Hector from the parts department has a really bad attitude. I been looking for a part for my Honda online without success. I then called the parts department. HECTOR answered telling me that "HE CANT GIVE OUT PART NUMBERS" to a customer who in fact bought 2 vehicles in the past from that dealership. I then called Honda of the Desert and they were able to give me the part number. Thank you Honda of the Desert. Excellent customer service! The gentleman had a great attitude. read more

Jose Arias very professional and very polite.! Great Experience I had with Unicars Honda.!

I tried getting a 2020 Honda Civic hatchback, the seller was very nice but the manager was super rude. He was very loud and didn't even try to sell the car he didn't want to make a deal he just gave me my keys and ID back. I do not recommend this dealership because the manager doesn't work with customers. He is not at all professional. read more

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT .. What a rip off! Leased a brand new 2016 last year.. this is my 2nd oil change. Mind you I purchased a service package. They tried charging me 70.00 for service telling me I drive too many miles (I only have 10,000 miles on it) . When I told him I just wanted my regular service he then continued saying it wasn't valid here. This is not ok & i will be calling corporate. The only reason I came here was because the other dealer was booked! Do not come here and do not believe their scam they are just trying to rip people off! read more

I visited this location over the 4th of July weekend due to an unfortunate circumstance. I had been having issues with my Honda's anti-theft system and had been utilizing the manual anti-theft method to start my vehicle for a couple weeks. My 2 yr old daughter and I were visiting my parents in the area for the holiday and we found ourselves stranded when my lil trick was no longer working to start my vehicle. I reluctantly had triple AAA tow my car to Unicars Honda to finally uncover what was the matter with my car. Anthony was my service advisor and was professional from the very beginning. He even had the guy that would be servicing my car come to the desk so I can explain exactly what my issues were. They promised a call back of 11am and they followed through with a prompt phone call and explained it was after market alarm that tripping my system and cutting power to my starter. They did the work and my car was finally back in working order. The mechanic that serviced my car was Jesus and seemed to know what he was doing. Very knowledgeable. I was really expecting a possible nightmare as I've never had good experiences at any car dealer service centers where I live (Fontana/Riverside area). Unicars Honda was a pleasant surprise. I did pay $280 but I think it would have been much more somewhere else with someone that didn't know exactly what the issue was. I'm glad now that I have piece of mind that car will be working again especially since I have my daughter with me most of the time. My fiancé and I have been discussing getting a new vehicle and based on my experience here I will seriously consider a purchase from here. read more

When looking for a car they are really rude about it, not willing to help you at all... walked in sales man was really rude and when I called to get information about a car they never called back. It's like they do not want business and they don't want to sale you their cars. Thank god for Honda of the Desert for being a local Honda Dealership! Will never stop going there. Way better customer service and very happy with my purchase. read more

I was so lucky to get Anthony Franco as my service writer. He explained what needed to be done on my CRV for my 30000 mile inspection and service. He is knowledgeable, courteous , friendly and very professional. You are lucky to have him and so was I. My service was done in less time than I expected in spite of how busy the service people were. Thank you Anthony and thank you Unicars Honda! read more

While offering friendly service be careful of the prices charged. For example they quoted me $90 for a cabin air filter including install. I purchased it for $12 on line and took two minutes to pop it in after watching a short you tube video. This is the reason I gave this dealership two stars and I do not understand that type of mark up. read more

If you're gonna get a car go get it HERE! The salesman Jose and the floor manager Danny took great care of me, they got me the deal and car I wanted, I'm super happy with my purchase and for having them work with me! And Josy was awesome! Unicars Honda is amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the service writer, who was super friendly. The service manager happened to walk by and took the time to stop and see if we needed anything. Mike Torbett our favorite mechanic at Honda serviced my daughters car right away and as always provided amazing service!! The sales girl who sold us our car saw us and came over to give us a hug and to see how we were doing. Katherine Torbett who handled some things when we bought our car walked by and stopped to see how we were enjoying our new car. Honda is like family and we will for sure by our next Honda from Unicars!! read more

This is a follow up from a previous review. My 2016 Honda Accord was previously diagnosed with a rear seal transmission leak. This was discovered after two previous leaks in the surrounding location. Since my car was out of warranty I was told the cost would be $1300. After expressing my displeasure of the diagnosis/treatment I was contacted by the Service Manager, Carl Coggins. He requested me to come in a discuss the diagnosis. After meeting with Carl it was determined that Honda would repair my car for no charge. Needless to say I was extremely happy with this decision; I felt that Unicars Honda as well as Service Manager Carl Coggins went "above and beyond" to assure quality customer service. Thank You Unicars Honda, and the Service Department Team! read more

My daughter got a 2018 charger from this place small details to get done. They told us bring it Wednesday we did and one thing got done. Then again next Wednesday car never got finished poor management disrespectful managers from sales and parts services miscommunication never called us at all we had to call to find out they couldn't finish the job now it's Thursday it's still not finished they are asking to bring it back next week again waste of time money. The parts manager name is Marcos sales name don't have it. This place nobody knows anything or they blame the guy that just went home. We requested to talk to a upper manager they don't have one we requested to talk to owner they won't provide that information they have orders not to do so. The guy in charge of the details name is Jeremy moreno. It's 530 pm 1/27/2022 and still waiting for the car I had to call at midday then again at 4 pm because they will not call you about your car. Me Moreno apologized yesterday said that miscommunication was over with that he guaranteed up to date progress on car never called Jeremy never called sales manger never called very un professional for a Honda dealership poor customer service read more

So this starts with Genaro as salesman which was very accommodating (and everyone else wanting you to buy a car). Other than that...I think I should've gone somewhere else. I sign a contact then I get a call 2 days later that the interest changed to an increased amount. Yes, my credit isn't the best but to surprise me and say you've Been approved at XX.XX% then to increase it .50% isn't cool but I guess it happens (#1 issue but it's ok...things happen). Next, I find out only one key is available and told another key would be made, not knowing I would have to be there for that. So I make an appointment and wait about an hour and a half to get it made but not after having to wait to see if I was paying for it bc they couldn't find my paperwork at first. They didn't have paperwork in order (issue #2). Later that day I find out my check that was supposed to be cleared at a later date, was cleared that morning (issue #3). I'm not a wealthy person and live pay check to check so timing for checks to clear is pretty important to me. I called unicars and spoke to several people going up the chain of command. Finally, I spoke to Alex ("assistant to the owner" apparently) who clearly was not interested in hearing what I had to say and cut me off mid sentence because "she couldn't do anything." All she COULD do was give me the owners voicemail because he wasn't available. When check cleared I was charged an overdraft protection fee and that's all they're willing to reimburse. To me, that's totally unacceptable since I had to cancel plans and go thorough all of the other obstacles and I've had the car less than 2 weeks. It's not only embarrassing but I feel pretty worthless as a customer. So great at first impressions but pretty shitty so far. I know i should've went to another place. Never again will I give this place my business and you should look around before giving Unicars your business. read more

I don't know why all the negative reviews for this dealership? I drove out 2 hours to check out a car. I was greeted by a salesman who quickly showed me to the used car managers office. Used car manager was very nice thanked me for driving out and had the salesman show me the car. Everyone here was very friendly and no pressure. I had a pleasant experience. I didn't buy the car, not because they wouldn't deal it just wasn't for me in the end. Give them a shot they seem eager to please. read more

Took our 2017 Honda Pilot back to Unicars for the scheduled reapplication of auto-butler paint protection and leathercare last January 18th. Had it car washed and vacuumed prior to coming to lessen the waiting time. However, i still waited for 3 hours (11am-2pm) but i was very satisfied with how our Honda Pilot looked inside and outside when the staff handed me back the key. It looked and felt like brand new and there was no charge for what they did. Overall, i am very pleased with their service. will definitely come back. read more

Customer Service at this dealership is the worst I've ever experienced. They convinced me to buy a Maintenance Plan for $575. I specifically asked and was told that this Plan was good at any dealership, but when I went to use it in San Diego I was told it was only good at Unicars. Called Unicars and told them I would not have purchased this had they informed me correctly. Told by George that I was a big boy and should have read the contract more closely and there would be no refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They will not make things right. If someone tells me something to be true, I don't usually look for confirmation in writing - Lesson Learned. On top of that, George was very combative on the phone and told me I got such a great price that I should not complain. Price was not a relevant issue here. Same price was availabe at another dealer. read more

The worst Honda dealership ever! Service is horrible. Had to replace the alternator on Honda Accord, I am the original owner. Tried to charge me $32 for core, said it was not original alternator. After an hour of discussion with service rep and parts manager they finally took it off the bill when I threatened to call corporate. Botched the seat replacement after repairing passenger side airbag, broke the plastic tabs in seatback and repaired with glue...did not stay glued. Failed to repair a recall item 500 miles over warranty, took it to Honda of the Desert where it was repaired promptly. Stay away from this dealership!!! read more

Is there a zero star? That's what they deserve. I have never been taken advantage of because I'm a young lady like I did when I went in for service for my car. They stacked all the possible services they could because I didn't know much about cars nor their services. They DID NOT GIVE ME A QUOTE or tell me anything about prices YET I was charge $600+ for services my car "needed." I'm a college student and I was dropped from classes because I wasn't able to pay my tuition due to this experience. I wanted to go in and talk to a manager about what happen but the guy who helped me literally scared me away because of the way he was talking to my family members when they called to ask what they had done to my car to charge me so much. What kind of employee yells and tells off their customers? The ones at Unicars. All 6 of my house hold members have Honda's and we have all had terrible experiences there. We now found a company that truly cares about their customers and wants to see them happy when they pick up their car. read more

Go see Craig or Stephanie. Plain and simple. They took care of us, they were very professional and had a great attitude. We felt very welcomed and loved our experience with this sales team. In 10 years of being married and having to make financial decisions together, working with Craig and Stephanie to make this happen was a breeze! Having both kids there too wasn't easy but still they were very kind and understanding with them. If you want a good deal and an even better experience buying a vehicle go see these two. 2nd car here..leased a pilot then traded it in early for an accord. Great service..met the Owner who was working. Never see that these days. I like this place. Sean was my salesman and he was friendly and accommodating. Going to get my next car here as well. Make sure you spend the time in the financial department as they will try to get you on the extended warranty for ore owned. Why buy a Honda if not for the reliability ? Looks are ok. Be sure you know what warranty they already have before going into the finance guy. Like usual they are brutal. read more

Sales department is the worst ever. I was sold a used car and received the registration 7 months later. It took months of complaining and months of getting pulled over for overdue tags. Sorry Alex but you are completely wrong in blaming the DMV for the tags taking over 7 months. This was a Unicar Honda issue and no one else. Once I made you guys get me a rental, you guys did the smog check and fed ex overnight the information and I received the tags in a week. It took me to have to make you guys pay for a rental to get anything done. Nothing but excuses like you just wrote for seven months till it was costing you guys money. Poor customer service and terrible sales staff. read more

BEWARE. They will rip you off horribly on your trade-in, if they feel like they can get away with it. Turned a $6500 (conservative KBB trade-in value) into lease fees ($2500), and banked the rest. They are friendly and nice and exude competence to gain your confidence, then will stab you in the back. You are not dealing with trustworthy people. DO NOT trust them. Even better, don't do business with them. Yes, I should have reviewed the contracts better. That was stupid. But what they did to rob me of $4000 was EVIL. DO NOT TRUST THEM. read more

Maybe the sales department is significantly different than the service department, but I'm so thrilled with my latest experience at Unicars. I brought my Civic in, convinced I had a problem with a fuel line or fuel pump. I even told them I had a problem with one of those things. Turns out, I was only miss a cap from the oil tank and there were no other problems. They could have easily turned my problem into a money maker for them. But they didn't. They even gave me a discount on the diagnostic fee. I will definitely be returning for service in the future. And probably checking my oil cap more often. Oops! read more

I have had some very bad experiences before when buying a car. But last month I went in to buy coolant for my car and Genaro helped us out. I read all the bad reviews but this place was so convenient I decided to give it a try and made an 8:3am appointment for service on my Honda Fit. I could not be more pleased. The service manager, Jason, was professional, friendly, and efficient. He told me what the service would cost and what was going to be done. He had the shuttle driver, Bobby, take me home immediately and said my car would be done about 11. Booby arrived to pick me up at 11:06 to take me to my car. I paid and my car was brought to me in less than right away. Couldn't ask for better service. Easy Pease, just the way I like it. Unicars Honda has my business, going forward. read more

When I first came here to get my car they had great service and were very courteous and professional; We had an agreement on a car but I told them i would get a better rate with a different financial institution. I filled out everything and was getting a check mailed for the exact amount we had agreed upon everything was good. . .Then I go see the financial guy in the back and he keeps screwing up papers keeping me there later I wish I would have just left now and used someone else because when I came back with the check from my credit union now it is short over 1400 dollars. . . so I either have to come up with this money right then or I will be forced to use their credit with was 3% higher than what I already had!!! Went in to this dealership not expecting much of a "deal" since i had a horrible experience at Palm Springs Ford/Mazda but i ended up walking out that same night with a brand new 2012 Accord Special Edition. I went in and explained to them i wanted to trade in my truck (which i knew i was about 4k in the hole on) and move into a vehicle that will basically keep my payment the same. They had great incentives on the Accords and their 0.9% financing definitely helped vs the 4.9%(even though i have good credit) i was offered at the other dealership. I was able to "swap" my gas guzzler for the Accord for the same payment and will be receiving free oil changes till i reach 36k/3yrs! Definitely recommend this local dealership. Talk to salesman Curtis for a straight forward deal. read more

I hate giving car dealers a top-rating but having bought 2 cars this year, this place stands out. Had I read the reviews prior to purchasing a CRV a couple weeks ago I probably would have not dropped in but my wife and I did. We were searching for a new family car and dropped in to test drive the CRV. After researching dealers in OC, San Diego and LA, Unicars was aggressive on the price and earning our business. They even priced better than the Costco Auto buying program. Jodi was our salesperson and she's been great about follow up and following through. 2.5 weeks after purchasing our CRV I took car in for waxing, use our expired parts coupon (which they honored, no questions asked), and installation of license plates. I held off on writing this review right after the sale but now that the dealership has lived up to their end of the deal, my wife and I walk away very happy. It seems they've turned things around at the dealership. Each time we've dropped in for follow up items (they kind where most dealers fall through, not to point you out RACEWAY NISSAN in Riverside) , they've been pleasant. Having driven Camrys for the past 15 years, the CRV is a great upgrade for our family. And though we were searching for a used CRV, this dealer met our budget and priced us right on the financing portion (though we were ready to pay cash) into a new CRV. I highly recommend this place, but definitely do your pricing and financing research first at kbb.com and autotrader. read more

we made an appointment for service and was told it would be a 3 hour which is ok because we had the day cleared so we requested a shuttle home so we could pick up our other car and just drive back when the car is ready. We got inside the shuttle not even in the car for 2 mins and the shuttle driver a young woman is TEXTING AND DRIVING. She kept looking down at her phone writing a long paragraph to someone. I politely asked her to stop texting and driving and she replied "sorry". Stopped for maybe 5 mins then switched the phone to her other hand where I couldn't see and continued to text and drive. Texting and driving is illegal in the state of California and I can't believe she would put Honda customers lives in jeopardy like that. I had a cousin who was killed by someone who was texting and driving and to see her doing that was just a slap in the face. She obviously doesn't care or maybe has a listening problem? I don't know why she would continue after I told her to stop? So if you or any family members are planning to take the shuttle be warned your life will be at risk because the shuttle driver avidly texts and drives. I am just in awe how anyone would think that's ok with customers in the car. I guess Honda doesn't care about the protection of their customers and just hires anyone to drive for them. read more
