an impact and I was able to resume daily life. To get back into climbing, Mike changed my shoulder routine. Last week I was able to climb for the first time in months and I've never felt better. In addition to his PT expertise, Mike is also great to talk to. We've had fantastic conversations about a variety of topic and he really takes the time to know you as a person, not just a patient. I came to GO PT a year and a half after I had ruptured my Achilles' tendon. I had gone to another PT after my surgery and really didn't know enough to see that at the time they were not that great. After my symptoms flaired up I decided I'd had enough and went to GO PT. I was impressed from my initial appointment when I met with Andrew. Over several months he helped me to identify and strengthen the various muscles that were causing my pain due. Scheduling appointments is easy. Paying my bill is easy. The facility is very clean and everyone is friendly. Andrew was great. I had been living with leg/knee pain for years and thought it would be something that I would need to deal with for the rest of my life, but in the first session Andrew diagnosed the issue and with targeted exercises within a few weeks the pain was completely gone and hasn't returned in the months that have followed. The space was clean and welcoming, and once Andrew saw that I was doing better he suggested cutting the frequency of the visits and then ending them entirely, which shows that GoPT is trustworthy and not out to keep you coming more than is necessary. As a first-time physical therapy patron, I was skeptical that it could address a workout-related injury definitively. But I had an excellent experience with GO PT and therapist Becky P. She identified the problem area, set a baseline to measure progress, used both in-office and at-home exercises as well as massage, adjusted as I made progress, correctly estimated how long treatment would take, and followed up to ensure that the results had stuck. Taylor and Josh, I overheard your conversation about firing someone with mental illness and how she seemed miserable. Didn't get to do lots of session due to personal reason, but Brian was super helpful.

My entire experience at GO PT was outstanding. The location, space, and all of the therapists contributed to my full recovery of a herniated disc cause by a sport injury. I worked with Michael in most of my sessions. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personal. He tailored the entire recovery with positivism and leverage my personality to speed up recovery. He explained very throughly every exercise and later followed up by email with a tailored exercise plan for the week. Due to him, I can go back to my normal activities and continue exercising, practicing sports, hiking, etc. I felt the rest of the team was as well qualified and the front desk was always available for any scheduling or insurance/billing needs. Like all reviews here, Mike is simply amazing. He takes the time to understand your problems, goals, and methods that work for you to achieve those goals. By being non-prescriptive, you get the individual attention you need to heal FAST. I have had ankle problems for years due to soccer, and Mike got me back up and running faster than any previous physical therapist I had been to. He also does not stop once you are healed, but then works to help you build the strength in the right areas to prevent the problem from recurring. My only wish is that there were earlier/later times to go as it's hard to take the time off work! read more

I cannot say enough good things about GO PT! I had been seeing a chiropractor who was adjusting me 3x a week and ultimately ended up with whiplash. Was referred by my primary Doctor to see dr Domingo and have heard great reviews but I couldn't make it past Taylor who I was on the phone with. She was very impolite from the get go, our conversation was cut short when she ended our phone conversation abruptly. I asked if there was someone else I can talk to schedule an appointment but she insisted that I schedule online and didn't give me much detail as to how. As a Marine I did not expect to be treated so abominably. My advice is to work on your front desk so you won't lose any paying customers, especially those who are serving the country you're living in. read more
