They tell the first lie: they are taking it right in. Then I get a call about an hour later. Do I need the car at a specific time? I say, not exactly but not all day. What time are you thinking. Ohhhh, we will get back to you asap. Lie 2. That never happened. Three hours later I call. Told it will def be done in 2 hours and they will call. Lie 3. You keeping count? Call again twice two hours later. Told I will call you back in 10 mins. Lie 4. Do you think it's over? Nahhh, I only get them on the phone when they are trying to upsell me on things they have no idea about as I'm a new customer, so recommending work based on ether. Then comes the last lie of the day. Lie 5: will call. you back in 10 mins to give you a time to pick it up. Alas, not a word. I get in an uber to get to them before 5:30....so basically 8 hours for an oil change at this point. My car is outside with the few things in the passenger seat thrown onto the dashboard (water bottle, tissue box, hand sanitizer). Never got a call. Just checked out without one word of apology or one honest statement about what created the backup other than 'we've had a busy day' so apparently appointments are meaningless. Hopefully the actual car service does not align with their hideous customer service. A new low for auto repair. Just staggering lack of courtesy.

I am…read morenot able to comment on the quality of work they perform as I was not able to get that far to have any work done. On March 26 I went to Northside in person to make an appointment to have my car serviced. I gave them a list of what needed to be done which was only standard recommended routine maintenance. I was told to bring my car in by 7:30 AM March 28th and to plan on two to two and a half hours to perform the work. Got my car there at 7:30. At 12:00 I had not received any information on the status of the service being done. I gave them a call and all I got was a recording. Left a message and waited till 1:00 for return call. I called again and got no answer, left another message. At 2:30 a friend took me up to check on what was going on. I went into the office and the guy I had been dealing with (wish I had gotten his name), was sitting there eating his lunch. He told me that he had gotten my messages and was going to get back to me when he was through eating. Apologized for my car not being taken care of yet but they were ready to get in shortly. At 3:10 we drove by again and my car was still sitting outside. Went in and got another apology and said they are going get in now. Told him not to bother as I was taking my car. Then he had the nerve to ask me if Monday would work for me. You can imagine what my response was. Will never be able to review the quality of work they perform.

This is a very honest business that doesn't try to Price gouge (take it from someone who received many, many quotes). They did a fantastic job on rebuilding my suspension, replacing my CV axles, and putting in new front and rear brakes, among other work. Seriously, I couldn't believe the night and day difference before and after I had the work done. It was like I was driving a new car. They officially have a customer for life (or at least, as long as I'll be in Albuquerque). I highly recommend them for your auto servicing needs.

It most likely had a dirty carb needed the timing checked and probably some minor repairs. Kelly actually was extremely negative about even having me take the vehicle stating " it would take too much of his time and he didn't feel like doing an older vehicle"! I've never experienced such negativity and I'm disappointed to see how the industry has turned into people taking shortcuts. Without even seeing the car this guy refuses to even provide and estimate . He tells me just to check my carb it would be at least 300$ and who knows how many more parts he needs!!!

Flash Automotive…read more Incompetent! Took my vehicle in. Gave them explicit instructions on how to recreate the issue. Also gave them explicit approval to just replace said parts - No Diagnostics necessary. Just replace the parts. Easiest job ever - just replace the parts. I dropped it off when the problem was present and obvious , but Brendan refused to go for a test drive, or even go to the parking lot so I could show him the problem. Brenda called 8 days later saying they couldn't diagnose the problem. He said his master mechanic with 40 whatever years of experience couldn't duplicate the issue - and admitted they did not drive it the minimum duration I told them to to replicate the problem. Once again, why are you trying to diagnose something that you had approval to just fix?! I don't care how experienced the mechanic is. If they are unwilling to do their due diligence in diagnosing the problem, especially with explicit instructions from the customer (yes, some customers know what they're talking about) all that experience is irrelevant. Incompetent. They attempted to say it was just a bad gauge, but sadly that's not the case and wouldn't case the actual problem. And the fact that they couldn't diagnose ONE issue, they ignored the other issues and didn't service them. Brendan refused service. They had it 8 days didn't repair a warranty issue and the other two items they had approval to do so without any diagnostics. They fixed nothing! Completely incompetent and evidently hard of hearing to. Brendan is arrogant and does not listen to the customer. No chance I'd ever recommend this company. Sad, when you can't even get them to just do the work. Overall experience was pathetic and unacceptable. What a waste of time. Looking forward to their defensive reply
