I took my immaculate 2016 mustang gt in to have the brake fluid flushed. I ask if might talk to the man who would do the work and was told no. I explained that my mustang is a low mileage well taken care of car and please be careful with my investment. When they finished the job I drove back to home and as I got close to home I lost all braking (pedal to floor no brakes). I raised the hood and saw brake fluid spilled on my paint and on top of the resevoir. I walked around the car and discovered a rather large puddle of brake fluid under the one of the wheels and all over my very expensive wheel. At this point I jacked the car up and pulled the wheel. Un fortunately it was to late for the wheel as it had been damaged by the brake fluid. The caliper, rotor, brake pads were soaked with brake fluid as well as everything behind the wheel. Needles to say I was crushed as brake fluid is so damaging. I discovered that the bleeder valve had been left loose. I immediately called them to inform them and was told they would redo the job and replace what was damaged. No pads where replaced and I have a wheel that missing its clear coat and pitted badly. They did offer to have the wheel looked at and look at my pads but looking wont help a contaminated brake pad, both front (left and right) pads would need to be replaced and at this point being my 3rd time dropping my car off I chose to do the pads myself and minimize risk of more damage. I will also replace my wheel. One last thing, when I talked to the service manger about what had happened not even an apology nor have I ever received an invoice showing what was done the second time. Air most certainly entered the brake system and I would like to know if they in fact redid a complete bleed on the system and abs block or did they just bleed the caliper that leaked. Never got a call to pick up my car the second time and went back over to Mocks to find my car sitting in the parking lot. 1 star rating for Mock Ford and -1 star rating if it was possible. One last thing I forgot to mention, they managed to hit the front splitter below the bumper and smashed it in and crack it. Lots of my money and time was wasted taking my car to Mocks Ford. This whole affair has been quit depressing and costly for me. read more

This past August I took my 2015 Ford Mustang in to have the air conditioning repaired. This has been a long standing problem with this car, but that is another issue. The big issue with this is that I told KC Kitts the service manager that I had an extended warranty thru Ford Protect. He told me he had checked and that it was not covered . I contacted Ford Protect and was told it was covered and that KC Kitts had to call a certain phone number to verify and get the extended warranty to cover the cost. I told KC this and he kept telling me that my car was not covered. I did end up getting some money from Ford Protect, but not a full amount because Mock had overcharged for the repair. I don't want to go back to deal with them again. Now I have a recall notice for the backup camera, which they supposedly fixed 2 1/2 years ago. read more

Service center employees were rude and disrespectful after I decided to get our vehicle repaired elsewhere.

Very satisfied with the service! Trailering and lost the ECM on my 2024 F-250 - black center console screen, so no cameras for hooking up the trailer, stereo, etc. Worked through Ford's online service and was finally told that I had to take it in. Mock's was the closest Ford dealer and to be honest, I was wary of being an out of towner (from CA) at a small dealership (in OR). The dealership was bigger than I thought, and the garage area was big, clean and organized. Dave in service was very friendly and efficient - I wish I got the guy's name running the garage, but he was a really nice guy and helpful in providing the lay of the land in Grants Pass during my lift to the car rental. The car rental service was 1/3 the price of the big name car rental service I planned to use. Fix was straightforward, and overall a great experience. read more

We recently purchased a vehicle from Mock Ford and traded in our vehicle. I have purchased several vehicles in past and until our last transaction have been satisfied. Upon purchasing our last vehicle the dealer only had one key but told us they had a key in a office and if they couldn't find it they would make us the second key. Every time we went to dealer we were told to come back on Wed. when a certain person would be back, that individual then said the person who probably has our second guy should be in soon and would call us. This was repeated several times. We were never called. The last time we went back to dealer we were told that they would not make us the key. The individual was rude and very disrespectful to us. It appears they lied to us from the start saying they would make it right with us regarding the key. I lost all trust in this business and will never do business with Mock Ford again read more

I Purchased three trucks from Mock's in the past 12 years. One or two purchase with great sale/service, might be a fluke with anyone, but three in a row... Is incredible. They are pretty horrible at: returning phone calls, returning messages, responding to online or website inquiries or appointments. They are quick and have lots of time, if you want to buy a car...anything else, not so much. Compared to other Ford / Lincoln dealers, they are kind of a joke. Not sure why nothing has been done about it over past 2 years. The one bright spot, is Doug in the Service department. They dont have loaner cars, they take forever to get repairs done, and a bad habit of not communicating with you. If a dealer isnt going to take care of me and my auto, then bottom line is, there is no way I will ever buy an auto from them now or in the future. Best option for a Ford or Lincoln? Medford or larger city dealership. read more

My dad bought a used truck (2015 F250 6.7 w/150000ish miles) from them that had to be taken to a mechanic before my dad could even pick it up, that should have been the first red flag. After 5 months and only putting just over 2000 miles on the truck it now needs a new engine. The current shop says there is obvious signs the engine was worked on internally, as bolts were missing from several locations only visible if you took the motor apart. Now my dad has a $25,000 yard ornament and no daily driver as a new engine would cost $15000 and take 2 months to get here. read more

NEVER GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! I called inquiring about a very specific vehicle that was listed on their website and I was told by Melinda on the phone that yes the vehicle is on stock and here on the lot. So I just drove 45 minutes to come here to look at it and guess what... the vehicle was not here!!!! I was then told by another salesman "oh that van has been at the body shop for a month now" This girl Melinda was SO RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. She absolutely did not care even the slightest bit that she gave me the wrong info and did not know what the heck she was doing. The other salesman/manager didn't give a crap either. She mouthed off at me like I was in the wrong when I most certainly was not! You do not talk to a potential customer with that tone and attitude that she had. She has absolutely no business working there and should be fired. And as for the other guy standing there... same with him. He could care less about earning business as well and didn't even try to apologize for her mistake and inconvenience. Time wasted. Gas money wasted. Energy Wasted. NEVER GO HERE AND DO NOT TRUST WHAT IS PUBLISHED ON THEIR WEBSITE This business is absolutely disgusting and you do not deserve business from anyone. I will NEVER step foot in your dealership and I will happily let the public know that your employees are rude and deceitful. read more

Horrible experience!!! Never will I go back! I should take them to court. My story in short and I have all the paper work to back up what I'm saying. I went in for a service call for my 1999 ford explorer inc. typical oil, etc tune-up. They found things and got my car back in eight weeks. Return calls weren't important to them and when I went up the chain the service manager was out sick -- bull shit! Keith Strong was a disservice manager with a monkey mechanic. My god, what a bunch of crap! My service engine light was on and brought it to Kelly's who are awesome. Mock ford failed to change my coolant thermostat but rather did not install one but charged me for the thermostat and work. My appreciation to Kelly's Automotive and Les Schwab for their work on my explorer. Mock Ford as the raven said "never more". read more

My husband bought himself a new to him truck yesterday and can't stop talking about the pleasant experience he had with everyone at Mocks Ford Sales from his sales person Scott to Lance Daniels and Gene Mock. Since he had been considering this for sometime, because he does not replace anything in his life lightly, in fact he had his old Ford truck for over twenty three years which he had purchased from Mocks Ford Sales. This dealership has a problem with communication from their service managers to their floor technicians. They will quote you one price then give you a whole different price when the work is done. Then they won't fix all the problems that are on your car and then try to get you to bring your car back to get a more work done after they said that all the work has been done. This is the worst experience I've had with this dealership since 2011. When you take your car in for one problem, they come back with nine things so a bill that goes from $900 ends up being 5000 by time you leave the floor. read more

Mocks was amazing! We were on a Rv vacation exploring the Oregon coast and as we were leaving California the check engine of our motor home with a Ford E350 came on. I called Mocks and the wonderful service advisor, I forgot to get his name, told me to come in the following day because most of the service technicians were already off work. When we came in the next day we luckily connected with the service advisor I had spoken to previously with the big handsome beard. He connected us with a young female technician, again I apologize we didn't get her name, and her 4 legged assistant, Missy She diagnosed our engine, explaining all the codes, & gave us peace of mind to continue our vacation. I think we were there, at the dealership, maybe 35 minutes. it's so nice to have a business demonstrate this level of customer service! read more

Since 199 was closed, she had to drive over via 101 and 42 to get to Grants Pass. 20 minutes outside of Roseburg and the check engine light on her Ford truck came on. She made it to Mock's with 45 minutes to spare for her chemo appointment. Keith and his team jumped into action and got her over to the rental car office so she could leave her truck for diagnostics and still make it to her appointment. We have been using Mocks Ford for 4 years to work on our vehicles. Until today, I was pleased. Last week, I called to make an appointment for my car because rodents ate the wiring. I called yesterday to find out when the car would be done, they said it was ready. I asked them to check a problem in the 3rd row seat as it wouldn't retract. They said OK and that it would take some time. The Service Advisor (Keith Strong) never mentioned at any time whatsoever that there would be a cost for the diagnosis. They called me and explained what was wrong and how much to fix it ($340 + labor). I said that it would have to wait. Still, no mention of the cost from Strong on the diagnosis. We picked up the car today (Thursday, April1, 2021), and when my wife showed me the bill, I noticed that there was a charge of $159.45. When I got home, I called the Service Adviser to find out what the charge was for. He explained that it was for diagnosing the problem. I asked him why he didn't mention this cost before I approved the diagnosis. He replied," we charge everyone for diagnosing, and if we didn't, we wouldn't make any money." I again asked him why he didn't explain that the cost would be over $150. He never answered me directly, but again said "we charge everybody." I said that I felt it was a bit sneaky not to tell a customer that they were being charged $150 + for the service, and not mentioning it. Keith Strong responded by saying "this is our policy. If you don't like it, talk to Don Mock - I have other customers", and then he hung up on me. I then called Don Mock, an owner and Service Manager. He told me pretty much the same thing. He added to the previous rudeness by saying, "look, everyone knows that we charge these prices, why don't you?" He further added, "If you've been coming here for 4 years, you should know this. We have signs all over the walls in the service bay." He refused to listen to my complaint, and when I asked him if there was any resolution, he responded, "No, there isn't, that's the charge." In any transaction over the last 4 years, we have always been told of the cost prior to authorizing the work. To not follow this prior policy, in my opinion, is not only nefarious, but illegal. I am flabbergasted. Customer service and reputation are the cornerstones of any business's success. For a problem involving $ 159.45, and Mocks Ford's management's unwillingness to resolve it, speaks volumes to their feeling about their customers. Most of the employees that we have dealt with in the past have been courteous, helpful, and professional. It is sad that management appears not to share the same values. The call ended. I felt like I'd been had. For any business to charge a long-term customer, or any customer for that fact, any amount of money without first telling them the charge of the service to be performed, smacks of dishonesty, or an honest mistake, which I believe is the former, as no one in the Mock organization was willing to step up, take responsibility, and try to resolve a long-term customer complaint. That's why I'm posting this. I was basically told that I should have known Mocks' pricing policies, should have read the signs on the wall of the service area (where no one is allowed), and that it's my fault for being naive. I have lost all respect for Mocks Ford, especially these two individuals, and from this day forward, will be taking our vehicles to Butler Ford in Medford. Well, considering that Mocks Ford is unwilling to correct an obvious mistake, or even discuss it, my solutions are two-fold: 1) to file a small claims action against Mocks Ford, and 2) to become a non-customer, as we'll be going to Butler Ford in the future. I am very sad to report this experience, as all businesses in Grants Pass rely and count on our business, and most of these businesses are honest, forthcoming, and friendly. I can cite a few who immediately come to mind: Roe Motors, Adventures in Computing, Beeler Excavation, Logan Design, Home Depot, Point Pest Control, Century 21 J. C. Jones American Dream, and many others. read more

To start, I have always been a Chevy guy. But since my cousin purchased a 2011 F150 with the new ecoboost engine brand new and I got the pleasure of driving it, I had to have one. The twin turbo V6 is just plain awesome. When I wrecked my prized 2004 Chevy 2500HD in December of 2015, I had the excuse to shop for the ecoboost F150. 2015 was the first year of the aluminum body and after test driving a few, I fell in love even more. But, I don't buy new cars. Just can't bring myself to waste thousands of dollars just to get the new car smell. So I bought a 2011 f150 ecoboost from a private party because it was affordable. But, it wasn't optioned properly to have the towing capacity to pull my large travel trailer. I have been waiting all year to find a "used" 2015 F150. I found a blue 2015 platinum at Mock's that had zero miles and figured I could get a great deal on it, so I rushed over to talk to Scott Gigstad, who I was referred to by a good friend of mine who lives in Grants Pass. Scott was extremely friendly and professional and we hit it off immediately. We walked over to the truck that I was excited to look at/ make a deal on. I got ten feet away and the air came out of my sails. It had the V8 engine. I was disappointed because other than that, the truck was exactly what I was looking for. Scott immediately knew what I was looking for, and directed me to a "used" 2016 F150 King Ranch with the ecoboost. I had never even considered a King Ranch because I perceived it as not being as sporty as the Platinum or Limited editions of the F150. I reluctantly walked over to a two toned white and brown truck. Not my taste in color scheme at all. But as I opened the door, I knew instantly I had to have it!! Before I even test drove it, just sitting in the massaging, amazingly beautiful leather seats, I knew I was going to make an offer on it. Well I did and Scott and the team made it happen and made it happen quickly. It's by far the most impressive truck on the road, hands down!!!! It is the best purchase and car buying experience I have ever had in my 42 years. Very, very, very Happy!!! Thank you Scott and the Mock's team!! You guys rock!!!! If you are in the market to buy a car or truck, do yourself a favor and talk to Scott Gigstad first. Period. This truck is SICK!! And that's not a word I normally use. Update: I didn't know Scott until the day I walked in to the dealership. He has become a great friend. Buy a car from him. He is the best car guy you could ask for. And his co workers are awesome too. I am a perfectionist at what I do and know a bad guy instantly when I talk to them. I'm a former Marine and don't deal with stupid people well. I've got Scott's back because he had mine. SemperFi (always faithful) Marine approval! And that says a lot! read more

Oddly, like the other reviewer we were on a road trip from Oakland to Portland when our car over heated. We found a great repair shop , but needed a rental car ASAP. I can only write this review based on their rental car services. But I can tell you that, thanks to Corky (I think that was his name, maybe Corgi?), if I ever were interested in purchasing a vehicle he may be the only person I can trust. Our car broke down on a road trip from Portland to Oakland, California. It was pretty much the worst possible situation. I had two valves that would not hold pressure. Re-Volvo west told me that it would take atleast two weeks to fix (which actually ended up being two months and EXTREMELY expensive....). We were on our to visit family in California for Dr. Andrew's BIRTHDAY and for labor day weekend. Well, it turns out we were going to have to spend four days in Grants Pass because there were no trains or buses out of Grants Pass. The local rental car places were NOT accommodating what soever. Honestly, no one in Grants Pass was that pleasant to deal with. Someone told us that we should try calling the local ford dealer because sometimes they rent out cars. We gave them a call, and luckily we got Corky on the other side. He helped us out and saved us! I am so appreciative of his effort and of Mock's Ford effort in trying to work with us. We were able to rent a car last minute. They closed at 5:00 and he picked us up at around 5:00pm for Re-Volvo west, brought us back to Mock's Ford, let us fill out some paper work, and we were able to get back onto the road. We rented the car for four days and when we returned the car, he even drove us a few miles to the greyhound station so that we could make it back up to Portland. I will never forget this man, as it is REALLY hard to find people who are willing to go out of their way to help you. He is trustworthy, and as I mentioned before, I would LOVE to give him my service. Mock's Ford is lucky to have him. I highly recommend this place! read more

I have been a customer of Mock's Ford for the 3.5 years I have lived in Grants Pass. I have taken my car there for every recommended service and all repairs. I even Purchased my tires and snow socks there. I mean everything for my 2014 Focus Titanium. About six months ago I needed new key fobs and purchased a couple of new ones for abut $200. After about two months the fob I used started sticking. It was under full warrantee. I went in and told the service advisor who said he would work on getting me a new one. A day later I received a call from the service advisor who said the service manager refused to put the request through due to he thought too many scratches to be only two months old. I am incensed at being called a liar as anyone who knows me would attest that is something I don't do. This manager never even met or talked with me. I won't ever go back there again. Since then the dealership lost out on my purchase of a 2019 EcoSport Titanium and my father in law's 2020 F350 Lariat. I hope it was worth it to him. I have also purchased a roof rack and a rooftop luggage carrier for my EcoSport. I hope it was worth it to that service manager feels it was worth calling me a liar... This place gets a zero rating I have been ripped off from the service department several times thinking they won't rip me off the next time but like an idiot I take it back and now they have ripped me off again do not use this place go to Medford and use the dealership out there. Trust me this place will rip you off rip you off rip you off. There are countless things they have done now I take pictures and I record everything I bought a very expensive scanner so I take screenshots of how everything is running and everything is charging and then I take it to the dealership and when they tell me something is wrong like I needed a new alternator I had already taken a snapshot of the charging system I let them replace the alternator and paid the $500 but little do they know this is going to come back and bite them. Also during the summertime they replaced my air conditioning compressor after they did that my air conditioning was not getting very cold in the compressor was short cycling which means turning off turning on turning off turning on so it took a while to cool the cab down. I called the service department several times and always got voicemails I left messages and never received a call back so by this time it was getting towards the end of summer so I texted the service writer directly on his personal phone and he said bring it in or not too busy now so here is what I did just to see how they were going to screw me Captured 90% of the Freon with my recovery system almost all of the Freon out of the system. When I brought the truck to the dealership the service writer called me and told me they evacuated the system and that I needed a new AC dryer, I asked him if the system was low on Freon and he replied no it was fully charged. Now my truck is back at the dealership because the batteries are dead like I told them they were bad when I brought the truck in but I ended up paying $500 for A refurbished alternator. Now they are giving me a hard time even though the batteries are Motorcraft and have the date stamp on the side they are giving us a hard time of course. read more
