Growing up in California you have to pump your own gas so it was just really weird. When i pulled up to the gas station i was just chilling in my car and rolled down my window. I wasn't sure what to say so i just told him i wanted regular and i gave him my credit card. That worked out perfectly and then he asked me if i wanted him to wash my windshield. I know it is part of his job, but i felt bad so i told him that i could do it myself and i did. haha. The guy topped it off for me and we were back on our way. Having people pump your gas is good, it creates more jobs.

I'd gotten an extremely high quote from another Ashland mechanic and was considering doing the work myself. Valley View Auto Repair quoted a very fair - and much lower than the other outfit - price and were able to do the work the next day. When I picked up the car, the bill was less than they had quoted me, as the scope of needed work was less. And the car is perfect again! I really believe these are some honest mechanics that want to do right by their customers. I will be back next time something goes wrong with one of my cars.

If they know better, then why is the issue still not fixed? I have ran the problem through every AI and got the same answer, I've talked to 17 mechanics, all agreed that the issue was what I told them. But these scammers, refuse to do their job. On top of that, I dropped it off with a full tank of gas, took them over a month to get it back to me, and the gas tank was empty? There's no explanation for a full tank of gas to be gone, with them just doing test drives or starting it to idle, they clearly did something else that used a full tank of gas, in a car that's extremely fuel efficient. I'm reporting them to the ASE, and BBB avoid them at all costs

My 2009 Subaru Forester was in great condition beforehand. The damage happened here. I told the employee at the booth, who called over the assistant manager, Tyler. Tyler was rude and combative from the start. He handed me an incident report with a disclaimer stating the business isn't responsible for damage to cars over 10 years old. I refused to sign it. He also refused to give me contact information for the general manager or any insurance information, and instead gave me the phone number for a different location across town. When I called it, I spoke to two more "assistant managers" who said I'd have to wait for the actual manager before anything could move forward. Total runaround. If a business damages a customer's car, that should be handled between insurance companies, not decided unilaterally by the business that caused the damage. Of course they're going to say it's not their fault. I ended up waiting in the parking lot for over an hour for the general manager, Dustin, to show up. When he finally arrived, he walked straight to my car and started inspecting and touching the damaged bumper without a word. No introduction, no acknowledgment that I was right there. I was alone in the back of that parking lot with two men telling me their business wasn't responsible for damage they caused, and Dustin's whole demeanor made it clear he had no intention of being cordial about it. When I pointed out that he hadn't even introduced himself before putting his hands on my car, his response was, "If this is how we're starting off, it's not going to end well." That's not how a manager should speak to a customer, period. It came across as a thinly veiled threat, not customer service. He was short, dismissive, and clearly agitated that I'd pushed back at all, like I was the problem for expecting basic decency after his business damaged my property. At no point did he attempt to de-escalate, apologize, or treat the situation with any professionalism. If your business damages a customer's vehicle, the bare minimum is: reimburse the cost of the service that caused the damage, treat the customer with respect, and carry insurance to cover it. Instead, I got aggression and intimidation from the person in charge. Worst $11 I've ever spent. Dustin and Tyler both need serious training in how to handle conflict without becoming hostile toward customers.

There's also a customer service desk in the middle of the store where you can get your lotto tickets. Prices seem to be average. They didn't have what I was looking for. I did get some water. The car wash itself was great, it managed to remove a long road trip's worth of bugs from the grill and the tires were looking fantastic. The self vacuum station was quite impressive. It had spacious parking, the vaccum's had strong suction, plentiful clean towels that were being constantly replenished and ample bottles of window cleaner. We couldn't ask for more. Now let's get into the extras of a rather unconventional car wash trip. Just as we were about to leave, my husband got into a little fender bender with another vehicle (absolutely no fault of the car wash). They immediately came to check up on us and make sure everyone was ok, offered us a comfortable place to sit in the AC while the police made a report, brought us all (police included) ice cold bottles of water and then... they continued to take the time to check up on us the entire time we were there. They went well above customer service even though they were frankly quite busy and nothing was expected from them. They just really cared. I then had to call several weeks later on behalf of my insurance to obtain the camera footage and not only was Nathaniel incredibly helpful and warm, he then took the time to format the video for me, not once, but THREE times. He called twice to check up and make sure I was able to open the file, checked w the insurance to make sure they got it and provided several other solutions if that should fail. He really invested himself into helping in whichever way he could ands never once made me feel like I was putting him out. Thanks Happy's and Nathaniel! I couldn't recommend you enough.

Turned out we had a huge screw bolt in a tire and despite plugging it for free, while good for a short term, the young gentleman feared it better we get a tire replacement before make the long journey home. He managed to find a tire shop in Medford open on Sunday! And he got a price quote. King Tires & Wheels. He sent us on our way refusing any payment. We gave him a tip of gratitude.
