I used my Apple Pay and payment accumulated within the duration of the use of the hose and cleaning brush to clean my car. Not bad for $4! I used the 2nd bay from the left with my credit card (think the coin slots weren't working). Next tim I'll make sure that the wash dial is turned to rinse rather than presoak to begin with, as the presoak setting didn't have much power. Be careful with the soap brush; it's been fixed with a metal clamp close to the brush head that's kinda sharp. I like that you can use your credit card to pay. Just be sure to hit the green button (pix of this on earlier reviews) when you're done so it'll stop charging your card. read more

The pay machine didn't take cash, but there was no sign stating it was out of order. I don't know how many quarters I pumped into it before realizing it wasn't registering. Some quarters came back when I hit the eject button, but it was jamming. I don't like using cards at these kinds of businesses. One bay (out of 3) was blocked off. I was going as fast as I could, but cars started lining up. I finished the wash, and then pulled into the closed bay to towel off my car. read more

Love this carwash the services here are great however multiple time i have used my debit card on the carwash and racked up the money to around $5 and after pressing done it charges me $10. This also applies to the other services like the vacuum and the little trees car refreshener repeatedly charged $10 each. what should have been around a $8-$10 dollar carwash turned into $30. read more

Good water pressure and the vacuums are nice. I think they're new. The old man running it is hilarious, he's 80 and still working! I noticed the bad reviews about using credit cards. Where you swipe your card it reads "press green button to end charges". I think people are confusing with the dial for choosing settings with the option to "stop". That doesn't stop charges only the button with the green light. Also a tip, make sure to spray water on the brush before you use it, in case someone before had a muddy rocky messy truck you don't want to scrub your nice car with that! read more

The scrolling sign in the bay says $1.75 to start. The sign on the machine that takes your money says $2.00. When yo swipe your card you're charged $3.00 and there is no timer. It will continue to charge you until you press the button on the credit card reader. Even if you turn the dial to off, it will continue to charge you. Signage regarding this is poor. All the bays except one were operational. The equipment that I used operated well. The brush hangs vertical rather than horizontal and when turned on makes a mess. Vaccum is $1.25 Be cautious parking at vacuum as on of the blocks has rebar sticking out and could catch the bumper. read more

Coming from LA, where I pay a lot more for self-service car wash, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The credit card system isn't something I'm familiar with in LA, but it works well. And I guess from there it really depends on how dirty your car is, or how fast you are in washing it. I read a few negative reviews. Maybe there's a new owner, who knows. I have gone there for many years but recently I've noticed that despite the price registering as $4.25 on the meter, a bill for $10.00 has shown up twice on my credit card. This last time I made sure I stopped the timer by pressing the button where you slide the card and by turning the setting on the dial to stop. I think will be going else where from now on. read more

Great car wash. The wash bays take quarters or credit cards. There are two change machines on the property, one was broken when I went but the other worked just fine. Trash cans to clean out your interior and vacuum that took quarters. Safe location and nice clientele. read more

They conveniently allowed the change machines to be out of order for months. File a complaint with the Oregon Consumer Protection Agency. Lets get these thieving bastards out of Ashland. read more

Ive used this wash for many years, and it has just barely been maintained during that time. Coin changers don't work, fixtures leak onto cars that have been washed, some features of the wash are disabled (like the wax). Nobody seems to care. This needs refurbishment and a new owner. I'm taking my business to Talent. read more

Sometimes the machines don't eat your quarters. Sometimes there isn't mud built up in the brushes. Sometimes the vacuums work. Not usually though. I've been here a few times and I usually regret it. Don't bother coming here unless you have a ton of extra quarters you don't mind wasting, and plenty of extra time you don't mind wasting. read more

This place is horrible. One of the lanes ate my quarters and didn't work, and the quarter machines don't work either. The lane that I finally did get to work was missing several wash settings and cut me off a minute early. The phone number goes to a voice mail that isn't set up, and there's no attendant on site. The change machine didn't work, the vacuum lacked suction and the head kept falling off, the car wash took my money and didn't turn on. When I went to find a phone number to call, I couldn't find one, but there was a box to leave comments. The lid was stuck, and I had to force it open and it sliced my thumb with its sharp corner. Ouch. Then I saw a meth-head running towards me speaking in tongues, so I chose to skip the scrap paper message that I doubted would ever be read by the owner anyway, and drove away. Yesterday was one of those beautiful spring days. One that screams that you should wear shorts and flip flops, and go wash all that spring pollen off your car. You know have a little pride in your ride and all that. So knowing it's close to home and gives me a chance to play in the water, imagine a child in the sprinkler in the front yard on a hot summer day..... First the place is a bit hard to find, in other words if you don't know it's there you won't find it, sure the locals like it that way, not so good for business. Anyway after some time driving around I finally find it, my fault not the lack of signage, oh there is none, not even one announcing car wash anyway...... I roll up and the place is busy almost every bay full and every vacuum in use, I said it's a nice day! No worries just going to do a little rinse down get the bugs off, the sand out, you know those summer coast trips. I dig around and get my bottle return money. The bay is clean and lots of new signs about not leaving a greasy mess and so on I appreciate it nothing lot getting your shoes covered in funk washing your car and if you have on flip flops forget it. So far so good! Crisp one dollar bills in hand off to the coin machine, I recommend you bring your own quarters, because this machine is so sensitive that I spent over five minutes trying to change my dollars, no worries I am a very patient person, who enjoys run on sentences. No worries it's just a quick rinse. Mean while I over hear the gentleman who is apparently running the establishment telling one of the customers that this function and that function of the car wash don't work, for example no tire cleaner, no spot free rinse, on and on, no worries it's a quick rinse. Out of five dollars two are changed into quarters, oh well no worries it's a quick rinse. At last I am going to get to play in the water. On the box where you put your quarters is a small sign, please insert quarters slowly, alright I can do that, quarter number one drops fine, every other quarter falls through to the ground and there is no return so I lost a quarter no worries I have seven more. The gentlemen next to me informs me that "that one doesn't work" nice, so what if I got all my quarters in there am I just out of luck? Well now the frustration has reached its peak, one bay is blocked off because it doesn't work, why isn't this one. With a full time paid attendant why do things not work? Why wasn't I informed? Oh it's a self serve car wash only used by collage students and poor people right, I equate the owner to a slum lord who doesn't live in Ashland and sends a teenager from K Falls to do repairs and had what appears to be a homeless man run the place. I proclaimed and did to the fellow next door that I was taking my business elsewhere and he recommended the place in Phoenix which is well worth the drive, so so much for using local business even though it's an unlocalized owner so your money doesn't stay local, think about it. This is not my first experience with this establishment. From my poor memory, last time the vacuum didn't work well, and the hose was broken, however I didn't use them so maybe they are better there were lots of folks using them so......... use at your own risk. read more
