We enjoy coming on Tuesdays for the pizza deal. Today we ordered the shotgun shrimp appetizer, a side salad, and the 33 Deluxe small pizza. We also decided to try a strawberry and a blackberry lemonade. After a short wait our shrimp and salad were delivered. Both were good. Our lemonades were delicious! Of course the pizza was delivered after we finished our appetizers. The pizza was great. Our server, EmilyB, was great. Always positive and smiling. We also noticed Japanese baseball was on. Didn't expect that honestly. This restaurant always has an active and vibrant atmosphere. There's seating for all types and television screens everywhere. During football season, this place is packed! The reviews are all over the place. We have always had a good experience here. If you're unsure about trying Bubba's 33, I recommend giving it a try. They have a variety that fits almost all appetites.

Of course, the beer was flat in which I left half of it. On a great note! The food was incredible! Super job to the chef's in the back! I don't think I will be returning! BTW, I've been there about 6 times since you opened here in Jacksonville, and never had this type of experience and the beers were always poured perfectly. Oxtail - Steam rice and cabbage - person ended up getting violently sick for several days. Oxtail #2 - said was too spicy (but is spice sensative) rice was fine. Mac and cheese overcooked and dry. Jerk chicken - good spice, steamed rice had some sort of sauce the other steam rice didn't and wasn't requested. Same dry mac and cheese. Veggy patties were really good and not dry almost tasted like a chicken pot pie filling without the chicken. Coconut bread - very good, super soft Plantains - good standard cook.
