I'm very disappointed…read more Our 2016 Ford Edge suffered a cracked flywheel, a known recall issue with our model year (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10218899-0001.pdf). The Butler Ford in Ashland service team identified the issue immediately as a recall problem and assured us they could fix it at no cost. That made us happy, as this is an expensive fix (about $3400). But then, after a day of back-and-forth phone calls, they told us that our car was too old for the recall benefit to apply, and we would have to pay the full amount. ' Not even an appeal to Ford's "Goodwill" division made a dent in this decision. So -- there's a known defect in the way the car was manufactured, but Ford refuses to honor it's own customer service recall. It makes no sense. The defect in the car doesn't go away just because the car gets older. It's still there, lurking, waiting to crack the flywheel and make your car inoperable. That's what happened to us, and it could happen to you. We also had to repeatedly ask if we could have a loaner car for our 1-car family to use while this expensive repair was being done. They finally allowed us to rent a car for $30/day. The repair took over a week. There are lots of ways this could have gone to so that Butler Ford of Ashland could keep us as customers. Needless to say, we're very dissatisified. As a result of this experience, we will never buy a Ford again, not from Butler Ford in Ashland, not from any Ford dealer. Ever.

We were passing through Medford towing a 20k lb toyhauler with our Ram 3500 duality. On a quick…read morevisit to crater lake, we noticed a shimmy from the front passenger side. Got back to our RV and noticed the front end seemed toed out by about half an inch. Called a couple shops that were getting 5 stars on yelp and they highly recommended custom automotive. Talked to Roy and he worked us into his schedule considering our travel plans. He called out a broken belt on one of the front tires that we had not noticed. Being carpy OEM tires we decided to have them all replaced which required us to go to a tire shop. What Ram puts junk tires on a $70k truck I can't understand. Roy had us bring the truck back to him so he could recheck the alignment. Truck drives like it should have off the lot. Roy and team managed our issue, performed their alignment and inspected our front end to ensure we were safe to travel and the cost was extremely reasonable! Thank you Roy and custom automotive for taking care of us. You guys are awesome.

I stopped here on the way up to Oregon and i knew that there are people that pump your gas for you…read more I was so excited because this was the first time getting gas in Oregon and they pump your gas for you. Growing up in California you have to pump your own gas so it was just really weird. When i pulled up to the gas station i was just chilling in my car and rolled down my window. I wasn't sure what to say so i just told him i wanted regular and i gave him my credit card. That worked out perfectly and then he asked me if i wanted him to wash my windshield. I know it is part of his job, but i felt bad so i told him that i could do it myself and i did. haha. The guy topped it off for me and we were back on our way. Having people pump your gas is good, it creates more jobs.
