They recently switched to self checkout machines which is nice to look at pictures of the menu but you can ask the staff any questions too. It's also just a block or so from the Argyle L stop. This stretch of town is also known as 'Asia on Argyle' or 'Chicago's Little Vietnam' as there are some incredible Southeast Asian owned cafes, restaurants, and businesses to explore! Bambu is really adorable, small, and clean on the inside. The walls are lined with gorgeous images of the beverage options. The selection is VAST, and with each drink, there are many customizations to really make it your own. I wanted to keep it simple for my first order, and decided on the coconut taro smoothie with no additional boba toppings. The drink was made in just a few minutes (I was the only one in the cafe) and was the gorgeous lavender shade I expected. It tasted even better than it looked! It was so creamy, and neither flavor overpowered the other. I can't wait to come back throughout the summer and try more flavors!
