I've tried to come here twice in the past month, and tried to order delivery through DoorDash the third time before work. Everywhere you look, on maps and on delivery websites, it says this place is open. However, all three times I've attempted to order something from here, they have been closed. The lights are off, the doors are locked, and there is a "CLOSED" sign pasted on the door every time. They do not mark anywhere that they are closed until you drive there and see the sign on the door. To me, this is incredibly strange. Having your business on delivery apps and making the driver go all the way there for it to be closed, then causing issues for the customer and causing them to cancel it (did not get my full amount refunded either) is very unprofessional. Their phone line is also disconnected. They must have shut this place down and the owner just didn't bother to take it off of any maps or delivery apps, because when I tried to call it immediately said this person is not available.

Has a surprisingly varied menu. There's empanadas at lunch if wanting hot stuff. Because it was breakfast we got some of the smoothies and bowls. It's about $7 for a smoothie which isn't that bad for around here. The one I got was the Kale Colada Smoothie. It's green. This is made with bananas, coconut, kale, pineapple, and spinach. It's about $9 for bowls. We got a couple of these. Best one was the Sunny Bowl. This is made with acerola, apple juice, apples, bananas, and mangos. This is topped with apples, bananas, coconut flakes, granola, honey which I left off, and mangos. Good but it just wasn't enough. It's small portions for the prices. The fruit is fresh though, and at lunch they have empanadas, including a few okay for vegans and vegetarians.

Smoothie Joint is also one of the healthiest places. Has many things on the menu to choose. There's smoothies of course as well as bowls made with açaí, or other fruits and stuff. Came at breakfast. It's a good place for a healthy start. The main things of course are the smoothies, but that's not all, as they also have bowls made with fruits and vegetables. Good healthy items. There's a few of these. It's about $12 for a bowl. The Green Line Bowl is made with avocados and bananas, topped with coconut, granola, and strawberries. Just was kind of small, but it packed a lot in. There's a few other bowls including pineapple. Healthy place to get some breakfast or any time basically. It's located on Newport off Sheffield. There's plenty of offerings for vegans and vegetarians.

It's a very cute idea and from walking in you could see that the employee was making each drink with fresh fruit and vegetables - I got the green line express and my friend got the purple line. we both loved our drinks and added the vanilla protein. I am about 85% sure that they forgot the protein in my green smoothie. - here's the thing. there was one woman working there who was running all over the place while talking loudly on FaceTime. she then plugged her phone in in the middle of the room and had her FaceTime on max volume. we waited as the only people in the place for about 10 minutes and she just like did random things. - there were boxes everywhere and it just seemed like they were in the middle of moving out? there were two stools nowhere near the counter on the side (that was where her phone was blasting) it was a total mess and definitely not passing any cleanly tests.... - so yes, tasty and yes, there's potential. definitely not any poison in the drinks, but?!? what's happening!?

I've been doing work around Argyle for many years, but somehow never got the chance to check out Bambu, so I'm really appreciative to Yelp for giving me an excuse to finally stop in and experience this cozy spot. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how good it smelled! I love that fresh, warm waffle aroma, it immediately made me want to try everything on the menu. The staff were all incredibly sweet and welcoming. The menu is huge, with plenty of options to choose from, but I decided to go with the mango smoothie with red boba, which was really delicious. I also thought the origami kit provided by Yelp was such a nice touch and a fun little addition to the experience. I'll definitely be back to try some of their waffle offerings because there were so many things on the menu that caught my attention. I really hope this business continues to thrive and do well in the neighborhood. Thanks again to Yelp for the opportunity to finally check out Bambu!
