Very courteous and polite and prompt. My only complaint is that the work took more then twice as long as anticipated which set me back on personal plans. The estimated time was roughly 45 minutes, and it actually went well over 2 hours. Other then that, their customer service is of quality and so is their work/. read more

I had to repair three locks (front door, lobby door and mailbox) when I moved to my condo. I yelped for a locksmith and came across Undersky Locksmith (oh how glad I did). Roman came within a half hour and fixed everything. Roman is an amazing locksmith. He is courteous, professional and does his job well. His prices are good. I don't usually yelp reviews but I had to this time because Roman is fantastic. Do not look elsewhere, Roman is your man to do the job. You'll be glad you did. And 5 stars is it enough. If I could give more, I would. Thank you Roman!! read more

I actually have tears of gratitude writing this review. My almost 2 year old daughter locked herself in our bathroom. In a complete panic, I searched locksmith in yelp and called the first number that came up. There's a reason this was the first number! Roman answered right away and was at my house within 10 minutes. He ran in, mask on, gear in hand and had my girl out in under a minute upon arriving. I would have paid him anything but he amazingly said it was on the house. It was literally like superman appeared at our door, rescued us, and disappeared just as quickly. It was one of those moments that restored my faith in humanity in a big way. What a kind wonderful skilled person!! Do not hesitate to call this business for your locksmith needs. thank you, Roman!! read more

I'm a dumbass who has locked myself out of my apartment 3 times now, and every time this service is amazing, fast, and good to work with. He even gave me a discount on the third time, I think out of sympathy more than anything else. He's great! Came over within 10 minutes. 10/10 would recommend. read more

since we're adding a new lock to the entry door we decided to use a locksmith instead of a handyman. His price was very reasonable. He came with mask and gloves which was nice (you'll be surprise how many people don't ) Considering that he has to drill new hole for the lock, his price was very good and he did a good job making sure the lock is secure. read more

Very professional and fast! We have used Roman on two occasions for lock changes. Both times, he arrived on time and worked experiently. Each time he gave us a price range before coming out, confirmed the price on site before starting work, and explained various options and upgrades clearly and without pressure. I would highly recommend calling him if you need a lock change or rekey. read more

Roman is the best--professional and caring. He is timely with his communication and service and very courteous. He first helped me in January 2020 when I was locked out of my apartment, and again in May to replace my faulty bedroom lock. I highly recommend him. read more

I've written several reviews on Yelp, but this will be the highest rating I've ever given anyone or any place. Yelp: "Woohoo as good as it gets!" -- No, BETTER. If there were more stars Roman would get them. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, courteous, friendly, and efficient -- and calm. We had major lock troubles late Saturday evening (not a lockout, but we couldn't get in) and he was there quicker than I would expect anyone to be there. He remembered us from a previous job, explained what was wrong with the lock, fixed it, and gave us tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. On a past visit he diagnosed that a previous locksmith had installed the cylinder incorrectly. I wish other professionals could be as amazing as Roman... the world would be a better place. I never leave Yelp reviews but have to for Roman. I was waiting for over 20 minutes for another company to get back to me after being locked out of my apartment. My super found Undersky and contacted Roman. He got here in 15 minutes and was so kind and prompt. We ended up realizing there was a completely different issue with the lock altogether and he helped address that, too. Highly, highly recommend Roman!! read more

Couldn't be better. Honest, quick, thorough... This is the best locksmith I've dealt with in nyc. Turning to a locksmith is like going to the dentist. You have to trust in their honesty when you're in a moment of need. I once went to a dentist and he told me I had nine cavities. Nine! And a trip to another person showed I had none. Similarly, when I was locked out of my house recently, I had to trust a locksmith to tell me the extent of the damage and how much it was gonna cost to get into my place. Another locksmith --NOT UNDERSKY-- told me my whole lock had to be changed, and it could not be picked. He wanted to charge me over $200 to get into my place. I had him drill the lock but then turned to Undersky. Undersky told me not only that the lock could have been picked, but also, all that needed changing was the cylinder, and he did it for $75. No muss, no fuss. No $200. Plus, the guy was prompt, polite, and sweet as pie. I love this company! Could not give a more positive review. Turning to Undersky was he opposite of pulling teeth. read more

We engaged Roman to rekey the lock to our new apartment and it was a great experience from start to end. Not only did Roman respond to our estimate request very promptly, but he also provided valuable insight into alternative options we were considering. When it came to the actual job, he was very efficient and went above and beyond to remedy issues that were outside the scope of what we asked for. His prices were very reasonable and we are very happy with the results. Will not hesitate to use Roman again and highly recommend! read more

Roman is 100% reliable. He is responsive, honest, efficient, does excellent work, charges reasonable prices, and is just a nice guy. He installed three replacement doorknobs in our 100-year-old house, and a panic bar on a metal door in my company's 100-year-old office building. He took extra measures to make sure he understood what we needed, made suggestions, and followed through. He is fantastic. read more

Roman at Undersky is the best. This is the 3rd or 4th time we needed Roman's services. He responds quickly and promptly. The alignment of our front door locks were creating problems with the locks after my husbands do it yourself installation. In about 20 minutes Roman had reinstalled the locks and adjusted the strike plates. The front door operates better than ever. I don't even hear the front door anymore. The charge was almost 50% less than other quotes. We call Roman "our locksmith " he is great! read more
