Every once in a while, I'll grab a taro boba, which is probably my favorite. I've also tried a few different pastries and sandwiches too, and everything has been fresh and pretty good. because this has become my go-to spot in the community. I love stopping by, getting a to go order or taking a break and getting some work done over here it's a change of environment for me. They're also open until 9 PM which is a plus.

The tea and milk flavors were both noticeable but not overwhelming or overpowering in any way. Excellent amount of 'bite' from the tea and savory/creamy notes from the milk. The sugar and ice levels in the default beverage were on-point as well! I often find myself having to specify "less sugar" and "less ice". While such customizations are built into the menu, it's lovely that the base isn't gobs of ice and sugar. The boba was fine, nothing to write home (on Yelp?) about here. The vibe inside is lovely. It is wood, black and splashes of color. The service was polite and speedy (though to be fair - it wasn't very busy at the time). While I am not yet local to Chicago, I will be in a few months.
