Fancy Fur'n Purr always does an amazing job with our dogs! We've been with them for years. They take their time and both dogs always come home happier than when we drop them off. They love their spa days! Our littlest pup, Daisey has a trachea issue and Fancy Fur'n Purr helped us diagnose it and knew the best way to provide service so as not to irritate it. We'll never go any where else.
You will not find a better pet groomer in Chandler. Brittney is the best groomer in town even beasts Scottsdale. Pay the money to have it done right. She knows poodles and does the best teddy bear cuts ever.
I brought in my mini golden doodle and he was very matted so I understood we were going to have to shave him down pretty much all the way. What I found crazy is that they charged 150 dollars for it (he's a 26lb dog) I can understand a cut being that much on that kind of dog but to completely shave you down and still be that much was insane. Not to mention how long they left his tail and ears. They also conveniently forgot they had charged me a deposit so it was 150 plus the 30 something I had put down to reserve an appointment. We called and luckily they reimbursed the deposit.
This place is awesome! I called for getting my dog nail trimmed, and they said they could do it right away, and it was quick. I could feel that they treat my pup with love and care, and the price for the nail trim is reasonable, too! And what I like about this place is that they are clear on their pricing, meaning that they have the list of their service with price/price range. As someone who doesn't like to see vague pricing, it's nice to see the pricing! Definitely would come back here again :)
I've been taking my miniature golden-doodle here since last year and the ladies here always do a great job. Prices are fair and I can typically schedule a few days in advance without issue. Cash or check only!
I have been taking my little Jazzy here since we moved to Arizona. I never worry about her there, everyone is so sweet and friendly. They always give her a great cut and are usually quicker than the time they quote. They are also very prompt on returning your phone calls should you have to leave a message. We will continue to use Fancy Fur 'n Purr.
Wondering why there was a 4 yr gap from our 1st visit? Long story short- simply found a closer shop. Unfortunately, my happy girl got kicked out of her shop for "bad behavior" and was sent home with a shaved body and incomplete cut... But it was a blessing in disguise because it brought us back to Brittany's shop! Thank you for the beautiful groom, we will be back!
Today was our first time at Fancy Fur n' Purr and I cant recommend the grooming team here enough! We've used three separate groomers in the East Valley and have always enjoyed our experiences at other places, but I'm certain we've found the right place for our fur kids. The ladies were fantastic with our two pups - Bella and Brody. Brody is a 7 mos. Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier (SCWT) puppy (he's all puppy). His ears, face and paws were a bit of a mess since he was neutered recently. They took great care of him - even pointed out that he might have the start of an ear infection. Bella is 1.5 year old SCWT mix. From the time I walked in the door they asked me questions about what I was looking for and were very engaged with the two pups. After leaving they called to let me know that they needed to cut Bella closer than I originally had asked for which was fine. A+ for calling and communicating that to me! Brittany called when they were finishing with Brody to confirm how I wanted his face/eyes cut. I've never had a groomer in 30+ years that goes out of the way to make certain they are doing what I wanted! Check out Fancy Fur n' Pur! You won't be disappointed :-)
The service was amazing! When i spoke to them on the phone the lady was so nice and when i got there they had the same attitude. The groomer that took my dog was Natasha and she was so sweet and really cared about what my dog was comfortable with. I will definitely be going back
Last week we took our dog, Charlie, to get groomed. I can not tell you how happy I am with Bri who groomed him. She took the time to listen to how we liked him cut and she did exactly what we asked. At pickup Charlie looked so handsome and he was is a very good mood. Bri was amazing and we highly recommend her and Fancy Fur 'n Purr.
Kylene was the sweetest and took wonderful care of my fur baby Kobe. I could tell he had a great time and she did an awesome job. He came back looking so handsome and happy. I would recommend Fancy Fur n Purr to anyone looking for a great animal loving groomer for their pup.

I absolutely love Fancy Fur 'n Purr! They are the best groomers around. I will never take my dog Max anywhere else. His groomer Kylene gives him so much love and attention while he is there, it makes me feel so safe. He comes out looking like a million bucks, so soft and fluffy and smells incredible. If you are looking for a good groomer and want to make sure your dog is in good hands Fancy Fur 'n Purr is the place to go. Kylene we love you for taking such good care of Max all the time!!! read more

This is a great dog groomer! I have been to 2 other groomers prior to Fancy Fur 'n Purr and they haven't even come close to the professionalism this place has. Kylene did such a great job on my Yorkiepoo! This is my second visit and I'll continue to come here! read more

Women are picky with who does their hair. Well I'm also picky on who touches my little fur baby angel. (Athena) Haha. For almost 2 years we took her to petsmart in Irvine, CA. All of the better places were close to 100$ for only wash and cut and too far so that was where we went. She was always sad and stressed to go, and the horror stories of dogs dying at pets mart always scared me. Cynthia the ONLY woman who handled her there was always great but that's beyond the point. I absolutely hated taking her there becauae of the environment and the caged dryers they use. Athena is very very timid and scared of EVERYTHING. We fostered her from a family that neglected her and hit her for the first 7 months of her life. So loud sounds or congestion of people or other dogs freaks her out. When we relocated to Chandler we swore we would find a independent salon where there won't be alot of dogs or people and where we know she will be treated with great care and attentiveness. My fiance started searching places and we love reviews so naturally Fur ń Purr came up. It seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. I called made an appointment and we took her in on a Friday morning! Walking in gave me alot of reassuring feelings cause only two dogs can be cut at a time! The women inside were super friendly and professional. We got all set up and she asked all about Athena and how we like her cut, I showed her pictures and what she looks like as far as the ideal cut we like. They kept her for about three hours which is so great and was actually going to be two but the dog before ran a little late. Petsmart use to keep my baby for seriously like 5 6 hours sometimes which is scary. We like to see how precise or not lazy people are when they cut her hair. Everything was perfect! Kimberly is the one who cut her, she did everything I asked perfect, not sloppy and the length wasn't excessive or choppy. She even did in between her paws! Which no one ever does. Her inner ears were perfect, her legs were all equal length and her tail was shaped so cute! She came out with little red bows in her hair and didn't seem ANYWHERE near as distressed as she use to be coming out of petsmart. I could not be more pleased with the first visit! We will definitely be back with the little brat for months to come! Thank you Kimberly. Athena says thank you too! read more

I'm just going to start by saying Kylene is so, so great! My little dog is a bit anxious and full of lots of energy, so I was skeptical when dropping her off... (we've had some less than pleasant grooming experiences in the past) Needless to say, I Ioveee this place and Kylene! She made me feel good about leaving my dog with her, and Chloe really liked her as well I'm really happy to say we found our groomers today! Thank you Fancy Fur 'N Purr, even more so thank you Kylene!!! read more

Don't mind the messy teenager bed... they are her buddies and only spot i could get them to stay still at Lon enough for the picture! I am so happy I found this place a few years ago!! I had tried some other big box stores before and they totally messed up my toy poodle's hair. I now have 2 toy poodles, and Mrs. Brittany does an amazing job keeping our fur babies groomed so beautifully!! Thank you for another great job!! And yes the certainly deserve the best groomer for the City of Chandler award!! read more

I called this morning to see if they had any openings today. They asked me if I could come in right now. Me and Loki, my cocker Spaniel, arrived at 8:30am and were greeted by a friendly staff. Brittany is the one I spoke with and she seemed to know how to cut a cockers hair. Other places I've been have not gotten it quite right. Finally at 1:30 I got the call that he was ready. It took longer than I wanted. Hopefully next time when I schedule an apt in advance, it won't take as long. Brittany did a fab job. She thinned his thick coat making it lighter and cooler for him, and easier for me to brush. His coat is so soft and she did pretty good blending the cuts. I didn't have a coupon but she used one to give him an oatmeal bath. That was sweet of her to do. She gave me coupons for the next time too. Typically his groomimg cost me $45. This place charged me $60. Ouch. I didn't see any advertised prices in the store. Though it is a bit higher, I am happy with his cut and the staff. When you find a good place, you stick with them. Thank you Brittany! read more

I came in here because the ladies seem super nice and friendly and welcoming when I first entered. I can easily bring my dog to any commercialized groomer but I decided to go somewhere local to support small businesses. I will say before I speak about my not so great experience at the very end of my check out I will say overall the welcoming experience was wonderful the ladies at the front and the people who do you deal with the dogs are wonderful. I came in and asked a few questions they explained it to me they were able to help me figure out if my dog really needed a De- shedding. They explain to me why my dog was shedding so much. They even took extra time to make sure that the D shedding process was done correctly. My dog was also bit by another dog about three months ago and I gave him a warning that one side of his body is where a dog bit him and I gave them a clear warning. I explain to them also that he's really sensitive about how it's his paws and that he will cry when it comes up to his nails being trimmed. I gave them the warning and then went about to still trimming his nails which was admirable. they did charge me extra fees first things that I didn't know about outside and of the de shedding... but for the most part based off their explanation sounded like the right thing to do and it should've just been included in the D shedding process... (I ended up paying about $70) The not so great part of my entire experience was the timing. I dropped off my dog before noon went and grab lunch and told them that I would run errands and pick up kids during the process. They said the latest that they would be done would be two hours if not they would give me a call. They ended up calling me at 3 o'clock when the store closes at 3:30 after that there was a $25 fee that they didn't tell me about it. (The lady who contacted me was the owner and her name was Britney) Just to make sure everybody knows they called me at 3 o'clock when they wanted me there at 3:30 I was on the other side of Gilbert with traffic... I told them when they called me that there was no way I was going to be there by 3:30 if I was on the other side of Gilbert was traffic, they weren't cooperative or compromising... that is why I'm giving this place a three star. Because their lack of communication and their unprofessionalism when it comes up to time. Just a refresher I dropped off my dog before noon. read more

Had a good previous visit, but this is by far the worse haircut my dog has gotten by a groomer. My golden retriever's fur is all over the place. It looks as if they brushed and dried her against the hair growth. How disappointing since I drove all the way from Phoenix. Two stars for staff friendliness and for the first visit. read more
