Honest People, Real Help…read more The day before starting a new job out of town, I was picking up groceries to help my family when someone accidentally hit my parked car. They didn't run--they stayed, and were kind about it--but the car was stuck and damaged enough that it had to be separated with help from a very gracious police officer. Unfortunately, it was totaled. I had no time to spare, no backup car, and no easy options. That's when I found Rigs and Rides in Grants Pass--and everything changed. These men are not your average car salesmen. They're financial pros who went above and beyond, spending hours working to get me the best possible deal. Not just a deal. The right deal. One that was affordable, fair, and something that would actually help me--boosting my credit and securing a vehicle I could count on for years to come. They were kind, patient, honest, and genuinely cared about my safety and long-term well-being. I never felt pressured. Just supported. Thanks to them, I drove away in a beautiful Volvo that handles like a pro ice skater on butter--smooth, reliable, and with room to carry everything I needed for my new beginning. If you're looking for a dealership that sees you as a human being, not a commission, go to Rigs and Rides. They care, they hustle, and they deliver.

The dealer has attempted to lay the blame on the Montana Department of Motor Vehicles. I purchased the vehicle in Grants Pass, Oregon. I reside in Montana. The dealer has attempted to lay the blame for the delay on the Montana DMV. I find this very suspicious. Additionally, the dealer told me that two letters were sent to my address in Montana, I did not receive either letter. The letters were supposedly to inform me that there was a delay in the paperwork beyond their control. The dealership has been less than willing to assist me. I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle from Rigs and Rides. I am 67 years old. I have purchased at least 40 vehicles in my lifetime. This has been the worst vehicle purchasing experience of my lifetime. Incredibly incompetent and rude staff once the sale was done.

I had a asked them if the warranty covered things like locks because the passenger lock clearly doesn't fit the key and looked to be on its last leg. He insisted, again, it covered everything including that- turns out, engine only and no gaskets. the check engine light came on day 3 that I owned it so we took it to the lot and they "checked everything, it's just the sensor needs replacing" and claimed they called the mechanic to set up a time for him to look at it. A few days later, we fill up the tank and gas starts dripping out the bottom(had the car about a week now) and brought it in again. They checked it out again and said it was a filter for the gas tank- "a $6 part we will have him order now and will call when it's in." 2 weeks pass of me calling regularly with no answers or callbacks, I work full time don't drive much so haven't had any issues - except I'm getting about 12 miles to the gallon in a "gas saver" vehicle. I stop in again in person, and tell them about the gas mileage -he acts very concerned and empathetic. He states again he will call the mechanic and tells me "we had 3 people check it out before we sold it to you-it was fine when it left the lot". Thats interesting, he's intimated that I've done this since I got the car- and previously claimed only 1 person had checked it before they sold it. I head home to wait for a call from the mechanic, hoping to talk to someone who knew what they were talking about. Well, I would only get to see him once my cars performance suddenly took a drive-in the 10 minute drive to work, my car suddenly started spitting dark horrible smoke. I finally got help from my car lot and $1000 warranty to get towed to the mechanic. Who tells me he's never been contacted about ANY of this until now and never seen my car before. Mind you, this is who supposedly checks all their cars before they sell them telling me he's never seen this van. This tells me that car lot lied from day 1. And to top it off, the warranty no longer covers anything - but if the lot had actually called on day 3 when I first came in they would have covered all of it. The blown head gasket was caused by no fluids at all in the engine, I admit I never checked because supposedly they did it several times (I was in there regularly) ; the car was brand new to me from the lot and there was no overheating or performance issues besides bad mileage which I thought would be fixed by the filter they'd "ordered ".

When I arrived, I took it for a test drive; the engine felt good, handling felt good, alignment was a little off. So I said yes, and drove it off the lot. Before actually driving it home (several days drive) I usually go to get the fluids changed. Now here comes how crooked they are... -The valve cover gaskets were leaking oil. someone tried to fix it, but botched the job. I have to pay to do it again. - The undercarriage was rusted. They painted it with a black substance hiding the rust. -They put on new brake pads, but left on the old pitted and rusted rotors; you're supposed to replace or cut the rotors anytime you replace the pads -The front and rear struts were totally blown and leaking, so they painted those also, covering the leaks -They also painted black the front and rear springs - I also noticed the power steering pump needed replacement, but I ignored it b/c it's not a large cost to repair. This was a warning sign that should have tipped me off. That one is on me. And they sold this vehicle to me with a smile. Now I'm stuck in this town for 5 more days with a car that requires $4,000 in repairs. It's 5 days because the shop I took it to doesn't have the parts in stock, and shipping times are longer than normal. After the repairs are complete, I'll have a pretty reliable vehicle... After spending a small fortune. If you don't like surprises, and like to keep your hard earned money, then I would recommend that you DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

From the moment I arrived, Grant made the entire process feel easy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, patient, and friendly, and took the time to really listen without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. After going to so many other dealerships where I often felt like just another sale or felt pushed into decisions, working with Grant was a completely refreshing experience. What stood out most was how much he cared about making sure I felt good about everything. He explained things clearly, answered every question without hesitation, and never once made me feel like I was taking up too much time. Even when we were there well after closing, he and the team were still just as helpful and welcoming as they were at the start of the day. The dealership itself was also very clean, open, and comfortable, with small touches like fresh ground coffee and cold water available that made it feel inviting rather than stressful. I can honestly say this was the most positive car buying experience I have ever had, and that is largely because of Grant. If you are looking for someone who treats you with respect and actually makes the process enjoyable instead of overwhelming, I highly recommend asking for him.

Power steering went out while driving with my newborn and they sent it to an unlicensed mechanic and refused to give me any contact info or name.... I ended up having to pay to fix everything their mechanic didn't! All of these occurred well within their two week period and after 4 months the car is COMPLETELY un driveable. Mike has called me out of the blue and harassed, intimidated and made threatening statements about a post on Facebook in a mothers group accusing me of slandering them, it was an anonymous post about another dealership. He has refused to apologize for this and completely stopped contacting me or returning repeated calls to him wondering when they will fix my car! This salesman Mike is very rude to younger people, takes complete advantage and ignores his mistakes. I sent a bank representative down there to talk to him and he ignored them for an entire week, until she had to call again and he still refused to fix it. Mike is beyond rude to service members and veterans, who tried to speak to him on my behalf since he had treated me in such a disgusting way. Swearing at them, slamming doors and threatening to call the police because things didn't go his way. I ended up showing him the videos of all the promises they made to fix it. This made him explode with anger as he thought I had nothing on him. During this he made a statement saying "...we don't inspect all of our cars, just the ones that need it" asking why their multi point inspection for every car they advertise on, somehow didn't show the severe transmission issue, and mistook it for bad brakes, along with severe damage to power steering. He has lied so many times and accused everyone else involved other than him to be the liars, even his own business partners, and other reputable licensed mechanics, to try to get out of this. He is the most unprofessional salesman I have ever met. Honestly would have been fired a long time ago if his Dad didn't own the place!

Upon starting my bike on day two of our trip I noticed my bike(a 2012 Yamaha FJR) making what sounded like an exhaust leak. Unable to determine the cause and not wanting to ride the bike in that condition I Googled motorcycle repair shops in the area and found LMS Motorsports. Since it was only a few miles from our hotel I rode directly there so I would be there when they opened at 9am. I was cheerfully greeted by Sherry only to find out the shop only works on off road motorcycles and ATV's. Jeff,(who I assume is the owner) overheard us talking and came over to ask what the problem was. I explained it to him and he said "let's take a look". I started the bike, he stuck his head down by the exhaust and said without any hesitation "I can fix that, drive it around the back". Fifteen minutes later(and a quick TIG weld) I was on my way and able to finish our ride without and further incidents. Turns out they know how to make it worse! And go straight to looking for more problems prior to doing what I had asked them to accomplish for us. Over $2000 later and 3 trips of bringing it back didn't help whatsoever! So when spoke to Jeff at LMS, he already had an idea of what happened. He came to pick up the machine, repaired it and brought it back. Corrected the work that the dealer claimed they already had done. Did even more things than I had expected, plus cost less than the dealer. I reached out to the Dealership owner showing him the invoice for what I just had done. No response, I'm not too surprised! After 10 years of being a customer and buying 2 new machines from them, he could care less to make it right! So be aware that the local Polaris shop is not capable of doing it right and especially for what they charge! LMS came through for Us! Thanks Jeff Foster!
