She was even able to trim his nails and he usually doesn't like his paws touched! Once we got home, I discovered that he had been completely scalped in several areas -- especially the inside of his back legs and around his private area -- shaved down so aggressively that his skin was left bright red, irritated, and inflamed. The haircut itself was also extremely uneven and unacceptable. I repeatedly tried calling the business after noticing how distressed Bodhi was, but no one answered. When I finally got through, the front desk informed me that the groomer who cut him was a new employee named Rachel. I later spoke with the owner, Marissa, who made the situation far more difficult than it needed to be. Instead of immediately addressing the condition my dog was left in, she questioned whether the grooming had actually harmed him and insisted on speaking with my vet before considering a refund -- despite the obvious irritation and the condition he was sent home in. After multiple conversations, Marissa eventually stated that after reviewing the footage, they would issue a refund, which I did receive. However, during that same conversation, she claimed that "nothing went wrong" during the grooming and said the only reason they refunded me was because I told her I would leave reviews and warn others about my experience. The photos speak for themselves. No dog should leave a grooming appointment crying, itching, visibly uncomfortable, and shaved so aggressively that their skin is left raw and irritated. What was supposed to be a simple haircut turned into a stressful and painful experience for my dog, and the way the situation was handled afterward only made it worse.

i have a pomeranian that's pretty difficult to deal with just because he's so irritable. i call it…read morespicy but honestly he kind of goes feral when feeling threatened, probably because he's so small and also a little inbred his groomer kyla matthews always manages to thoroughly clean him with the spa package we buy every month. she also takes some pictures of him throughout his grooming and sends it over, which is super sweet. so far, he also hasn't had any complications with his appointments and she also provides helpful updates on his skin and fur condition, as well as recommendations for particular treatments that she thinks could help him. i would personally recommend this place; it's been a few years since we first brought him in and i don't have any plans of changing that!

There is no greeting, nothing. I understand they are busy, but a simple, "Hello someone will be with you shortly." Is simple. Every time I walked into this establishment, I would say hello after going unnoticed. The owner or manager (the one that does the coloring) has looked up at me on several occasions and continued working. There was no hold on, someone will be with you, no smile, nothing. It just doesn't make you feel welcomed there. I give stellar customer service because I appreciate every customer that walks in my establishment. When someone finally comes to the counter, you're rushed. They charge if you're 15 minutes late, but they don't even work on your pet until hours after your appt. I will be finding another groomer that actually welcomes their customers and show their love for your pets.

I have been coming to Aunt Donna monthly for Shadow now more than 2 years since the groomer at Petsmart dropped from dog from the grinning table and I am very happy with their service. No complain here I love my baby and I make sure they are skilled and gentle with him. They are always booked for the day so call ahead of time.
