Four stars .. AGAIN ! My dashboard said "check engine" so I opened hood and yup it was there, and so was lamp. So I called ROE Service spoke with Brent who said "come on in". He connected the computer to it and explained the issue. I got a ride home and couple days later Brent called and said "come n get it". Had a TSB that was two years past #Warranty, the causing effect was identical to the TSB however, the dealer refused to honor it due to the fact the rating system that they use to determine customer Goodwill policy is determined by how much you spend, and the type of customer you are, apparently buying a new vehicle last year and one before that use vehicle doesn't qualify you, very dissatisfied with that rating system, if only I was born acute blonde or brunette! perhaps then, I will look qualified, other than that the service writers have always been good to us. I definitely will be sending something to General Motors headquarters, taking responsibility for your product and it's defects and make sure customer satisfaction rating is their top priority should be a reminder to Dealer that people like us are the ones that create work and revenue. read more

I'm new to grants Pass and so I was looking at all the dealerships. I'd like to buy a truck. So I drove a couple of theirs and the sales guy was nice. Then we got to talking to the sales manager. This was a very bad thing. He said that they never put anything on the lot that is over the original MSRP and that was why he was offering me $14,000 less than my truck was worth according to the homework I've done. I'm not new to car buying and I really hate being manipulated and lied to. Sales are sales but lies are not sales. So I checked on the cars that are on the lot and all of them are five to $10,000 over the original MSRP. They will take advantage of you when they can. Be careful. read more

Well I jumped the gun giving this place three stars they do not deserve any as far as I'm concerned. Part of me buying a truck from them was they agreed to change all the fluids in the truck and I asked them to grease zerts while they were under there. Well I went check the motor a couple weeks ago its black as night so okay then I started all of the fluids and not a single one outside the tranny fluid was changed the power steering was way over due the rear differential had about 2 drops it. These people are deliberately taking advantage and screwing people over. They're a bunch of liars not one person person I'm there shot my straight. Please avoid this place like the plaque!!! We brought our recently purchased used XTS4 to have a Cadillac Cue problem repaired as well as some stability/traction control issues. Jeff Fox worked with us for 3 visits, diagnosis, Cue repair and lastly Steering Wheel Position Sensor. Each time we were given a loaner vehicle to use as we came over from the coast. Although the repairs were costly, as expected with a Cadillac, they were done expeditiously and Jeff stayed in contact to update us. It is an older dealership without all the chrome and glass but the staff made up for it by their excellent customer service. Even the hard part. Paying the bill was fun as the cashier was a very nice woman. Won't take our Caddy anywhere else. read more

This review is for the collision center. While I was in San Francisco recently Dingleberry the Doper decided it would be a wise idea to break into MY truck, a very luxurious 1998 Chevy pickup truck, instead of any of the brand new luxury cars parked next to it. I came back to find the passenger side window busted out and my stereo and speakers gone. Too bad dipshit couldn't pop the slider the way I need to when I break in 'cause I've done something dumb like lock my keys inside. My insurance company mentioned this place does repair work so I went with Roe basically because I knew where it was. I had my window fixed today and I'm really, really happy to be able to look to the right in my truck and glad that they did the work in the time they said they would. I'm really quite pleased my truck is back to normal... almost. They gave my truck a courtesy wash. It was very nice of them and i know it's their way of going the extra mile. However, I was half tempted to cry. Two years worth of dust, dirt, mud, tossed out dregs from my coffee cups while going 55 mph, Newfoundland drool, paw prints, bar oil, etc... gone, in a flash. I feel kinda nekkid! Overall, though, four stars. I'll feel better once I find some mud. I think I'm just in shock that my truck is actually white. I'm saving the fifth star for after I've done some more business with them, which I intend to do. My truck has 214K miles so she's going to be due for some maintenance soon. Next time, no bath, please. Also very cool - a membership in their loyalty program. You get 3% back to apply towards work on your vehicle, and I got a certificate for a free pizza from Papa John's. After having a terrible experience at Roe Motors I was amazed to see that they had so many good reviews on their site. After leaving my review, I quickly found out why, they simply delete the negative reviews rather than addressing them. I had called Roe Motors and spoke with Randy before I arrived to let them know that I was wanting to come and look at a particular car on their lot. When I arrived I went straight over to the car that I wanted to look at and shortly after, Randy showed up to unlock the car and let me look at it and that was probably the most helpful thing that he did. He knew absolutely nothing about the car, we kept asking questions so that we could get more information and just kept getting the same response of "I don't know the answer to that." There were even several times that we asked about how to activate particular features that we knew the car had since it had said so on the page on their website for that car, Randy would answer that the car did not have that feature. After searching around the settings for about a minute though, we were able to find and activate the features we asked him about. He even went from saying that the car had no warranty on it to saying that it did but he could not tell us how long was left on the warranty, even saying that certain parts of the warranty were already expired even though it clearly said on the documents that he gave us to review that is was not. In the end we ended up not purchasing a car from them because the customer service was just so bad. While I completely understand not liking the pushy salesman strategy that many car dealerships have, it would have been nice to have someone who actually knew how to customer service someone. If he had at least done his research and knew the answers to our question or where to find the answers the experience would have been much better. In the end, Randy told us more information About himself and how he got the job because his father retired from Roe and he was "new" (he had been there about 3 months too long to still be considered new) at sales than he actually told us about the car. I want to write a review on EVERY platform for them! Let me start off with I had never been to a car dealership before. My old car was deemed dangerous for me to drive and I couldn't buy one outright. I heard great things about Roe's and so they were my first stop. Dominic was my sales person who helped me and he was wonderful! Very kind and honest man. I was highly impressed with how I was treated right off the bat by everyone there. Being a female, well, you know-you're usually seen as stupid, easy to con, and unknowledgeable about cars. I never got that from Dominic, nor anyone else in this wonderful business. Every question I asked-he had an answer and was honest. If he wasn't sure-he immediately asked someone else to make sure I got an answer. There was zero pressure to buy, or run my credit. I went everywhere in town to look and test drive after I left. Everywhere else I went-was not nearly as impressive. Honestly, I didn't care for how I was treated and pressured at other lots. And a month later-I'm still getting calls from these other lots I didn't want to purchase from. I came back to Roe, food then I'm ready. Zach worked very hard with the bank to get me the price range I could afford. The whole team did so great for me, and I got the exact car I wanted the most! they even took it through 3 shops to make sure EVERYTHING was good! I got new tires on the front as well, they went above and beyond for me! They offered me to come in, call or text at ANY time for any questions! I truly felt cared about and welcomed, which is rare these days. They sent a gift package as the picture will show Too! It was very kind of them, and Mr. Roe himself signed it. He was there checking in on everyone the day we signed the papers, it was really nice to see his involvement. Thank you so much everyone at Roe Motors, I'm truly grateful for the work you've put into this for me, and the fact you care so much and offer so much. My truck was throwing 3 different codes at me telling me to service my engine soon; I take it to Roes and these guys inform me that most all repairs needed will be covered by my extended coverage! That was hard to believe! My DEF heater was going out on me as well as some electrical issues with some sensors. I get my truck back fixed and getting better gas mileage to boot!! We don't take our cars to any other mechanic. Their service dept is beyond Awesome! Yesterday was the perfect example of the type of service we expect, and consistently receive, from them. We had heard a loud sound coming from our decade + old Escalade at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. We immediately took it over to Roe, and my husband went inside the service dept and brought Jeff Fox out to listen to the noise. One of their mechanics, Matt, came out with him. They quickly determined that the sound was our AC compressor needed replacing. The challenge to the whole thing is that we have to leave town Saturday, and we need the Escalade to do that! Jeff confirmed they had the part in stock and Matt quickly volunteered to stay late and put the part in RIGHT THEN! No waiting until Monday, no having to make alternate arrangements for our business trip. Jeff even got us a loaner car so that we could finish our errands we had downtown while Matt did the work. Before 6PM on Friday, we were back in our trusty Escalade and are able to leave on time and with confidence that our transportation is reliable. We live in the Calif. Bay area and bought a 2004 Dodge Ram Diesel truck we found in AutoTrader from ROE MOTORS GM in Grants Pass OR. Our experience with Roe Motors was a very positive one. A lot of this had to do with their staff and especially sales representative Rod Kidd. He spent a great deal of time going over every detail of the truck. Rod even went out to the truck with his cell phone and spent time with us looking at every detail of the exterior, interior, engine compartment looking for any leaking seals or dampness also the suspension, wheels and tires etc. so that we felt very confident in his concern for us and his honesty. Absolutely the worst experience ever with a GMC dealer service department. We arrived late on a Tuesday afternoon with an emergency brake problem. A technician diagnosed a problem and said to return the next morning for the repair. Upon returning on Wednesday, the first technician was not there and a second technician said the diagnosis was incorrect, parts needed to be ordered from Reno, and come back Friday. Arrived Friday am. to find both technicians were not working. The cashier lady told someone who was not an experienced technician to install the parts. Not only did the person install the brackets backwards but the e brake system was worse than when we brought it in Tuesday. The cashier lady was rude and no one seemed to know what to do to remedy the problem. I paid the several hundred dollar charge and went to another non GM shop in Grants Pass for assistance. The second shop said the parts were installed incorrectly and that Roe should have identified additional problems that were obvious but not addressed. The Roe motors service department is the last vehicle repair shop I would recommend in Grants Pass, Oregon. read more

I had a 2007 gas 1500 slt in excellent condition and they had a 2008 gmc hd 2500 diesel with 8400 miles. I wanted top dollar for my truck ( who doesn't ) and after a couple of phone calls and one canceled meeting because i was sick, i drove down and met with them. They actually had pulled the 2500 unit off the lot to save it until i got down there, with no guarantee that I'd buy the truck. They took my offer ( within $ 300.00 ) and i got a great truck and they got a great trade in. If i ever need another truck/car, these guys will have a repeat customer.
