I only had 40 and he told me to get more and come back or buy the tire and have it done somewhere else. The tire I had on the rear was already rubbing on the brake line and had no choice but go to my guy in Alb on Wyoming and Central going West on the left hand side Victor id hid name and I got SERVICED and a tire for $40. I live in Edgewood my wife works at Mr. Gas, So much for keeping your little shops alive they. Tony's can go out of business tomorrow and not one tear shed from me or the ones I tell not to go there. This place has only one review and as far as I can tell you better be a female to get a deal. Good luck to those that go to tony's

The electric windows on my 2002 car, were starting to have issues, so I took it to Tony's. The…read moredriver window, in particular, was the worst and was falling down on its own. One of the back windows was the only one still working good. They said it would cost me 350$ for a brand new motor. I agreed and left my car there. Couple days later, I picked it up. And guess what? The back window on the passenger side, that was working great, was now falling down on its own. I had asked them to provide me with the motor they replaced from the driver window. They could not. So I know they replaced it with the working one from the back window. Just switched them, and charged me the price for the new one, totally ripping me off. When I called, they played dumb, naturally. Never went back. The way they shamelessly do business is nothing I want any part of. EVER. So I spread the word. Seems like many others have similar experiences and are not happy with them. I don't know what it is about NM, and most businesses being like this. But it's no longer a coincidence. But a pattern.

Truck drivers, especially small fleets, please, beware of this repair shop!…read more 2nd to None Service takes full advantage of their remote NM location and can unfortunately do a lot of damage to your bottom line. It's great to read positive media coverage about the owners, but the media has failed to paint the whole picture of why they are successful. Has your truck broken down nearby? Their towing service is cheaper than the competition, but they charge unbelievably astronomical prices for their repair work (and parts) once they have you at the shop (where you have no other choice but to accept their rates).

As he stated that he will retrain his people, I hope that he accomplishes his vision of improving customer service and mechanic knowledge. Adding another star for his prompt resolution. Thank you Kyle for doing the right thing. Original Posting: What can I say about this company. First off, if you are traveling through Moriarty,NM and have car troubles, They will take advantage of your situation. They do not know how to troubleshoot codes in gas vehicles. Leaving you in the waiting room for hours on end. They break your working items, then not want to replace them with the OEM part they had broken, rather want to replace with cheaper item. They know nothing about customer service. Owner, David Saline will not take responsibility for his employees. He will not answer calls.

Not only did Amy and Annie do everything possible to get me in and out before my ETD, they were both warm and funny and authentically welcoming. Ari and his team are knowledgeable, skillful, and compassionate. While handling my tune up they found and resolved many issues for me, and alerted me to additional issues that might wait until after I return. Ari took the time to go over in detail, with both photos and drawings, everything that they discovered, and how they fixed the most pressing problems. They even popped my rear bumper back into shape where someone had caught the edge. Ari was keenly present and patient while reporting his findings. He answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions regarding what might be the next priortiy to address when I am ready. I walked away smiling, feeling like I received so much for a super reasonable final bill. I am beyond impressed. I feel 100% safe driving across the desert and beyond, and am looking forward to the next time I visit Master Tech. The integrity and caring are truly heartening. I've found my forever mechanic.

I originally went to the Master Tech garage on the advice of a friend of mine that started working…read morefor Ari. He told me that Ari was really thorough. Little did i know that Ari thoroughly ripped me off. He initially told me via text that my bill for the work would be $1100 plus tax but when i arrived to collect my vehicle, the price was more: $1587.51 Ari explained that my van needed new software for the electric engine and of course Chryslar charged for the software but having called the dealership after, I learned that Chryslar didn't charge anything for new software, Ari charged me $495 for software and charged me for labor (an hour) which normally takes 15-20 seconds to upload. He told me that he had to replace the electrical harness to replace the broken hood latch switch. If I had the foresight to order the hood light switch on Amazon, it would have cost $35.00, Ari charged me $225.00 for this item. After paying for service, I noticed that even though supposedly doing a overall performance check, ($75) they didn't bother to air up one of my tires, leaving me in a lurch and having to get it done somewhere else. At the performance review, Ari explained the repairs still needed on my vehicle, these included two new tires, a tuneup, allignment, replacing the spark plugs and other maintenance stuff. Of course, Ari and his technicians could do all of these repairs. He said that spark plugs would cost $400. When I looked them up on Amazon, they were priced at $99.00. I won't take him up on his offer to do the work on my vehicle. Thank goodness, I didn't make another appointment with Ari! Don't read any of the positive reviews, they were written by owner Ari. If you notice, the positive reviews are only a paragraph in length, whereas the negative ones are longer to include all of the complaints. I noticed advertisements for Master Tech in our local newspaper. How many mechanics need to advertise their services? Only the ones that have alienated previous clients, only the ones that are beginning to see their over charging finally costing them their reputations. Santa Fe is a "word of mouth" town, Ari 's karma is finally catching up to him and unfortunately, to the rest of the technicians that work at his garage. I told my friend that he needs to find another job. Even though I had to pay through the teeth, and I felt like I had been scammed, the garage fixed my car. It really was a win/win.
