Lemon Jasmine Green Tea

The iced Rose Latte with Milk Mochi, Sago and no sugar!!!! Absolutely amazing. I feel like this drink was personally made for me. I love it. No other drink and snack shop makes this unique drink and the only problem I have is the fact it doesn't have an option to make it LARGE. My heart is absolutely happy. Ever since this place got new management it has improved immensely!!! The cool owner is super friendly and I think that's what makes this place stand out amongst all the cute drink and snack shops in Argyle. I love this location and so does my son and his cousins. I ordered today, and got the opportunity to sample a potential new menu item and it was absolutely delicious. There isn't anything to hate about this place. Customer service is on point, food and drinks are on point and the place is cute and spacious. I highly recommend Uni Uni Argyle they have great quality cups for their drinks and that's another thing I love. A lot of places serve you drinks in cheap cups. Uni Uni has strong cups and lids, perfect for your ride and won't spill out the cup. Thanks for the great conversations every single time I've gone here. You guys rock.

Firstly, shoutout to the staff. There was two of them and they handled a dinner rush like pros. When we got there and ordered there were only a couple of people ordering and by the time I had gotten out of the bathroom the lobby was full. Secondly, the decor of the place is pretty cool. Great Wall design, mini arcade, very instagrammable. In terms of drinks - we liked them a lot. I had the Lovebirds Tea with Coffee and Tapioca and that tasted pretty good, and I love coffee so that was good for me. And my wife got the uni fruit combo Jasmine green tea and she liked that as well. Well come back next time and order food too!

Came here on a Thursday around noon and it was empty. I self order for my things. I got my drink quick and Japanese rice ball came a little after. Service was fine, girl at the front was friendly. My drink was really good and just the perfect amount of sweetness.

Got the peach watermelon Jasmine Green Tea Yakult with 30% sugar and less ice. I thought it tasted quite watered down and everyone that I was with also said it wasn't very good. I don't taste the yakult either but it taste like water with a hint of watermelon and mainly jasmine flavor. Service was okay and lot of seating.

Pinapple smoothie

Stopped by Uni Uni and got a pineapple smoothie, which was solid and refreshing. I've heard their bubble tea is what they're known for, so I'm looking forward to trying that next time. The place has lots of seating, which is nice you can sit down and enjoy your drink rather than fighting for a spot. Seems like a great hangout spot and I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

What a fun experience going to a pop up here. I ordered the Grapefruit Mango Sago drink at 70% sweetness and it was PERFECT for me. They have delicious snacks as well....and the whole atmosphere was super chill and cool. The service was super quick and also super friendly. I don't live close enough, but I know if I'm in the area, I'm definitely coming here for some Boba!

Pu'er Milk Tea with Milk Mochi (Regular)

I got the pu'er milk tea with milk mochi. I wish the tea flavor was a bit stronger and for there to have been more mochi. Value isn't great either - it's pretty small of a drink for over $7. This location is pretty spacious though, good for doing work.

I'm a fan of their bubble tea and was excited when I saw Katsu Curry! Super disappointed that they put a whole lemon wedged squeezed in the curry - I'm ok with it on the side but it over powered the curry

Got some bubble tea from this place on Argyle. It looks like one of those cartoonish bubble tea shops, and it is. Uni Uni has a few locations, including this one in Uptown. Has many teas to choose from. There's milk teas, as well as some non dairy milks to use as a substitute. A good place for an Asian business. It's among the many of these along this street. The inside isn't that big but has more than enough tables. A lot here to get. It's about $6 for a latte. Last time I got the Soy Milk Black Tea Latte. It was pretty good without being overly sugary and helped me to get cool. The rest of the menu features teas with the cheese foam that's on top. Has a lot for those who like bubble tea and other coffee. It's closed Tuesdays. There's milk teas as well as some that are okay for vegans.

Odd first impression. First off i walked in to the overwhelming odor of fish - not in a good way - and obv that was such a displeasant experience. Second, the menu seemed different than what I usually expect from a boba/bubble tea place. I usually order strawberry or honeydew milk tea. The menu at the kiosk didn't have these options. I ended up ordering a "special" strawberry milk tea with milk mochi. I'm not sure what milk mochi is tbh. Also for $8, the cup is really small. I get bubble tea from time to time and it's almost always in a 20 oz+ cup. THAT SAID, the girl working put a lot of effort into making this drink, even muddling fresh strawberries. The drink itself isn't quite what I usually get and love. It's okay but not what I was expecting.

Smoothie joint, smoothie joint, smoothie joint, tehehe! Post completion of my run nearby, I discovered Uni Uni Bubble Tea Uptown - Chicago after a quick search of restaurants with 'Smoothies' via yelp. Uni Uni Uptown just happened to be ranked number eight within a radius of the area I was in, and not too far off from my route which made it very acceptable to choose. I ordered their large strawberry smoothie with cloud cream online via yelp after briskly scrolling through the menu. Ordering online via the yelp application was very convenient because by the time I arrived to pick up my drink, it was ready behind the counter upon my arrival. Uni Uni Uptown itself sits within what is referred to as Chicago's second Chinatown, West Argyle Street Historic District amongst a plethora of businesses and restaurants. During this visit, I was fortunate enough to find a parking spot as I entered the area which was pay by the plate. If you are not fortunate as I was, keep in mind that there is neighborhood parking, as well as parking off some of the side streets of W Argyle St. I just could not resist taking a sip of my strawberry smoothie after getting inside of my vehicle. Mmm, it was so good! Eeek! Brain freeze! Ya'll! And on top of being charmed out of my panties after my first sip, these taste buds of mine were surged with that cold delicious strawberry smoothie flavor that I love and desired. Since I am now familiar with Uni Uni Bubble Tea Uptown - Chicago, I would gladly order from again, which would more than likely be in the same fashion post completion of a run nearby. And besides, it allows me to once again visit the West Argyle Street Historic District. Recommendations: Uni winter special hot drinks (brown sugar ginger rose black tea); Signature smoothies (banana smoothie, strawberry smoothie, mango smoothie); Flavored yogurt with crystal boba (strawberry yogurt, peach yogurt); Flavored yakult (peach watermelon jasmine green tea, passion fruit jasmine green tea, lemon pineapple, kiwi); Fresh fruit tea (grapefruit jasmine green tea, uni fruit combo jasmine green tea, navel orange jasmine green tea, pineapple jasmine green tea with passion fruit, strawberry orange jasmine green tea). ~ Yabba dabba doo! ~ Thomas G

Dropped by for a quick boba date and tried their Yakult peach drink! So yummy!! Nice and sweet and refreshing. Perfect for the summer. This location is not as interactive as the Uni Uni in Chinatown but I'm lucky I'm a few blocks away since it's super quick and convenient.

It's good but it's like most boba tea. It's a very cool interior on the inside. It's still very good though.

Thus, today it was simply a Taichi Milk Tea with Boba. Please do not quote me on this, but it seems they use a special kind of milk? Whatever the case, the result was delicious! The tea and milk flavors were both noticeable but not overwhelming or overpowering in any way. Excellent amount of 'bite' from the tea and savory/creamy notes from the milk. The sugar and ice levels in the default beverage were on-point as well! I often find myself having to specify "less sugar" and "less ice". While such customizations are built into the menu, it's lovely that the base isn't gobs of ice and sugar. The boba was fine, nothing to write home (on Yelp?) about here. The vibe inside is lovely. It is wood, black and splashes of color. The service was polite and speedy (though to be fair - it wasn't very busy at the time). While I am not yet local to Chicago, I will be in a few months. When this happens, I look forward to returning, and trying some poke and ramen as well!

I've been doing work around Argyle for many years, but somehow never got the chance to check out Bambu, so I'm really appreciative to Yelp for giving me an excuse to finally stop in and experience this cozy spot. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how good it smelled! I love that fresh, warm waffle aroma, it immediately made me want to try everything on the menu. The staff were all incredibly sweet and welcoming. The menu is huge, with plenty of options to choose from, but I decided to go with the mango smoothie with red boba, which was really delicious. I also thought the origami kit provided by Yelp was such a nice touch and a fun little addition to the experience. I'll definitely be back to try some of their waffle offerings because there were so many things on the menu that caught my attention. I really hope this business continues to thrive and do well in the neighborhood. Thanks again to Yelp for the opportunity to finally check out Bambu!
