She was told the problem was the wheel bearings and was charged $25 just for the inspection. Based on their diagnosis, we replaced the bearings--only to find out they were never the problem. Not only was the diagnosis incorrect, but they couldn't identify the actual issue and still charged an elderly customer for inaccurate information. That cost us unnecessary time and money. I understand that diagnosing vehicle problems isn't always easy, but if you're going to charge people for a professional diagnosis, there should be confidence and accountability behind it. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. I hope this encourages others to seek a second opinion before spending money on repairs based solely on a diagnosis from Alberto's. 0 star

They lied to me and told me that it was done and they never touched it but they charged me for it being on the rack. I took the truck back told him that the alignment wasn't done. They told me that I needed to replace my ball joint so I replaced my ball joints took the truck back and they still left my steering wheel crooked, and it was pulling to the right. They told me that there was no help for my truck and that that it had played in the steering wheel I took my truck to Gill point S on Eubank. They fixed every problem that Alberto's couldn't fix Alberto's tire shop the owner the son that works there and the wife. They will all tell you what you want to hear just for the sake of them making money. they need to reevaluate how they treat people and the way that they conduct their business, very unprofessional and very distasteful.

The mechanic kind of begrudgingly did, but he did it quickly and then honestly told me what the issue was, reset the code and sent me on my way. $0 dollars. Old town automotive should be avoided at all costs. Not trustworthy. I asked them if they could quickly check the code. She told me how much a full diagnostic was ($200) I should have left then. After the "full diagnostic" When I asked if they would charge me a "partial diagnostic" she said no. I asked for the Yelp check in discount $10 or $20 maybe? no. AAA discount ? No. After asking if the was anything she could do to help me out she finally caved and gave me the aaa discount because she "doesn't even subscribe to Yelp and can't understand them on the phone half the time." I don't know if it's worth noting... THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS BECAUSE OF YELP, It was 10 or $20 discount and they were already ripping me off... I regret letting my anxiety get the better of me at the start of the trip. This situation was easily avoidable. I should have just left. Still waiting for that full diagnosis btw. Boo this garage.

These days, it's more like a three week book out, which must mean business is good. For this particular visit, we had several mileage maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. We were given a list by the Ford Dealership, and we brought that in for a quote with Cedar Crest Tire. The Ford Dealership also noted that we had evidence of an engine oil leak. I made the appointment at the beginning of July, and I got in on July 20th. They have a key drop box that we were able to use and leave the vehicle there the weekend prior. I got a call on Tuesday afternoon that my vehicle was ready for pick up. On my way into town, I swung by to pay the bill and get the key. I know that they have a ride service available, but I hoped by daughter would help me with the ride. We looked over the invoice and didn't see anything addressing the engine oil leak. He got a hold of the technician, and he said there was no evidence of a leak. Before bringing in the vehicle, I did call back to add an emissions service to the list of items, and that one was overlooked, but I wasn't billed for it either. I feel like my correspondence with them have always been professional, and my vehicles have always been repaired.

Fantastic service and work performed by Ray, the technician. I will use them again to change out 4 tires on a travel trailer in storage as well. Highly recommend this business.
