I purchased a vehicle from Rigs and Rides on June 24, 2025. I am writing this review on November 18, 2025. As of this date I have not received a title for my vehicle. The dealer has attempted to lay the blame on the Montana Department of Motor Vehicles. I purchased the vehicle in Grants Pass, Oregon. I reside in Montana. The dealer has attempted to lay the blame for the delay on the Montana DMV. I find this very suspicious. Additionally, the dealer told me that two letters were sent to my address in Montana, I did not receive either letter. The letters were supposedly to inform me that there was a delay in the paperwork beyond their control. The dealership has been less than willing to assist me. I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle from Rigs and Rides. I am 67 years old. I have purchased at least 40 vehicles in my lifetime. This has been the worst vehicle purchasing experience of my lifetime. Incredibly incompetent and rude staff once the sale was done. read more

Would not buy from them again. The windshield of the car we bought had been replaced incorrectly and covered up to look correct. Someone had vomited in the floor of the rear driver side. Although they had tried to clean it, it was covered by the mat and we did not catch it. We asked about a smell in the car and they could not smell it, sure! My sons and I began what was a 1 year plus search for a used vehicle for my very disabled friend. My SO and I have spent a few weeks looking for a new car as our daily driver was finally starting to have enough. Instead of putting the money into fixing that car up, we figured we'd by a new-to-us vehicle. It was a long process looking for a car not only in our budget, but also suitable to our needs. There were a few vehicles from this lot that popped up and caught our eye, but there was one in specific we really liked the look of. After contacting my bank and setting up an auto loan, we went down to Rigs & Rides and test drove the vehicle of our choice. Before hand, Craig gave us a splendid pitch on it. He wasn't pushy, and was open with his knowledge on the car. He was also very upfront with us with how Rigs & Rides handles sales, told us we could take the car around town, on the free-way, try it out as if it was already our daily driver and to feel free to take it to our mechanic and have it checked over. The vehicle itself was very clean on the outside, inside almost equally so aside from some minor, expected wear usage, but it had been cleaned up very nice. He set us loose and off we went! Note: Due to gas theft from their lot, they have to keep the tanks low on fuel. Completely understandable, but just a PSA from me to you to double check that gauge before you leave the lot. :) After driving it around, we really liked it and believed it to be a reasonable rig for the price, mileage and look. Now comes for the craziness! So, I thought that the process with my bank was going to be fairly straight forward, but due to some misunderstandings on my part and my bank's, the actual buying process was thrown into a little chaos. We ended up driving back and forth between the bank and the lot a few times, haha! But the entire time Craig let us keep driving the vehicle, which really helped add to the peace of mind. On the second to last return to the lot, Craig called my bank representative (who was a lovely help, btw! Love Rogue CU) and got everything sorted out on our behalf. This was extremely appreciated as this was both of our first official on-lot car purchase and so this was all new to us. After sorting out the wrinkles that had formed, everything was in order! Craig took the time to explain everything in the documentation and didn't rush us through it. It was over all a very pleasant and fun buying experience. Craig is an excellent sales man and I truly am thankful for his patience with us. Note2: There were a few people who showed up while we were there and he was sure to acknowledge them while not putting us on the back burner. He was extremely busy and was juggling A LOT of stuff, but he handled it calm and well. Note3: Look into the CUDL program! We had never heard of it before and it would have made our buying process much easier. Since I was already approved for the loan through my bank, it would have been a hassle in and of itself to switch over to CUDL. But it might work for you and would be worth looking in to! Note4: When we went in, there was a decent selection on the lot. There were actually 3 other rigs (2 of the same make) that we had had our eyes on, but really wanted the one we walked away with. I feel confident in our purchase and if there are any changes, I will update this review accordingly. read more

I went to this place in hopes to buy a car but when I got there the associate was very unpleasant and wasn't taking anything I said seriously. The car had scratches and rips in the seats and the bumper wasn't even on all the way! After I told him about the price being way too high he laughed and said it would only drop "50 bucks" also when I was in his office they had a paper hanging up talking about the corona virus and in parentheses said the "Chinese virus".... racist.!! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! They are liars! Not only did they sell a car to someone else, that I was in negotiation for (and had agreed to buy and had an appointment to finish the paperwork & pay my down payment for), but the owner was rude to me and made it clear that he didn't care if I came back. He told me that I should've put a deposit on it if I had really wanted it, which I would have if I thought I needed to(but the salesman never even mentioned a deposit). On top of not getting the car, now my credit has taken a hit for the credit application I put in for this car that they sold out from under me. read more

They wouldn't show me the Carfax report, and couldn't get the printer to print what was on the screen, until it was time to print the contract, then the printer worked. They said not wrecked, Toyota dealership says wrecked so you decide, honesty doesn't exist anymore. read more

I would not recommend buying a car from this business I had a friend by a car and the very next day it had a transmission leak and they would not fix it or try to make it right so after buying the car she had to pay for the transmission to get repaired. You would think after buying a car from these people and the next day it goes bad that they would do anything to try to make it better but all they did was get on the defense try to intimidate my friend and then send her to a shady transmission dealer to get it fixed so if you want a car that runs for more than one day do not do not do not buy from these people read more

Buyers be aware!!! I bought a truck in 2013 that included a "lifetime engine warranty". My engine had a complete failure and I was told that they could not help me because their insurance company did not have my VIN on record. I feel that it would be their responsibility to step up since it was sold under false pretenses. I fought with them for a month to no avail and now I have a truck that I only put 20k miles on it that I can no longer use. read more

That car broke down repeatedly , after 1 week of purchase. I had to have it towed, i told him that the car wasn't working and that i had to pay another $560 for repairs. They did nothing, they were not helpful sold me a crap car that i had to put money towards. They do not give a damn about quality vehicles, DO NOT GO HERE! not helpful! read more

My husband and I had a poor experience with Rigs and Rides. It is my opinion that Rigs and Rides did not follow through on their end of our contracted agreement. We had a pleasant experience with the sales associate when we first brought in our 2002 Chevrolet Silverado to Rigs and Rides for consignment. However, the agreement stated that we were to receive $12,000 from the sale of our truck. We received $9,800. When we questioned the sale and asked for receipts we were treated unkindly. We were told that though the truck sold for $12,999 the sale included a trade in. Am I wrong to believe that It was their choice to take a trade in for the sale of our vehicle? Should I be penalized for their choice? If the new owner purchased my truck and partial payment was used by Rigs and Rides accepting a trade in, I believe that I should have still received my net of $12,000, not $9,800. I was not called or informed about this sale. Unfortunately, Rigs and Rides has not been in agreement with my opinion. We have written a formal complaint to the Department of Motor Vehicles and to Rigs and Rides. We are hoping that Rigs and Rides will do the right thing and pay us our remaining balance or we will be bringing this to the Civil Court. It is my opinion that one should NOT do any form of business with Rigs and Rides. HOWEVER, if Rigs and Rides does pay us our remaining balance I will make sure to re-write this review. read more

Never buy a car from Southern Oregon Wholesale Rigs &Rides. Bought a 12,000 vehicle they told me was in good working order and two days later the check engine light turned on and the transmission started to shift hard. I called the car lot and was promptly reminded that I bought the car "AS IS" and it was my responsibility to fix it. Luckily the loan hadn't gone through and I was able to cancel the contract only to endure hours of constant cussing and degrading comments from the owner when I tried to get my trade-in back. The owner even called the police on me, fabricating a story that I had threatened/harassed his family because I had mentioned our kids went to the same school and we lived on the same street. These people are liars and cheats and if you want to get ripped off and cussed out and treated like dirt then purchase a vehicle from them, you won't be disappointed!!! read more

If I could go back and buy a car I would NOT purchase a car from rigs and rides. They are the definition of Un reliable when it comes to correct information. I will admit I should have did my research when they told me how much the car I was purchasing was worth. I of course am now upside down on a car I bought a few months ago because I trusted the wrong people. Very relatable people but they can't be trusted. I am very Un satisfied with the lies I was told not only about my car and how much it is worth but the additional auto protection I purchased which was added to the loan. I feel very fortunate to have found this dealership and the wonderful people who have helped me so much. Initially Craig helped after I saw a car on KBB, emailed them and was contacted immediately, and I came to see the vehicle from California. I had a very challenging situation with great credit, but negative equity on another car with too high of a payment. Both Craig and Marlin listened patiently, cared, and worked diligently on my behalf. I bought a beautiful older Forester with a great payment, and was able to place my newer vehicle on consignment which helped to sell it, using their networking and contacts thru website and social media.
