We also stop at this I-5 Arco on the way out, as it seems to have the "cheapest" gas. This time around, gas prices on the Oregon side seemed to be a bit higher than California, which is a switch. However, the big bonus in this "mini-serve" environment was that the guy at the pumps actually washed my windows and did a really good job!

This Shell right off Interstate 5 in Ashland qualifies for such a stop. They have a nice convenience store, drive through car wash and if the mood strikes there is a fancy cannabis shop across the street that usually has a food truck parked in front. This is our stop for gas and restroom break when we travel through the area. Clean restrooms and reasonably priced gas. Worth the stop!

There is no sign to that effect and the nice man at the register handed me the key without a question. When I came back out she followed me inside and I decided that I wouldn't buy anything after that, thanked the gentleman and headed to the car. She proceeded to yell at the employee. My point to this is, how did she know I wasn't going to buy anything? And given the number of times we have bought gas from them and never used the bathroom is probably around 11-12. So I gave him another card asked for 20. That went through. this morning I got notification that my card was ran for 76.00 then 24.00 and my other card for 20. shady!! So check your statement!
